Today’s Back&Bi Workout - Example Workout on How I built my back
My training is usually always circuit based - I did the following with 5 rounds of each circuit and all pull ups were weighted. My conditioning is top notch so I can’t stand just sitting around after a single set. Circuits also help keep heart rate up and allow me to keep my leanness.
Highly recommend you drop the volume to maybe around 2-3 rounds for each circuit as this is a ton of volume for the average gym goer.
Also if you can’t do weighted pull ups, do regular, if you can’t do regular then do assisted.
Circuit 1 —
• Wide-Grip Pull-Up 8
• Dumbbell Bent-Over Row 10 each arm
• Standing Barbell Curl 10–12
Circuit 2 —
• Supinated Chin-Up 8–10
• Seated Cable Row (neutral grip) 12
• EZ-Bar Preacher Curl 12
Circuit 3 —
• Neutral-Grip Pull-Up 6–8
• Straight-Arm Lat Pulldown 15
• Incline Dumbbell Curl 12
