“Mexican Cook Book Devoted to (for) American Homes” by Josefina Velasquez De Leon 7a. 1969 (this edition was released after she passed in 1968.
It has Spanish on one side and English on the other. It’s an amazing book with great recipes, awesome translations, and “sketch” art throughout.
I’ve had this for many years. I picked it up at a ‘swap meet’ in San Diego, in the mid-80s, with my abuelita; for like 2 bucks. It has inspired me with not only cooking but life in general.
