I was wondering why DHL, a german company had planes registered as british... so i asked google...

By the way.. this picture is from a game called SkyCards... it's a game that you play to catch as many planes as possible.. the planes you catch are real and currently in flight... it uses the same software flightradar24 uses, since the game is from them.. and when you are in the process of catching these planes you get basic information like airport of origin and destination, aircraft type, registration, altitude and speed.. plus date of first flight and who owns it... so i caught this one but normally planes are registered in the country the airline is actually from.. but finding out now, some, like dhl, register planes in different countries as a regulations strategy.. i thought it was interesting and wanted to share...

This is mainly for the newer players who haven't done this before...

Use your Free Ticket and travel to Istanbul.. either airport works.. saw or ist.. whatever is availible to you... Use your Radar expander and when you have used up your 5 free photos, try to catch one more and you're gonna get choices... pick the 75 coins, unlimited catches for 30 minutes and just get to work!!! This airspace is extremely busy from flights traveling to and from Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East!! Stick to the planes that are leaving your radar because you will not have enough time to catch them all in half an hour.. so try your best to catch the ones that are leaving and work your way around the radar...

You'll unlock a ton of new airports, different countries, different airlines, some rare planes, and you'll be catching soooooo many planes non stop that you'll make your 75 coins right back even if you're not aiming for perfect catches... dont worry about the clouds.. just catch the planes... by the time you're done you are gonna have more coins than what you spent, you'll probably have your free ticket and radar expander back and you are just gonna have a blast playing in this air space... i cannot recomend it enough.. especially if you're new to the game...

Before you start.. see how many trophies you have. and when you finish after 30 minutes of non stop catches, dont be surprised if you got a couple trophies unlocked...

So i just saw this airport named BATMAN!!

Now, without cheating and looking it up.... Did the name of this airport have anything to do with the comic book super hero, or not?

I didnt have any clue until i looked it up but im wondering if yall had known about this airport and the reason behind it's name?

I'm glad there were no modern cars around... just these two in front of victorian homes... you could make this picture look like it's from the 50s and people would believe it...

Personally i think these are kind of dumb when they are scattered around like that.... you would have to use free tickets or catch anywheres just to get all 3 done just for what? Maybe another free ticket? Or a blue sky.... it's not worth it for me... i'm wondering if people actually try to get all 3 when they are like these....

This plane has been one of my dream catches since i started playing this game and i might not even need to use one of my catch anywheres lol... a lot of fire fighting aircraft in the air right now.. all those reds are fire planes... wonder what's up.... anyway.. go get it...

Since they are gonna retire the 400s, i was wondering how many of them i have, since they don't fly to California much anymore...i only have 3 400s and i only need one -8....
