[Spoiler 6.0 for the accessory] a pleasant surprise for my time at Fanfest landed in my inbox!
What a lovely gift from the devs! Very proud of myself I overcame the nerves to do the walk this year.

What stress awaits? And why does it cost £12 for a sandwich here??'

Fellow WoL's, if you have stickers, I will lovingly put them in here! I cannot wait for tomorrow.
If you see me either in my WoL cosplay or in my Free Company hoodie with a morbol on the back, under the name 'Danger Zone', please come and say hello!

Had a conversation with a dear friend last night and she closed out by saying I sounded like I'm doing good. When she said it I was like, you know what, I am good. I'm good.
I relocated here two years ago and I'm finally feeling settled. I drive places without using maps and feeling the anxiety of making a wrong turn. I walk into local businesses where I'm a regular and I see familiar faces. And I am seen. It feels good being recognized and greeted by name. It makes me feel like I'm not invisible.
While shopping yesterday I saw a brisket on sale. But I didn't buy it because I have a freezer full of stuff I can cook. I have everything I need for jambalaya, and black eyed peas, and catfish and tamales and more. And I'm a good enough cook where I will enjoy the process of making that stuff as much as I will enjoy eating it.
Life has its challenges. But in this moment I feel really fortunate. It may not last. Nothing ever does. I'm glad I have the ability to see this moment and be grateful for it.
Lunch is a braised bratwurst wrapped in a paper towel and heated up in the microwave and eaten laying in bed. I'm simple. Sometimes this is all I need.
EDIT: I am howling atm! I just got a notification from the Reddit Care center. Apparently someone has viewed my breakfast as a cry for help!!
Let me assure you al that the feelings expressed are genuine and I am fine! And my sausage is digesting nicely so don't give it a second thought!🤣🤣🤣

Chonka unwittingly became a model. He's pretty but he gets grumpy admitting it. 🤣
Mixed medium video.
Gelliplate image transfers (Amsterdam Acrylic printed on wet strength tissue paper), scanned and blended with Adobe premiere(Multiply ), and risograph scanned in on ripped paper.
Extra assets with procreate.
This took me about 3 weeks of printing, scanning and editing, and was my final project on my BA graphics course :)
Hello!
I'm a 30 something neurodivergent gamer who is doing a little personal project.
I have a wish to create a documentary video about players who were or are still around PWI, a VERY old Chinese MMORPG from my childhood.
I have extremely fond memories from my time of 2009-14, playing on the Dreamweaver server, and finding friends in my teen years, with some of them still playing after all this time. Hell, my old guild is somehow still going after I dropped by to recover my account for filming environments a few months back, one of them inspiring my dream to become a graphic designer and some of them helped me with my homework 😂.
But I don't see any or many videos on its history, and I want to try and document it the best I can. I understand that in hindsight it is a HEAVY pay to win game, and I remember a player called Keosev making a video about this year's ago - however, that video has long since been removed.
What I'm asking for is the following:
When did you start playing?
What's your fondest memories?
If you quit, did you come back? Or why did you quit in the first place?
I will be talking about the failed PWI reboot. If you were part of the excitement/player testing, I want to hear about why you wanted to play it initially, or why you think it went down the drain.
If I missed anything, I would love to hear open discussions about this. It will help me with building a script on what to write for the history of this game. Any updates to what's happened while I was gone would also be a boon.
And if you maybe have any footage to share, let me know!
Thanks in advance!

Im trying to find ONE particular cat video from the prehistoric days of youtube of a grey kitty (looks like a siberian?) on a pink blanket going absolutely apeshit getting its butt scratched. Its to show my partner and its really bothering me. Clip was about 30 seconds from memory and in some clips ive heard a laugh track behind it.
I can only be of assistance with two of the sounds it makes... one where it babbles like Yoshi, and the other half where it goes....
'LEOM GUM GUM GUM *snorts twice * aaaaaaaa'

My partner is autistic and HD is his game hyperfixation. He had a wonderful commissioner 3d print his gear for him! Pardon the crumpled up flag, it was crushed in storage and I didn't have time to get it ironed for the day of the con this was taken at.
He's usually very shy, but this suit gives him such a confident persona. He ended up meeting two other divers and doing 'patrols' with them around the con floor. Thank you to this game and it's community for bringing him joy!
