Ok guys I've been hearing the word " niche " a lot recently. I've never heard that word before a year. I simply don't understand what niche means at all .

Here are few sentences for context

1. 10/10 habits to improve your productivity but they get progressingly niche

2. Are there any niche places in my city ?

English is not my mother tongue so that's why I never heard of it before

I’ve been shortlisted for the J.P. Morgan Chase (JPMC) Data Analyst – Fresher placement drive in Hyderabad, and I have the written test tomorrow.

I’ve been preparing, but I’d really appreciate some advice from anyone who has gone through the JPMC fresher recruitment process, especially for the Data Analyst role.

A few things I’d love to know:

* What kind of questions/topics should I expect in the written test?

* How difficult is the test generally?

* Are there any topics I should prioritize tonight?

* What should I keep in mind during the test?

* If you’ve gone through the process recently, what do you wish you had known beforehand?

Hey guys so I got prime OL from tcs my initial joining was on may 28. But I couldn't join then due to my 8th sem results not being declared. So my joining was re scheduled. I'm waiting since then there have been no updates. Anyone in same situation as me. If you have any information please share it. Also did anyone get their new joining dates?

So there's a girl in my class no never studied or worked hard but she has a relative's friend in an MNC through that friend, she paid 50k + 2 months salary to him to get into that MNC through backdoor. She joined few days ago only her ctc is almost 9lpa. Most of the hardworking people in our class got way less package than her. What do you guys think, can I mail to the company saying there's been backdoor jobs like that ? She also has a very bad personality and now started to look down on many of her friends coz they are unemployed or earn less and makes jokes about it as well (I'm one of her friends)... I'm just sharing it here

TLDR : Classmate got a job through backdoor and now has a better package than everyone of us. And started to behave cocky

I heard a lot about this show from r/FromSeries subreddit. I liked From, and after S4 finale many posts were related to Lost saying how much From and Lost have similar plot because of the same writers working on both of them. And my favourite genre is mystery suspense thriller .

But the problems I have with Lost is

-125 episodes is too long for me , if it's annoying and boring for most part

And Potential spoiler is How MiY and BiW from "FROM" are similar to jacob and other guy idk his name. Will this spoiler affect my experience in Lost ?

I enjoy shows with good plot twists, mysteries that slowly unfold, and great characters.

I'd also prefer shows that have an aesthetically pleasing or nostalgic vibe something with great cinematography, atmosphere, or a memorable setting . Im okay with shows from 90s or early 2000s as well , Even anime recommendations are okay, but I've already watched decent amount of anime

I recently completed my BTech in CSE. I already have an offer letter from LTI Mindtree (now LTIMindtree), but it’s only around 4 LPA and I still don’t know when the joining will happen.

Meanwhile, my uncle referred me for a consultant role at a well-known MNC company. They mostly checked my resume and had a short discussion, and now they’re saying they can get me joined within 10 days with around 5.5 LPA package.

The thing confusing me is that I was asked to pay ₹50,000 because this is supposedly being done through an internal referral/backdoor process. They asked me to pay ₹30k first and the remaining ₹20k after getting my first salary.

There haven’t been any proper interview rounds or technical assessments yet.

Has anyone seen situations like this before?

Is it okay to proceed with this or should I be careful?
