I’m having my hair done in a week. I’m terrified.

As the title says.

Thankfully the hairdresser does home visits so I’ve opted for that. We’ve never met before so I’m going to have to explain my situation, but I’m so scared.

I never leave the house, I rarely see people because I always feel so horrible. I have graduation photos with my family next week too hence getting my hair done, but god. How can I sit in a chair for 3 hours? I only ever have my knees up on my chair or slouch and have my head resting. I never just sit upright because I get dizzy and weak. How will she be able to even wash it out of my hair? Putting my head down over a sink? Regardless, I just CANNOT sit still!!! I have to be on the move so I don’t take notice of dizziness but this time I’m going to have to sit for multiple hours. I’m gonna die.

How do I survive this? I’m so embarrassed and exhausted from all of this.

Is this lifelong or not? Nothing I'm being told is making sense!

I've had constant dizziness every single day after an aggressive ear infection back in 2023 when I was 17. I'm only 21 and barely ever leave the house because I constantly feel so sick and horrid.

I keep seeing things about PPPD being a "chronic" condition, but also that it can be cured? And that people who have had it in the past have been able to fully recover for years and live their lives normally, yet if something is so-called chronic, it means it repeatedly comes back or persists for a long time.

So I guess my question is, does this ever ACTUALLY go away? Or is this something I'm going to have to live with for the rest of my life?

Will I ever be able to go in cars again without anxiously taking anti-sickness remedies, despite never being motion sick before, and needing to cut things short constantly because I feel so ill? Will I EVER get my life back??

Every time I stumble across something new it’s like another knife in the heart.

I was looking up someone on “Find A Grave” and decided to see if Oliver was on there and if anyone had maybe left pictures or virtual flowers etc for him.
But just seeing the “recently deceased” has struck me over again.

We miss you so much Oliver 😔🤍

How does blocking actually work?

I have 2 accounts. Personal and for business. Someone who I was talking to blocked me on my personal, and because both are linked it automatically blocked my business one too.

Well a month goes by and I get a like on a recent post on my business account, and it’s him? Random.
I check my personal and I’m still blocked there, and my third secret account is too which he’d have no way of even knowing about ( since they’re linked ) but my business is unblocked.

I just checked again now ( about a week after the like ) and suddenly it’s blocked again?

Did he unblock that one account to see my stuff but keep the other blocked? Or was it just a fault in the system as to why it’s doing this?.

I know back in the day you had to block each individual account but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. Would it genuinely be him doing all this manually or is it automatic when multiple accounts get blocked? And can anyone explain what happened. I’m so confused?!?!

Anyone else feel sick not just outside, but inside too?

I see a lot of people on here talking about how going out makes them feel ill, but is there anyone on here who also feels ill while at home too?

I’ve been agoraphobic since 2023 following an ear infection, and ever since I’ve felt sick almost every single day. I’ve had blood tests etc and everything is fine so I’m sure it’s just anxiety presenting physically. But I have a couple questions

  1. Is there anyone on here who also feels ill 24/7, regardless if they’re out or not? ( of course, going out amplifies this but just generally speaking )

  2. People who have felt this way, did pushing through exposure and going out make you feel less ill all round?

  3. Is there anything that can generally help? Exercise? I feel nauseous ( mainly because of GERD ) and ridiculously tired and dizzy all of the time.

This is hell.

Sudden faint feeling and dizziness when feeling anxious. Never had issues before. Why now?

Whenever I’ve felt anxious in my life I’ve just had the heart racing, a little nauseous, if it was really bad: shaking and crying. That was it.

For some reason in the last 2 years every time I feel anxious I feel extremely faint, dizzy, sick, sweaty, shaky, the whole lot.

Why is this? It started suddenly after an illness that made me super anxious for a while ( and still does a lot of the time now too tbh ) and now I can never experience anxiety like I used to. I’m so confused? Is there a way to go back to how I used to experience it or is this now the awful reality that I’m going to have to face for the rest of my life?

I miss my old version of anxiety 😩

( also yes I have been to multiple therapies, no I haven’t tried medication as I have other health issues and meds I have to take that could make it dangerous for me longterm )

It’s almost 3am here in the UK, staying up especially to watch the livestream. How’s everyone doing?

I’ve lit my last tea light candle for Oliver tonight.

I made a post a few days ago about how it still doesn’t feel real, and tonight it has really hit.
I’m beyond tired as I’m usually asleep hours before now, but I’ve forced myself to stay up and pay tribute to such an amazing person.

I’m in tears again even writing this. I hope everyone is hanging in there. I’ll see you guys in the stream, much love to all of you 🤍
- and of course to Oliver too 🕊️🤍

I still can’t believe it’s real.

I’ve been a fan of Oliver since 2019 after I found out he was dating Melanie Martinez ( who I was a massive fan of at the time ). I would listen to Oliver’s music on the way to school, to college, and he released “bounce” on my 18th birthday in 2023. Watching his progression, and “vibes” change through all of his albums was so exciting to me.

I was playing a backrooms game with 2 of my friends when I heard the news. My friends brother walked into her room and I just heard “oliver, yeah” as her headset mic cut out. She then goes “oh what (my name) likes him”. I then say “what” and she goes “Oliver tree has died”.

I didn’t believe her as I know the kind of person Oliver was and it wouldn’t have been such a shock if he had faked his death for a stunt. But I searched it up and there it was.

I’m not going to sit here and pretend I was a mega fan with merch and constantly keeping up to date with everything, but his work was a huge part of my college days especially, and watching all of his Instagram updates was hilarious.

It was over a month ago but I’m still having an odd time processing that he’s actually gone, especially in the way that he went and reading about how he was found. It’s absolutely devastating.

Rest in peace Oliver. We thank you, and we miss you 🤍

I got cheated on.

I (21F) got cheated on. I found out this afternoon accidentally through an Instagram comments section that he was in a relationship with someone else as well as me. I’m too heartbroken to go into details. I can’t see a way out through the fog.

I’m an absolute mess. What do I even do now?

A guy, a business, and a sticky situation. Please help 😖

So I (F21) and this guy (M22) have been talking for a good while now.
It started off as a friendship where we ended up setting up a business together and have been putting in countless numbers of hours into it over the past 4 months or so.

Back in March, we called one day and he started giving compliments and eventually the conversation ended up with us talking about feelings for each other.
Now to preface, I have OCD and I ruminate about things over and over again. I’ve been in therapy for it before, but I’m still yet to conquer it.

I said to him to not mention any of this if he didn’t mean it because of my ocd, but he was adamant that he was being truthful and whatever else, but over the next month after this things went a bit back and forth and I couldn’t tell if he was joking about it, so I didn’t believe him. He didn’t want to date because he has some life things going on right now, but also that he’s “emotionally unavailable” but also somehow still liked me?
After that things were kinda just left as if nothing was ever spoken about, but my thoughts never ended up stopping there.

We had a conversation last night about it all ( my side of things ) as I couldn’t keep it in anymore and I’m noticing the feelings and thoughts ever so slightly getting worse because of it. He was being truthful about the feelings before and none of it was a joke, he’s just worried about his work and where his life is going that he doesn’t want to date incase it were to get in the way of a relationship which I understand. But I’m just confused as to why he would bring up these feelings in the first place as 1. I told him not to unless he was serious about it and 2. Why he brought them up knowing that he wouldn’t be able to date.
In any other situation I would probably just call it quits and leave even the friendship behind, but in this case it’s different.

We have a serious business together to work on that’s giving us a really good salary, we have a good friendship too. Does anyone have any advice on how I could possibly move past this and go back to viewing it just as the friendship we had before, or to at least cope with it for the business?
Or even a bonus, how to stop the repetition of the past mentally questioning everything.

Thanks!
