People are saying Kane debunked the theory that the BR scans memories, but that can’t be right
We’ve seen the under construction sign from Mary’s memories (along with the handprints in the concrete), the skyscraper itself is inverted in the above pic, we saw the bookstore, Clark’s house is in the dinner scene, etc.
It can’t just be scanning the present because a lot of these things happen in the past. Mary’s childhood memories may even take place before the BR was discovered. These are key moments in people’s lives.
