HX One?
So I've got my board pretty much the way I want it (lol I know famous last words) but I do want to have one pedal for miscellaneous one-off modulation, etc. Don't want an individual flanger, phaser, chorus etc. just for one song, and none of the analog pedals I've tried really do all the things. So I was thinking about going back to an HX One, which I owned a while ago, and ended up getting rid of just because I was fiddling too much with it, though I did quite like the sounds.
I'm wondering whether people are using something comparable that is better for that purpose, or which you prefer more? I do have a Valeton GP-5 lying around that I don't use too much, the mini pedal format would be hard to adjust during gigs. But if you have suggestions I'd love to hear them before I go in search of another HX One!
No need to suggest stuff like QC etc., I'm not doing amp modeling at this point, I love my tube amps and am not ready to ditch them. Thanks!!
WTB: King Tone Blues Power V3 or V2
The one in the smaller enclosure ... if you got one, lmk!
WTS/T: Iridium, Golden Horse, Toxic Twins, Onward, Ranges, Timmy, more
Clearing the proverbial decks, getting ready to head straight for the iceberg with a stripped down crew of pedals. Can't take everyone. So trying this here before I go to the hostile shores of Reverbia and Marketplacistan.
All prices based on low end of Reverb. If you want something and feel like the price is not right DM me and we will discuss, just be reasonable please. Star means box etc. All prices shipped to CONUS.
Only trades I want are for an MXR Textures or a Strymon Zelzah. Please respect me in my time of focused GAS.

WTT: Kasleder Toxic Twins, Decibelics Golden Horse, WAT Ranges, Digitech Trio WTTF: Strymon Zelzah
hey, I know it's a bit of a long shot but if anyone has one and is interested in any of the above lmk. Also happy to try to beat Reverb prices on any of them.
In addition to the Zelzah, could also be into an MXR Textures.
Everything but the Toxic Twins has boxes and is in mint condition (TT is also in great shape, just no box).
Stay safe out there.
(forgot to mention I also have an MXR Timmy and a Templo Model 66 I could throw into trades)

Getting down to the last few ... two great pedals. Just didn't work for what I'm doing. All prices shipped to CONUS. Both of these will cost you way more anywhere else!
TRADED: $220 Non Human Audio Regrets: resonant, ambient, analog reverb. Basically new in box, played it a few times, just didn't end up being the one for me. Let my loss be your gain.
$220 Kasleder Toxic Twins. Bluesbreaker on the left, Tubescreamer on the right, beautifully voiced. Legendary dual drive that is almost impossible to find used**.**
WTT: CBA, Hungry Robot, NHA Regrets, JHS Lucky Cat, more WTTF: Microcosm
Hey Krazy Kats, I've settled on my board and have some awesome stuff that I'm just not going to be using ... I'd like to give the Microcosm a whirl. Not interested in much else at this point, definitely no dirt. I can add cash as necessary.
I do have a Brothers AM coming in that I'm excited about, but if you have a Microcosm and really want that we could discuss. I also have other things that I'm very on the fence about parting with, so if none of what is listed is of interest feel free to DM and we can parlay.
WTT:
Hungry Robot The Wash, V2 with tap tempo
Non Human Audio Regrets, new in box
JHS Lucky Cat, pink sparkle analogy and digital delay with tap tempo
Fender Cabronita baritone (guitar scale) with upgraded pickups
various 10" speakers (Jupiter, Jensen) I could add on to sweeten the deal
Feelers: Brothers AM, Barber Direct Drive, other dirt (feel free to reach out about it, happy to discuss!)
WTTF: Hologram Microcosm
Magnatone Troubadour replacement speaker?
Hi, I'm thinking about replacing the speaker in my 1960 Magnatone Troubadour (112). I'll keep the original in case I want to resell it, but for gigging and recording it doesn't feel like it has enough oomph. Anyone have any recommendations?
WTS: EAE, Chase Tone, Barber, Spaceman, Hungry Robot, MXR, Templo
trying again, for some reason Reddit removed the last post because it offended their obscure filters. All prices shipped. Not really into any trades, maybe a Brothers or Brothers AM or a Deco v1 or v2, but prefer to sell.

If you want to buy any of these I'd be up for selling most of them for the lowest reasonable price, though need to hang onto some until I score the BAM!

question about external cabs for Benson Amp
I recently picked up one of the Benson + Milkman collab desktop amps to use as a head, and am looking for a 212 to pair with it. I don’t know much about speakers, have always just played combos with whatever came with them for the most part. There are two reasonably priced cabs for sale near me, and I was hoping to get some thoughts about which one I should get. I play mostly clean, a little bit of drive, indie pop and some country, so not looking to push the speakers.
One is a closed back Avatar with a
G12m 10th anniversary gold and G12h 25w greenback. The other is open back and has the same greenback but with an Alnico blue.
All thoughts welcome, thank you!!

thoughts on 57 Fender Custom Twin Tweed (and other variants)?
so I happened to stop in at a music store when I was on a business trip, and played a 57 Custom Tweed reissue. It was super banged up but sounded glorious. I’ve always more or less dismissed Twins and other amps of that size because the bands I play in are quiet, and I don’t love lugging around giant amps. Seemed unnecessary. But I really loved the sound of this amp, even at low volumes, and I am sure it would stay clean and take pedals exceptionally well. I much preferred the Tweed sound to standard reissues, which I have played.
I currently own a Carr Super Bee 112, which is of course an incredible amp. I keep it clean, and use pedals for dirt, modulation, etc. But playing a 212 I realized that there is something irreplaceable about the sound of two speakers in one cabinet that even the best 112 can never get near. So I am now seriously considering getting the 57 Custom, or one of the variants, like a Victoria 50212, and just living with the size of it.
So I’m curious about people’s experience with the 57 Custom or other amps of that ilk, and which other ones might be worth looking into. This one was a little pricey, listed at around $1800 (before tax), though that does not seem to be out of line with the prices I see on Reverb. I see Victoria 50212’s going for closer to 1k. I don’t really have the skills to build my own. I see clones for sale as well, though no idea how to evaluate them.
Anyway, any info anyone wants to share would be much appreciated!
