What documentary would you like to see next on Netflix?

I’ve been listening to a particular podcast (Love Trapped) that has me riveted and I’m just praying that Netflix is in the works for a documentary….

What else would you like to see in the coming months in terms of documentaries? Any particular topics?
For me, I think there needs to be another really good documentary on Scientology
Also-
*Would love to see a documentary on those obsessed with corresponding with serial killers and why…Maybe there’s already a documentary like that.
* Really hoping there is another unsolved mysteries in the works.

Teeth health and Ozempic

I’ve been on Ozempic for about 2 years and I feel like my gum/teeth have taken a shift for the worse—bleeding gums, maybe enamel challenges. Before I full on blame Ozempic, wondered if anyone else had this issue.

Visiting Family and need a few business recommendations

We’re visiting family next week for a small reunion, and we’re planning to spend a beach day either on Madeira Beach or Redington Beach. I realize some of these may be classic “tourist questions,” so thank you in advance for your patience.

1. In your opinion, which beach is the better choice for two small families with teenagers (about eight people total) to settle in for the day?

2. Are there beach chair or umbrella rental services available on Madeira Beach or Redington Beach?

3. What are your favorite NYC‑style bagel and pizza spots in the area?

4. Do you have a favorite lunch place near the beach—and is it walkable?

5. Are there bike paths nearby? And is it safe to bike along Park Blvd to reach either beach?

6. In the evenings, what are some fun activities for teens in the area?

Barb and Maya.

Do you think Barb would have pursued custody of Maya after Nate’s death? I’m sure she was still dealing with PTSD from witnessing her cheating, murderous husband take his own life, but it crossed my mind during my most recent rewatch.

Psychopath Episode

Im relatively new to the podcast, but in one episode they mentioned a past episode focused on psychopathy — I think they even had someone described as a psychopath on the show? I may be getting the details wrong, but does anyone remember which episode that was and what it was actually about?

Did Nate or David go to college?

We know that Claire went to lack LAC Arts.
And we know that Rouster didn’t go to college… I just wondered. Just wondered if they went to college at any time.

Restaurants scenes in SFU

I’m heading to L.A., and a few restaurant scenes in Six Feet Under have always intrigued me. One was the Inn of the Seventh Ray that George mentions while hiking with Ruth — I looked it up and it’s actually real and looks incredibly cool. I honestly wasn’t sure some of these places still existed post-Covid. I think there was a sushi place in one scene that looked interesting. Hey LA fans, what are your thoughts?

Last night’s episode. Season 27 episode 21.

I just started the episode but I have to ask… If a boy is found bound and gagged in the back of a car, can the suspect be let go on fourth amendment right charges regardless? This seems absolutely unreal.

Can we expect a new series coming down the pike?

Summer vacation is coming! And like some of you out there , I’m about to take a very long road trip in a month, and I genuinely feel like I’ve exhausted just about every true crime series out there. 😂 The other day someone posted a list of 50 podcasts and I swear I’d already listened to almost all of them.
Does anyone have intel on new or upcoming pods? I tend to love the quirky, slightly-offbeat, borderline-true-crime type of podcasts — the weird investigative ones, strange disappearances, scams, cults, eccentric characters, small-town mysteries, etc. But honestly I’m open to anything compelling at this point.

I have AA fantasy…

I live in a relatively small town, so not long after I left AA, I inevitably ran into someone from the group at the grocery store. Of course, they asked — in that familiar condescending tone — how I was doing and reminded me that “everyone misses me.”

At the time, I wish I’d had the perfect response. These days, if it happens again, I’m tempted to turn the concern back around and ask how they’re doing still being involved in what often feels like a cult.

Just curious… has Dax ever explained why he seems so oddly fascinated with the topic of unplanned evacuations? I’m not coming from a place of criticism at all — I’m a relatively new listener — but I’ve noticed he somehow finds ways to bring it into a conversations even when it’s completely unrelated to the topic at hand. It almost feels like a running fixation or recurring bit at this point. But why?
