Can the A3D run the Super Mario 64 hacks/mods that are too demanding to run on a real N64?

Apparently there are some mods/hacks of the N64 game Super Mario 64 that cannot be run on a real N64, not because of any inadvertent incompatibility, but because the creators of the mods/hacks specifically made them use more speed/memory/whatever than a real N64 can provide, and so you have to use a specific version of a specific emulator to play the roms/hacks.

Can the Analogue 3D play them? If so, then which ones are worth trying, please?

How can I download free podcasts please?

What is a good program (or method) for downloading free podcasts please? I want to download the Jonathan Creek Podcast Up The Creek, for example, and I can find it (via google) on various sites , but none of them allow you to download them for offline playback.

Is there a way to download podcasts, and ideally in bulk, please?

MAME on the N64?

A long time back, I discovered a version of MAME for the N64 It only has very basic games from the early 1980s, but it's great having Pac-Man, Space-Invaders, Mr. Do!, and the other prehistoric classics perfectly emulated on the N64.

You can read about it, and download it here:

https://n64squid.com/homebrew/roms/mame-64/

There might be a problem, though. The video on that page, showing all of the games being played has some games shown without sound. I've never played most of the games (I mostly played MAME on the PC or original XBox, and on the N64 I just stuck to my favourites, such as Mr. Do!, Pan-Man, Moon Cresta, etc, all of which have sound in the video) so I can't remember if the silent ones in the video were also silent on my N64, or if perhaps I had a different revision of this emulator that did provide sound for those games. And I'm away from home so I can't check.

But it makes me wonder if any later or fixed versions of MAME on the N64 were released? The above article mentions two available versions, but what are the differences between the two, and were there later versions? I would check them myself, but since I'm away from home (and so sans my Analogue 3D) I have to use emulators, and they all seem to crash with MAME64.

What is this game?

What is this game, please, and where can I read more about it? It does look interesting, and I assume it's not gotten much publicity, or I would probably have heard about it before. I always wanted a GTA game set in England (The getaway on the PS2 should have been great, but had so many bad design decisions that it ended up mostly a chore to play, unfortunately).

Looking to change my broadband provider?

I am currently with Virgin media for my broadband and extras, but my contract is about to run out, and I am hoping for something cheaper. My current contract with Virgin is for broadband, TV, mobile phone, and land-line phone for £68.00 per month (I don't know what they will want to bump it up to if I stay with them).

I don't watch TV, so I will be glad to cut that out from the deal, and only have:

Broadband,

Mobile phone,

and the land-line phone (and I might even get rid of the land-line, if it saves enough money) as I never use it and I only ever get cold calls from it anyway.

So what companies/packages would be good for me, please, and are there any broadband price comparison websites? What difficulties might would I face when changing from Virgin?

Edit: Should have mentioned, I am in Warrington, north-west England.

Is there a website that hosts games with good mods installed?

Is there a website or whatever that hosts games with lots of (good) mods pre-installed in the game? For example, the Elder Scrolls games (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skywind, etc) have countless mods for them, and you can frequently find lists containing many suggested mods to incorporate into your game's installation, to improve the gameplay, add new areas, improve the graphics and so on, but to create this yourself then you often have to download countless small files, and when installing them you may have to edit some files, or download required files that aren't mentioned in the instructions, etc. So I was wondering if there a site that lets you download the games with a given set of mods included, and so saves you the time and effort of setting everything up (and also saves you the frustration of having to try to troubleshoot if things don't work as intended).

It's not just the Elder Scrolls games, and not even just RPGs, it would be great to be able to be able to download the Grand Theft Auto games with a well judged (and as free of mod conflicts/incompatibilities) set of pre-installed mods, and any other games of any genres, as long as a decent set of mods do exist for a particular game.

Any such website wouldn't even have to host the original, commercial games. If you could just easily download an archive of the mods for a particular game, and then the archive was set up so that you just had to unzip it into the game's folder (the game having already been installed on your hard-drive before you started to download the mod archive) and either everything just worked then (the game and mods work fine), or at most you just had to do something simple (and clearly explained) to get the game and mods working properly.

Please note: I am NOT asking for any files, just asking if a resource for all-in-one carefully curated, tested and working, pre-installed mod packs exist. I'd be interested to know if such sites exist, even if the links can't be posted here.

What other real-life (as in real-humans, not cartoon characters) programs did comedy violence so well?

Was there any other real-life TV shows or films where they did the casual, cartoon-like violence anywhere near as well as Rik and Ade always managed to do? I can't recall any at all, not even TV programs where the actors try to copy Rik and Ade's style in order to make the new, non-Rik and Ade, programs funny and popular.

It almost seems like they invented the genre, perfected it, and it died when Rik did. A real pity.

I've not kept up with the trailers and leaks about GTA 6, so I was wondering what, if anything we know or at least heavily suspect will be in the game. Are we aware of any new game mechanics, any new things to make the game world more life-like and believable than the earlier games, etc?

Is there a web page listing the various released rom hacks?

Is there a web page listing the downloadable N64 rom hacks and N64 home-brew that people have made?

I know that there are sites like:

https://n64squid.com/

https://www.romhacking.net/?page=translations&status=&platform=27&languageid=12&order=&perpage=20&dir=&title=&search=Go

https://www.romhacking.net/?page=hacks&category=&platform=27&game=&order=&perpage=20&dir=&title=&search=Go

which do a good job, but are there more comprehensive lists available?

Thanks for any answers.
