A video showcasing an idf sniper shooting to death an unarmed Palestinian child with clearly no military necessity.

My independent investigation of the footage:

The footage was taken along the Gaza border fence. The IDF formally stated the video was filmed on December 22, 2017, though it leaked and went viral in April 2018 The IDF launched an investigation. They ultimately censured and disciplined the soldier who filmed the video for unauthorized use of a camera and cheering ("unauthorized filming and distributing of the video... and for the statements made"), but the IDF defended the sniper, stating:
“the shooting itself was justified because the protester had allegedly been participating in violent riots
earlier”.

However despite the attempt of the idf trying to justify the actions of the sniper any of its Claims about the target’s involvement in violent riots have no evidence.
