It is established that the Guardians are shape shifters and their small blue humanoid form is only to put younger species at ease

Seeing as the guardians will be appearing as humans in the show, I think it’s fair to point out that their well known Smurfs look was designed to look small, wise, and non-threatening to the wider galaxy.

I’ve gathered what I believe are the official power rings for Guy, Hal, and John

Guy’s ring is from Superman and was designed by the same prop master as the 2011 Ryan Reynolds movie. The official merchandise version of the ring is completely inaccurate and the second slide is the real design from the concept art. Hal’s ring has a diamond cut gem in the center and a silver band. The theorizing begins with John as it seems he’ll just wear Hal’s ring at first but may modify it at some point causing the center stone to have rings instead of the diamond cut and a seemingly darker band. But it could just be inconsistent props.
