I was putting a new exhaust tip on my truck, and it suddenly occurred to me that the exhaust pipe was the same size as a set of old Harley pipes I had in the garage. Well you can guess what I did next. XD
I was shopping on eBay the other day and came across these. My plan is to turn the OEM blinkers into fog lights that turn on along with my KC hilights I plan to add later. All I did was splice into the blinker wires and connect a ground and they work great!

Hey everyone, I just got my fuel injectors in finally, and installed them. My issue is that during the time I was waiting on the injectors, my hoses I removed got jumbled and now I don't know what goes where. If anyone can send pictures of where their hoses go (where the inlet and outlet are located for each hose) that would be amazing. I included some of the fittings that I'm not sure where they go. Thank you guys!

One evening with a wire wheel can do wonders for these intakes. It doesn't translate over the difference on camera that well, but it's a night and day difference! The last photo is before. (Sorry, that's the only engine photo I have)
Hello everyone. I am putting on new fuel injectors today, and when I was tearing down my engine I noticed a few things. First off when I took off the aluminum intake manifold there was a bunch of gunk that keeps getting worse the closer it got to the engine. I took a picture of it when it gets to the engine block. Is this normal? Second when I removed the timing belt cover I had to take the upper radiator hose off. Underneath the part by the engine was all this gunk. I haven't had the radiator flushed since I got the truck, but have topped off the coollent once. Is this just something I wipe off and forget about, or do I need a full flush? It's only on that end of the hose, and I the rest of the coolent looks ok. Third, does my timing belt need replacing? It looks kind of cracked very slightly, but since I just bought a new gasket set and injectors I kind of hope I don't need to replace it yet. Thanks for your input!
Thanks for everyones suggestions in my last post. I've taken your advice and am replacing the fuel lines and components, oiling the spare tire mechanism, and putting fluid film on the frame along with getting the junk out of the inside rails. I'm going to be painting the rest of the frame under the cab later, and doing the same as mentioned here. Thanks again for your help!
Took the bed off so I could repaint the frame. While the bed is off does anyone have any recommendations for maintenance I should do it things I should look out for? I had to call a friend of a friend of a friend to help me get it off, so it's not coming off again soon. I noticed some rotted fuel lines, so I'll replace those, but not specifically seeing anything else. Thanks.
Hey y'all, I always drive with my windows down, and it gets kind of annoying to not have automatic windows for up and down on both sides. Does anyone know if it is possible to put in two automatic switches instead of the OEM only drivers side window switch? I'm needing to replace my switches anyways, so thought I would ask.
Hello everyone. When I bought my truck the side seat panel was broken in two on the drivers side. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a brand that matched the tan (not the grey in the picture, that's just for reference to what part I'm talking about) interior color pretty well. Also I lost two of the door screw cover plugs, and was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for those as well. Thanks for y'all's help!
I have noticed recently my truck hasn't been getting good fuel milage at all. Driving to Houston and back (roughly 80 miles round trip) I had to fill up 3 times. I thought maybe I had a misfire on a cylinder since I can smell unburnt gasoline when I was at a red light with the windows down. So, I pulled the spark plugs and checked to see if it looked like that. All are firing from what I could tell, but I used my bore scope and saw these flakes. After that I checked the oil thinking the cylinder rings might be failing and sure enough when I pulled the dipstick I could smell gas EXTREMELY strong. I have an oil leak at the oil cooler line, so that was most likely the gas smell at the red light. From that info can anyone tell me if that means it's the cylinder rings, or if it's another problem? Any info at all would be amazing since I have little experience with this kind of issue. Thanks a ton.
Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any advice or products they could recommend for how to dye the outer shell of my white Asus Ally to be a grey or black color. I don't want to use paint as it will wear off, but was thinking maybe something the would soak into the plastic and stain it? Any suggestions would be great.
Hello, I was wondering if anyone was in the Angleton Texas area that would be willing to help me out with a welding project. I have this old roll-bar I got out of my grandpas pasture that needs to be cut down to fit the width of my truck. Roughly 6 inches if I remember right, then needs to be re-welded together. Also the bottom mounting plates have rusted off and need to be replaced. Would anyone be willing to take this project on? Thanks in advance!
Hello, I have a Panasonic TRG-513T mini tv that I am wanting to see if I can hookup to modern input from a computer or VCR. It originally only had an antenna and no external input ports, as seen in the photo. There is a spot for an external antenna though, and I was wondering if anybody knew of an adapter that would work for that? It's a longshot, but without me knowing much about CRTs I thought I would ask. Thanks for your feedback!
Btw the socket on the right is for external power. it is portable and uses 6 D batteries, or can be plugged into an outlet.

Also, How do you make loading time not crazy long? It's 75 seconds to reload even with the ammo that close to the gun.
Hey everyone, I was thinking about upgrading my exhaust on my Taco since mine came equipped with that behemoth of a muffler due to the Cali equipment package. I wondered if anyone knew of a good muffler/exhaust setup that wouldn't break the bank and might sound good. I don't want a loud sound to it but a little louder than stock might be good. A little rumble on idle sort of thing. Would Glasspacks be the way to go or would that just basically be a straight pipe sound? I know basically nothing about exhaust, so any help is useful. Thanks!
