I couldnt think of a cool way to say the 8 holes...
I bought this new for Christmas when I was about 14 or 15 and just got into making chiptune and electro pop.
Hasn't been used massively if I'm honest, but I'll always keep it as a memory of my childhood and exploring my music taste!
I would never sell due to the sentimental value, but I'd be very interested to see what these fetch for today, I can't seem to see much on eBay
I really enjoy Hannah Fry and all the documentaries and podcasts she does, but I just cannot stand Michael Stevens. I think he is a really nice and cool guy, but there is just something about him which dominates the podcast as the series has grown.
Perhaps the first few episodes felt like a 50/50 split, but later down the line it's feeling like 70/30 as Hannah contributes less and less.
I find that when Hannah talks, you listen, when Michael talks, he just says loads and loads of things to be heard and I think it is the over enthusiasm and the fact that I think he is always doing 'a bit' all the time for viral clips and sound bites.

Hi,
New business here since Feb 2026 and so far I've done around 200 orders and I just cannot fathom Shopify's integrated postage rule...
I have selected their recommend discount rates, but if you use their postage plan with Royal Mail, you are only insured up to £75, which is redeemable as a shipping credit (I learnt the hard way after RM lost a parcel worth £300).
I can load the rates myself manually, but it is such a faff to manage. On top of that, there is no automatic calculation for shipping abroad which makes my life so difficult when there must be easy calculators around.
I feel like to get nice and easy shipping you have to pay a premium (as with everything in shopify which is so annoying!).
Any recommendations without having to pay or load it myself?
Hello,
I was testing some games I am selling and encountered an issue where my NBA JAM TE did not boot.
I have a Sega Mega Drive HD 1 & Mega CD 1
Resolution:
Unplug the HD Sega from the Mega CD OR
User another Mega Drive (non-hd)
Hope this helps people in the future.
The flights fell out twice, Mid-throw (not mid flight).
Not sure I can do it again
Hi,
As title suggests want to trade in my PS3 Super Slim 500gb. Do I need to provide the power and HDMI cable?
Also, the controller I am providing is 3rd party (understand id get the 'discount' price).
Loved Sonic R as a kid, would love to play it on the Dreamcast!
Hi guys, as title suggest. Im in the UK and would love a Nomad. I have seen some videos and photos of the screens and I believe they can be a bit blurry.
As the Nomad has had near enough 0 publicity outside of the US, this is quite new to me and I would love to get in on it!
I would prefer to use my original carts only but I was thinking the mods I need are:

Any others?

Hiya!
As title suggest, im torn between buying a RetroSix GBC which all the upgrades (sound, battery & screen) vs the Chromatic.
They're around the same price (£199). I have no preference, but I don't really want to get bogged down in politics around ModRetro, but overall I am wondering what peoples experiences are with the devices themselves?
Cheers,
Sam
I sold 2 video games for around £100 in total. I have sent it to Ireland where they live, but unfortunately they are stung with around 23% VAT import fee.
The customer is really annoyed, but as a small business i am not sure who is liable here? Is it me, as I should've realised, or the customer?
Thanks,
Sam
I was browsing rightmove and saw our old house is for sale.
We moved into a new build with nothing but bog! The garden soil was about 10cm above built on clay. Had huge drainage problems and nothing would grow, I had months of back and forth with the builder to fix it right and finally they did.
They ripped out our old garden and started again.
The 4 years we lived there, we did so much to the garden all by ourselves. Learning how to garden, look after plants, bushes, what works with what etc. Even landscaping such as extended the patio and building my first shed!
When we sold the house, the thing we know we'd miss the most is how much time, effort and love went into our garden.
We sold the house to a young couple with 2 / 3 dogs - we feared the worst! But when I looked on rightmove, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was all kept in-tact and even had been well kept.
All the plants, bushes and flowers were done by my wife and I. It's nice to see 7 years later what started as a blank canvas, looks somewhat respectable!
The thing I was most proud of was the Christmas tree we planted. We got it from Wilko's when we had our first christmas and we decided to plant it in the ground (it didnt do very well indoors as we bought it potted lol).
We bought the Christmas tree at around 30 - 50cm... 7 years later it's around 4m tall!
Today - Christmas tree in the middle! (We didn't add the fence, the new owners did)
The one thing I sincerely regret was leaving the shed. I would kill to have that shed back!
Anyways, since moving, we have built another garden which Im excited to share in a few days time when it is complete :)
I've done around 100 orders on my website now and I can whole heartily say that the postage is an absolute nightmare.
There are basic integrations with royal mail, however I've had to make two claims of £60+ value back and they were credited as "postage credit". I then found out that I'm also limited to £75 compensation.
I had an issue with evri where they didn't deliver the parcel. I raised a complaint 20 days after and said I was too late and they won't bother looking into it -that's £40 I lost out on
When I want to ship internationally, I need to load the rates manually... For each country...
Am I missing something here?
Help!!
Hi,
Does anyone recommend an online place where I can get around 10 / 15 t-shirts printed on the cheap? Business is just starting out but wanting to give some out with orders over '£x' price?
I have a few designs, but would also like to know if there are companies who can offer this as a service?
Cheers,
Sam
First of all. I understand that I might get a bit of hate towards this but ...
Me and my wife have a house that we have bought in the UK with around 90% mortgage left. However, we wish to buy a second property abroad (my wife is from Bulgaria and we go at least four or five times a year).
Since we bought the house, the value will have roughly increased around 30 to 40K and my understanding is that you can borrow against that up to like 90 or 95% LTV (I need to double check my understanding here).
But I think if we remortgage against the new value of our existing house, we could then afford a deposit for the second property in Bulgaria.
The property we want to buy in Bulgaria. we would rent out for 2 years whilst we pay off a short-term loan that was used to pay off the kitchen. After that we would then look to do Airbnb as we would want regular use of the apartment and probably for at least 2 months over the summer.
I believe the only way to buy a second property in general is to remortgage your existing property and then use that to put deposit down on a new property.
Is my understanding correct? And I would like to hear from other people who have done stuff like this in the past?
Understandably if we weren't able to rent it out, we could just barely afford both mortgages as the mortgage rate in Bulgaria is around 1.9 or 2.1%.
If we wait for 2 years time to put a deposit down the house price in Bulgaria would have probably gone up more than ours will have as growing quite rapidly over there. And if we don't buy now and rent it out then we're in the same situation as not buying it anyway (if that sort of makes sense?)
Finances:
We bought our house at 266, it's around 230 left on the mortgage. We estimate the value to be around 300 now (based on the comparables evidence (look on white move daily for our area for our type of house and we're in a quiet, sought after area).
Hey,
I run a small online retro games shop in the uk, www.sonicsam.co.uk which predominately focuses on Sega Mega Drive / Genesis games and consoles. I've been relatively successful since opening so I would like to explore other avenues.
I am thinking of potentially partnering with indie devs to distribute new games with physical carts, printed manuals & cases in the UK.
I would love to know if there's an active community with this and want to explore if this something that can be done / is a market for it?
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction?
Cheers,
Sam
