estou apaixonado pela franquia streets of rage.

os jogos são basicamente perfeitos, lindos, direção de arte incrivel, trilha sonora iconica e absurda, gameplay que sempre é engajante, sempre tendo coisas novas pra enfrentar. é incrivel.

Baldr Force EXE is such an underrated game. you can’t understand the story if you don’t know japanese, but the combat is so fun and stylish (sven though it’s very simple).

Test Drive LeMans looks amazing

and it still didn’t take the console to it’s limits.

what are some graphically impressive visual effects you guys have seen in dreamcast games?

i have a lot of things, but the one in the video is the most impressive for me. these water physics in Super Magnetic Neo are something you really don’t see much on the system, which is sad. it makes me sad that most games on the dreamcast lack in visual effects like this, we probably would’ve seen a lot of it if the system wasn’t “canceled” in 2000.

open world games that just allow me to explore freely without much text or narrative.

i've had a big trouble enjoying the few open world games i have played because i aways just want to explore, find pretty places or have fun with the gameplay, but most of these games aways focus more on a narrative, and when they do let me explore freely, the gameplay simply isn't fun and most of what i do is read texts and complete missions for random NPC's, or that stupid rockstar formula. i really just want to explore, have fun and immerse myself in a fantasy world. doesn't mean it has to have NO text or narrative, but just having gameplay and immersion first.

what games do you guys wish had been ported to the dreamcast?

JSRF is a bit hard, cause it’ a really big game, but planet harriers was actually planed to release on dreamcast and would be such an awesome and hardware pushing game for the system. gunvalkyrie would also probably be on the easier side.

what do you guys really think of the new designs?

i'm personally not very fond of it. i don't think they look ugly and i don't think they should've stayed the same either, is just that they look bland and unninteresting. one of my problems is that they don't feel alternative or creative, the designs of the first game (as you guys probably know) where inspired by 90s streetwear that was (and still is) popular in shibuya, where people experiment with different clothes, mixing various cultures. even though the first designs were simple, you could definitely see the experimentation in them, they look weird, stylish and most importantly, alternative. they are rebelious teenagers that are supposed to dress weird, but they just look like youtubers from 2016.

i definitely would like it more if they had stayed with the cartoony look of the original games too, but i think this anime artstyle can work if worked on in the right way.

of course we haven't seen the other characters, but it kinda makes me woried for how they'll all look.

i kinda failed at the end because i just started improvising in the middle of the loop, but i thought it was sick.
