Hi all, I'm coming back to Eldar for 11e (having last played them in 3e; returned to the game in 10e playing Dark Angels).

Played Ulthwé back in the day so looking at a Seer Council list, mixed with Armoured Warhost because A) love me Fire Prisms, simple as, and B) access to Recon for Primary, which seems to be ideal for Eldar(?).

This is what I've thrown together, bearing in mind I haven't had any (recent) experience playing Eldar; does this seem like a reasonable start, or am I making any major errors?

General idea is to burn everything with high-strength plasma. Deathwing Knights hold a central objective, Black Knights take an expansion, LSV trouble-shoots, Hellblasters incinerate anything in the middle, Redemptor guards Home, Inceptors fry their backline.

Thoughts?

11e has had several changes to make Battleshock much more frequent and punishing in the new edition. So one thing I haven't seen discussed much is how this might impact Unforgiven Task Force; today's faction packs confirmed it eliminates the "-" of the new Battleshock and changes it to "1" instead. It's also only 2DP, so it can be combined with any of the new 1DP detachments, and it has a decent suite of Stratagems. Do we think this will be enough to make Unforgiven Task Force viable in the new edition?
