Is it hard to find a food bank that accepts fresh produce?
I've been gardening and realized I could grow way more than I need. I have nothing better to do.

I have not seen any other religious books dedicating an entire chapter to "this is real but let me tell you why I can't give you proof for 9 minutes ".
I'm not hating and am genuinely interested. I just can't understand why she thinks she needs to explain why she's not lying in such detail. It sounds like the rant of a kid got caught stealing the first time.
I just need this part explained before I keep reading because she sounds like a crackpot and hasn't even gotten to anything religious yet.
It's become commonplace to use mentally ill as an insult. Reddit doesn't care. If you say you're schizophrenic people make fun of you. Reddit once against doesn't care.
If someone trashes people based on race it would be a big problem.
This place, even more than real life, makes me feel like society just doesn't give a shit if you spit on us.
I'm normally pretty good at this game but I've had some strange losses. It's called town of salem.
Out of the blue I keep dying over and over again day 1. This isn't normal for me or anyone.
I've already had the FBI go after me once. They play a lot of mind games. I'm wondering if this is one of them.
Someone told me that schizophrenics usually score sub normal on intelligence tests. I know it affects the prefrontal cortex but they were 100% certain you cannot be intelligent and schizophrenic at the same time.
I have evidence to the contrary. I wanted to see what you all thought about this.
He's a new roommate and I just can't seem to get along with him. All he talks about are religion and politics and we have stark contrasts on both.
His solution was to pretend I didn't exist. He went two days without talking to me, he even found a way to pay for the week without talking to me.
My solution was to figure out a situation where he lived somewhere else with a person he had more in common with. It's just my personal preference that while living in the same house the roommate is at least cordial.
After I presented such solution he told me that he thought I was the one giving him the silent treatment. He also told me he no longer felt comfortable at my house because telling him to leave was threatening him.
My request for him to leave read like legal paper just bland and boring. I've been doing this for 11 years and I like people to leave nicely and not steal anything or fuck the place up.
From my point of view where he's wrong is that he tried to gaslight me about me giving him the silent treatment, and accusations of threats when there were none.
Where I'm wrong is that some roommates choose not to speak to each other. I hear this is common. Personally that sounds like hell to me.
It's pretty cut and dry. You imprint cat smell on them by feeding them on a used scratching post and things like that. After that they go nuts trying to find cat smell. You can also point at things for them to check.
Reason I'm picking cats and not dogs is because they're often lost because they're hiding and I'm thinking that would lead to a higher success rate. I've never owned a cat.
Are there any safety concerns for the dog? I've had other ideas that people have had pretty good reasons not to move forward with.
I've taken three tests. The only one that matters scored me at 132. So at 132 compared to the rest of you I'm a moron.
I posted a question here the other day and a few people who got upvoted considerably basically said the majority of the population isn't likely to tell them something they don't already know.
I do not personally feel that way at all. I learned something new about birds from someone who was intellectually disabled. Apparently the brightly colored cardinals are males and the females are more brown. I had previously thought they were all bright red. It did not make me feel lesser than an intellectually disabled person taught me something. On top of it I've been involved with avian photography for years as a hobby.
**I personally don't feel smarter than anyone else!**
I get the sense that a lot of people here think for whatever reason that you cannot learn from someone who has lesser intelligence. I want to challenge that because nobody has all of the facts. I don't care how many books you've read on the topic there's still going to be something you don't know. It might be known by someone who's average. I feel like a lot of you are just going to dismiss anything that isn't from a book or someone smart enough to be in mensa.
**You're missing out on what 98% of the population has to offer.**
Just because someone isn't as smart as you doesn't make their words, beliefs, or even their thoughts irrelevant. I think a lot of you have an attitude that if someone is not gifted you are superior to them on every topic.
IQ is mainly about the brains ability to learn. We're all great learners here. How about not slitting your own throats and learn from the other 98% of the population. You'd be surprised at what they have to offer.
Or maybe I'm just not smart enough to understand just how much someone with a 150+ IQ knows. I've browsed through this sub and almost nobody claims to be in the 130s even though it's statistically way more likely than any other gifted number.
I really just like growing weed. Maybe even more than I like smoking it. I live in a state that doesn't allow that and I'm looking to move.
I'm currently disabled but if they would let me sell pot I'd be paying taxes. It's really good weed. People would buy it.
If someone could point me in the right direction it would be great. I want to grow under 25 plants so I can focus on quality.
I read that smarter people treat beliefs as working concepts and accept new information that may contradict their position where as the rest of the population treats their beliefs as part of their identity and generally don't change them.
I'm wondering if any of you find this accurate.
He was saying that being schizophrenic is pointing out that something is wrong so they should change it to a more positive word.
A couple days ago I told him to stop being a know it all and he's proactively trying to change that. He's just getting it wrong. Instead of stopping to act like he's the ultimate authority on things he doesn't know shit about he just stopped disagreeing with me. I don't give a damn if he disagrees with me.
This guy is just too damn stupid for life.
So yesterday I decided to actually challenge his views rather than walking away. Here's a couple key things.
He says Japan has a purely defensive military and we started with them during WWII by placing a naval blockade. So I brought up The Rape of Nanking. He didn't know what it was but once I explained it he said it didn't matter because it had nothing to do with the United States. Yes, you read that correctly. That's exactly how stupid that part of the conversation went.
Then he said that when a country attacks its neighbor nobody should intervene because it's none of our business. I explained to them that Russia would continue to take more territory if Ukraine fell and would almost definitely be a major problem for the United States. He asked me if I actually believed that implying that I was an idiot.
Today he comes home and starts ranting about how he proves everyone wrong on politics and people get pissed off about it. He says he doesn't want to talk about the same stuff stupid people want to talk about. He doesn't want to talk about the weather like an idiot, he wants to have an intelligent conversation about the weather machine the elite control.
There was a really cool 10 oz bar that looked like a playing card and I wanted it. He didn't even float selling it to me and told me he could give me a great deal on ten 1 oz rounds.
My dad does a fuck ton of business with this guy and I know he wasn't trying to rip me off.
They're quick to ban people for very little reasoning. They're usually obnoxious before they mute/ban you. They will ban you for reporting a problem on their end like the auto mod. They will ban you for not understanding a sub instead of just deleting the post. They ban you for ludicrous things like not being gay, which would open up most establishments for a lawsuit irl.
They usually send an obnoxious message before banning you. I don't know what the point of that is, but it's pretty much the norm.
They add very little to the subreddit as they only deal with infractions and have no higher authority overseeing them to make sure they're moderating correctly. I think this is a big draw to become a moderator. There is no other way to mess up peoples day with no fear of repercussion than to become a mod. For instance cops have a supervisor and internal affairs. Mods have nothing even remotely like that.
On top of it, they don't get paid. The only currency they receive is bullying the population of the subreddit and the ability to fire off bans. Some subreddits even have sister subreddits where you can grovel to the mods about wanting back in. If you don't grovel, you're not coming back.
With that being said, I have come across one subreddit where the mods will back and forth with you if you send them a message. It's a sub related to a health issue and they actually care about what they're doing.
I think the problem is with the larger subs that need to hire mods outside of the subreddit. People who have never even posted on the sub before apply just so they can mod god. They have no interest in the material, they're only interested in being in charge.
I really want to stay on this website. It has some interesting things. I just can't get over how the first layer of oversight is just there to abuse their position. So CMV.
All day I sit in my house and wait. I don't know what I'm waiting for. It's like being in a lobby that never ends.
My parents are pretty well off and bought me a house. I have no job, no friends, no life. On top of it my moms former best friend has convinced the entire town that I'm a sex offender. I have 0 libido due to meds so that's impossible.
I want to go to a group home so I have something to do and people to talk to. My parents can afford a good one, but the only one I reached wants $7500/month and is on the other side of the country. It's outlandish.
They said I have optional groups, I can drive, and they'll extend the curfew if I'm doing something productive. The intake guy was really cool and it seemed like the place wasn't strict at all.
I just want to hear some first hand experience about these places from people who have lived at one.
You walk past an alley with a man SAing someone at knife point. Do you put yourself first and let this guy finish up while the police take their sweet time arriving or do you put the other person first and open yourself up with being victimized with that knife?
I could go on but I think one example paints a clear picture.
We constantly call people heroes who run into burning buildings.
Everyone says put yourself first but I think this is shit advice. People are going to do that anyway most of the time. The people who put others first when it counts are always highly regarded.
So I have schizophrenia and currently my iq is 125.
My really big issue is people are dismissive of me because of the way I talk. I'm not the best at having a normal conversation.
I feel like I've been playing the "dumbass" character since I was a child. It was a crime to outshine my father and I got a concussion courtesy of a gang. For whatever reason when I play dumb people aren't very hostile towards me.
The problem is I can't stop playing the dumbass character. People who know me well assume that I hide my intelligence and they ask me why. I don't have a real answer.
You're all probably way smarter than me but I've seen similar posts here about having trouble fitting in because you can't relate to people with normal iqs.
I'm beyond not relating. I get all of these people coming into my life who think I'm an idiot. Nobody's going to take it well if I were to show them a document that says there's a 95% chance I'm smarter than them.
My current goal is to get a masters degree. I really have no idea if I can work anything other than a WFH job. My thinking was even if I can't hack it people know you're not a dumbass if you have a masters degree.
I was talking to my current roommate about what ICE is doing in America. He kept spewing propaganda at me until I said something relating to me being schizophrenic and then he just walked away and gave up.
On top of it, before I had the concussion I was a ton smarter than I am now. I was much better at having conversations and generally a lot more upbeat. Took better care of myself. I can still feel phantom pains where I got hit to this very day. That was 22 years ago.
Right now I'm trying to take these lemons and turn them into lemonade. I just keep thinking of Albert Einstein and Tesla. They were both probably schizotypal which is like schizophrenia ultralight but they did great things.
Maybe I'll be the first moderately smart schizophrenic to achieve something. So far I haven't achieved jack shit.
