Wow this app is glitchy!
Newbie here: My app keeps freezing or even worse, make my entire phone crash. Is there a solve? Maybe I should only use data and not gym wifi?

Does anyone just use the app for workouts and not the nutrition part? I really don’t like obsessing over calorie loss, intake, etc. (big reason why I ditched the Apple Watch). I’ve only done a few workouts and like not having to plan those. Anyone in this same boat or am I just missing the point entirely?
Ok that might be a dramatic headline but let me explain: We have a 4 yr old 40lb male Bernedoodle and now a 7 month old 20 lb female puppy Bernedoodle. Most of the time, they're buddies. The adult male is on the chiller side and will play with her when she insists, but is good about establishing boundaries (warning growl). That said, our puppy is definitely going through a stubborn teenage phase and starting to call his bluff. One thing she's picked up, that's been bothering us the most, is she will lunge at the adult dog when he enters a room that she's already in. You could tell she's doing it in a playful way (I think) but it's making the adult dog nervous to even enter. We've been inserting ourselves in those situations - whether it's picking her up, putting her in a different room and/or giving him the space to enter freely. It helps bring the temperature down but her pee brain forgets and does it again. I'm getting worried that one of these days, our adult dog is going to snap and actually hurt her. But in general, I feel bad for him. What can I do to fix this so there's no resent or built up aggression?
I've slowly lost an appetite for my two friends: coffee & wine. I find that the glass of wine has to be exactly my taste preference, or the cup of coffee needs to be made perfectly, in order for me to care for it...let alone take a second (which is far and few these days). I'm not asking for advice, mostly just pouring one out for my former friends.
Philly Show: First concert I’ve ever walked out on and I’ve been looking forward to this for months. It’s been 12 years since I’ve seen them and I totally understand they’re not gonna sound exactly like they did a decade ago but WOOF that was so bad…not even the autotune was helping. Waste of $50.
This might be an odd one… I bought a city row home from an older couple and it definitely had a noticeable “old people” smell / perhaps even cigarette-adjacent. Sorry if that’s a rude thing to say. It was worse in one of the rooms but that even leaned more towards a mix of cigarettes and body odor. That room’s smell comes & goes, usually when we keep the door closed. We did our best to tackle it (painted walls, fans, different types of sprays). But I realized when I came back from vacation, the smell in the entire house returned. We kept our AC on so it wasn’t like air wasn’t circulating. Who would I even call about this? I’m so paranoid that this smell is something we have gotten used to and notice it more often when we’re gone for a bit, and perhaps our guests smell this and aren’t telling us. Ugh! Help!
Hi all - my nails and cuticles have finally healed after a few infections from doing my own gel. It kind of came out of nowhere since I’ve been doing my own press one & gel for years now. I took about a 2 month break and am wondering if I’d be ok to go the professional route (acrylic full set + gel). I want to assume yes since they use better products but last thing I want is a flair up after spending $100.
I’m trying to grow out my nails naturally but they keep snapping and I have no patience! I’m just a girl! lol SOS
I'm in South Philly and am looking at some open roles in Malvern, PA. I see the commute in morning & afternoon is typically 55-90 minutes each way. Does anyone do this trip weekly and could provide feedback? I know it's gonna suck either way but I don't want to pass up on a solid opportunity.
I work in-house for a large advisory firm that will pay for my secondary education. Personally, I don't think a second degree in communications is worth the time, so I'm considering a completely different major that would help me grow or pivot career tracks. I'm thinking about marketing or maybe something broader in business. I know professional experience is ultimately the best teacher, but since my company would cover cost, I figure it's worth exploring. Does anyone have recommendations for majors that pair well with a comms background but open new doors? Thank you!
Any spots that are on the quieter/cleaner side, ideally within 1.5 hours of Philly? Looking to spend the day alone, reading so not needing much! Thank you in advance.
EDIT: I live in South Philly so am looking to kill time near the Mann because driving back home while she’s at the concert and waiting doesn’t make sense. Sorry for the confusion!
Chauffeuring my mom to and from the Jack Johnson concert tonight at the mann so looking for things to do in that area to kill time from 6-10ish. It doesn’t appear there are many movie theaters and obviously won’t be drinking. Any fun activities that my husband and I could do together? Maybe just KoP mall?
Just went up to 450mg from 300mg and barely slept a lick last night. I took the medicine yesterday around 7am and only had one cup of coffee shortly after. I took TWO melatonin last night and still felt wide awake. Any advice on how to manage? Or how long this will last? My psychiatrist refilled my Xanax to take before bed if needed. I take Xanax before flights so it’s not a totally new drug but it feels odd to be taking it in this capacity. I just don’t want it to be a constant thing so would welcome alternative suggestions.
I've been doing my own press-ons with gel polish for a few years now. I decided to try Gel X myself after doing it at the nail salon (with no problem) and I had a pretty severe allergic reaction (cuticles peeling). I immediately removed them and took a break. Since then I've been trying different methods to essentially avoid curing my hands under lamp because I think that chemical process was the trigger. Last night, I put gel on press-ons and cured those, THEN glued to my nails. All of this product I've used in the past and haven't had an issue, but come to wake up this morning and I'm super itchy and my cuticles are peeling. My sense is that my allergy hasn't gone away and anything/everything is triggering it. It's unclear to me if it's the gel polish or the glue that's the problem? Has anyone had an experience of taking a long break and eventually being able to go back to gel polish or have they had to give up completely? I'm not asking for medical advice but more so asking for experience. I'm so sad and want to know if this is it!
Basically the title. I've been on lexapro for a few years now and just added wellbutrin to my dosage. I'm coming to realize that I don't know if I ever enjoyed being on lexapro, besides the anxiety reduction. Adding wellbutrin has been great from an energy perspective, lowering my appetite and curbing desire to drink as much. That said, my libido has plummetted even worse than it's been on lexapro. I'm wondering if lexapro is the problem and I should consider solo wellbutrin.
My little sister is seeing a show and I plan to pick up & drop her off. What’s the best spot to avoid traffic but still not make her walk far to and from. I’ve only ubered before. Thx
I do corporate technology PR and have been in conversations with executive leadership about possibly shifting to a customer facing role that's more ingrained in the business. I'm obviously feeling imposter syndrome given I don't have traditional business experience and am more of a creative background. Curious for this group's thoughts and if it's worth the jump.
I am in a creative brand role and am exploring opportunities to move to the business side. I'm still unclear exactly where I would fit but I'm curious if anyone has made a big transition like this at the firm and how it all worked out.
I've been on Lexapro for 2 years now and Welly was just added to my dosage. I started at 150mg and moved to 300mg (after 2 weeks) so in total it's been about a month and change now on the combination. I'm finding my body has settled into it: I have more energy, less irritability and lower appetite. That said, my libido has taken a really big hit. I have no desire to be intimate with my partner. It's not even him - I no longer get turned on by sex in TV shows or books nor do I want to masturbate. Should I wait it out and see if this changes or move up to 450mg/switch medications? I've seen varying posts about this so wanted to send a fresh post. Thank you!
I took about 8 months off from running due to a rolled ankle sprain and then about two months ago, give or take, I started back up again. I think the most I went was maaaybbbee 3 miles. All of a sudden I started to have knee pain and it almost felt like it was on the bone itself? Since then, I've just been doing the elliptical, upper body and lower body that isn't using knee strength (so no squats). I started to incorporate some PT workouts I've found online. For awhile, my knee pain would only hurt if I was doing something on my knee (like squats or getting up off the floor or bending down). But out of nowhere these past two days, it feels like it's gotten worse and to the point where I'm struggling to get up the stairs. My insurance is terrible and I really don't want to get an x-ray only for them to tell me I need PT (this is what I delt with for my sprained ankle and it was a waste of time). Any at-home advice to relieve this pain....besides the generic icing, healing gels, etc.? I'm desperate.
Update: All y'all are making it sound like this won't be a big deal so I will go ahead and trust y'all, and agree to Day plans Monday in Jersey. If I'm stuck in hour-long traffic, you WILL be hearing from me.
Super dumb question here but have to ask - Do we anticipate a lot of cars on the road or think a bulk of people will be training or flying from international? I’m trying to figure out if game days are very much a “don’t try to drive anywhere” vibe. Or perhaps there are better suitable times on those days? Understand this is a first for all of us so folks may not have all the answers.
