Playing Howl's Moving Castle (bossa nova/chord melody style)

Playing a bossa / chord melody rendition of this awesome tune by Joe Hisaishi. I think it's actually called "Merry-Go-Round of Life" but it's from the movie Howl's Moving Castle.

Thanks for listening!

Pickguard will be staying off, thanks for the feedback! Here's how the guitar sounds (jazz chord melody style)

Appreciate all the suggestions and opinions about if this guitar (Ibanez AS253BM) looks better with/without pickguard. I'm going with no pickguard!

Here's a sound demo of the guitar. I'm playing the standard "All the things you are" (Jerome Kern).

Here's the post from earlier this week asking about pickguard opinions: https://www.reddit.com/r/guitars/comments/1tecpal/pickguard_off_or_on_2_photos/

Pickguard off or on? (2 photos)

Guitar is an Ibanez AS253BM. I think the pickguard is some sort of rosewood. The body is a burl maple, it’s dark red though can be hard to see that

Mental Health Volunteering/Part-Time opportunities? See description!

Hi, any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm in my early 30s and considering a career pivot into mental health/potentially becoming a therapist.

To better understand if that could be a good pivot for me and to get more experience, I'm trying to figure out ways to volunteer or work part-time in mental health settings. I don't have a masters or any licensure for mental health-related topics, but I do have a bachelor's in cognitive science.

From what I can tell, there seems to be opportunities with crisis text lines, so that could be something I look into. I'd love to hear from this subreddit about what else is out there in NYC (or fully remote if that's applicable). Overall, I'm trying to get a better sense about if a career in therapy could be for me, while also helping those in need through volunteering/part-time work. Thanks again!!

Look I understand that it’s competition we’re watching, and winning and losing is a part of it.

Having said that, I can’t help but feel sad for Snow! Especially watching him micro the shit out of his units in game 5 but still losing (obviously he was in a losing position but the micro was so intensive and impressive, and it just seemed like he was trying everything).

Dude keeps losing to top players. Idk, I’m not making excuses for him, but the feeling I felt after game 5 reminded me of how I felt a few seasons ago when Best’s amazing run ended with a loss to Soulkey in the final.

Anyway, kudos to Flash for grinding through the series, getting a win, and giving us one of the few TvTs that I’m actually excited about in the Ro4.

I hope Snow wins a title in the next few seasons!
