My bf found a sweet girl abandoned in a crate yesterday. Her fur was severely matted and she was covered in fleas. We groomed her the best we could and fed her.

We took her to the local animal shelter to see if she has a chip and go the foster to adopt route. She isn’t chipped and she is now on a 5 day spay hold. After five days, she will be our foster until we choose to adopt or someone else. The shelter pays for everything during the foster phase. Great program. They gave her shots and medication for us to take home. We plan to keep her. The shelter doesn’t know if she is spayed. They will take her in to spay and microchip next week.

She is doing much better today. Her personality is starting to show and she is sooo sweet. We think she might a shounzher mix. She is five lbs.

I just need some general advice and training tips. I am working on potty training now. She knows sit. I haven’t raised a dog since i was in high school(currently 26) so i am a little overwhelmed but happy she is on my life.

We plan to take her to paws in the morning to see if she is microchipped and hopefully get an exam in. I was wondering if you guys know of any groomer and organizations willing to offer any discounted services or advice with grooming. We are a little low on funds and know the grooming,vet care and medications will be a pretty penny. My bf has a really big heart and just couldn’t leave her. She is a small terrier. Maybe mixed with schaunzer. Thank you in advance.

I probably posted my thanks before but i really appreciate those who helped me and recommended material so i can learn more about being anti-diet. My iwl journey with Zep has been really rocky. This is the 1st time in life i have lost a significant amount of weight and i didn’t know how to approach this journey. I did have some guidance from a wonderful dietitian who helped me alot in the beginning and introduced me a little to an antidiet mindself. She never assigned a calorie goal and never suggested i restrict foods.

There was so many times i wanted to quit taking zep and give up but i am glad i didn’t. I will admit when i first heard about this sub i judged it because i still deep in diet culture and thought being antidiet was wrong but i decided to look more into it after counting calories caused me to develop bad habits. I regret judging it at first and i am very thankful for the person who linked this sub in the main zepbound reddit. My mind is so much clearer and i no longer stress about reaching a certain weight or stressing about plateaus.

I had the mute the main sub because some reason it was starting to trigger me. Some of the post was distressing.

I have a few subtypes of OCD. I am currently working on my responbilty ocd with my therapist. I have been able to resist compulsions. I still have a hard time accepting uncertainty but i am very happy with my progress so far. ☺️

I wanted to post my recent flying experience because i noticed some posts about anxiety about flying while plus size.

Current measurements

53 inch hips, size 2x/3x, 255 lbs.

I recently flew Delta for a cruise out of Miami May 24th with a return flight on May 29th. It was a an 1h50 min flight from Atlanta.

The experience wasn’t bad at all. I do hate how tight delta seats are compared to Southwest. I used to fly southwest to bwi frequently from Atlanta during 2020-2023 to see an ex 🙄. I was actually at a higher weight and waist size at the time and the seats were actually very comfy. I was around 300lbs at the time and my hip size was about 60 inches. I was on their older 737s. The last flight i flew on southwest was in 2023 and it was on their new 737 maxs and it was definitely a tighter fit but no one at southwest made me get an extra seat but this was before their recent changes.

Anyway back to Delta. From Atl to Mia, I flew on the A321 and it was definitely much more comfortable compared to the 757 i flew from Mia to Atl. I am little bit of a plane nerd so i pay attention to the type of plane i am flying on lol. Im going to do some research on the seat measurements and see if there is a difference between the seats on different planes in their fleet which i don’t doubt.

My bf is taller than me and weighs a little more. He sat in the middle and it was definitely a tight fit. He has broad shoulders and he was leaning towards me so he wouldn’t rub his shoulders against the person in the aisle seat. I would recommend maybe a window or aisle seat if you can. We definitely plan to save a little more to get the premium seating that are in rows of twos versus three for a more comfortable experience.

I didn’t need a seatbelt extender on my delta flight so i cannot comment on that experience but the flight attendants were really nice so don’t be afraid to ask. When i flew southwest, i requested one and the flight attendant was really nice and tried to be discreet.

I hope this can help you guys feel less anxious about flying.

I am on windows trying to install nickle menu so i can install koreader. When i download nickle menu, it is a compressed file. I move that file to the .kobo folder and nothing happens. Am i supposed to unzip it?

If you only use the korean formula for sunscreen, you can no longer order it from Olive Young. Olive Young recently opened a US store and forced those who order online in the US to switch to Olive Young US website . Because of this, they have to adhere to fda regulations and sunscreen shipped from olive young is now the US formula. I personally much prefer the Korean formula so this was disappointing to me. There are also other changes OY made that i am not happy with. I now mainly order my skincare from Yesstyle to get the korean formula. I wanted to let you guys know in case you don’t participate in the other skincare communities

Im poor so I don’t travel alot lol. I used to fly with only southwest from 2021-2024. I love southwest and had no complaints. But southwest is no longer appealing after their recent change.

I decided to do a cruise from Miami and decided to give Delta a try. Atl is my home airport so it was a no brainer to give them a try. When i flew southwest, i was only flying to BWI which is a southwest hub. I bought the delta main fare for this flight.

Boarding with Delta was definitely more pleasant and less chaotic compared to Southwest. Before the recent changes, Southwest had open seating so people were scrambling to board to get a good seat.

I plan to take my first international flight in two years and I definitely want to learn more about MDQs and how to get better status by then. I noticed that those with higher status can get through tsa much faster. My aunt has a Delta credit card so i plan to ask her for some tips. I know she gets the free bag perk and skyclub access.

The only thing i didn’t like about my flight was the seat size. I make flew on Southwest older 737s and the seats were way more comfortable and i was my biggest weight too during that time.

I definitely plan to upgrade to comfort or hopefully first class for my first international trip.

So Delta may have a new loyalist soon lol

Feel free to drop some tips and advice on MDQs and status. Im still working on my credit. It is much better so hopefully i will qualify for a good travel card soon. ☺️

Edit: i didnt think people would be hurt over my definition of poor. I had some help paying for my current cruise and i had to put in some ot. I recently got a promotion in dec and only make $40k. My net is probably $30k.

Since starting zep, i only crave sweets during my period. I don’t fight the craving lol. I give in because not even zep is a match for hormones.

The issue is everything i give into the craving, it is just meh now. I had an intense sweet craving today so i splurge on some cookies i used to love pre zep. I ate one and just instantly became made at myself for wasting money but the cookies tastes so meh.

Same with anything oreo flavored. I was an oero fiend pre zep. I had a taste for some oreos and it did not hit the same at all.

Also sweets are now more intense. I often find myself getting a sugar free option because how intense sweets taste to me now.

Labs are all good so nothing health wise going on.

I decided to get an ereader as i noticed that i am having a hard time reading books due to font size. It is hurting my eyes. I did some research and decided kobo would be the perfect ereader brand for me. I plan to purchase today but I cannot decide between the libra color and clara bw. I think the libra color size would be better for me eyes but i heard issues of the libra color screen not being as sharp as the BW. I am so conflicted.
