Akane’s kindness appreciation

Hello guys! I know we all know about Akane’s kindness but recently I have been seeing that she is unfortunately not highly favoured due to some aspects of her personality and some even dislike her for not being able to do something like cooking, which imo no one deserves to be hated for it. But yeah, Akane’s kindness does sometimes go under the radar. She has a good record of being kind and thoughtful, but my favourite moment ever was when she offered Sasuke to come and stay over to her home, when Kuno and Kodachi were being mean and disrespectful towards him. Sasuke was very appreciative, all the simple things to us is so much for him like sleeping under clean duvet, eating food along with the Tendo and even hanging out with them.

I really liked that Akane didn’t make one bit of a fuss with him and was really sensitive to his needs. So there you have it, if you absolutely despise Akane then I feel bad for you. She isn’t a flawless character, but a good one nonetheless.

Ranma top tier slapstick comedy appreciation.

I know I am stating the obvious however I never knew how good we had it. I tried getting into “funny” anime but most of the time it’s expected or a recycled formula used across anime. I really like that Ranma stood out and had its own unique spin. For me, Kuno, Ryoga, Mousse, Ranma and some filler characters are literally the best slapstick characters yet! I love how even if you the formula, they always deliver in every episode. I also think sometimes Shampoo and Kodachi are real good slap stickers too! This anime although popular still doesn’t get enough credit for its comedy in today’s climate. It still aged so well! I can go on and on, but it’s true!

Can the cast of Ranma survive feudal era of Inuyasha?

Hello guys, we are obviously in the know that Inuyasha murders Ranma Saotome clean. But I am saying that since I have the liberty to watch Ranma for the past month….I am starting to wonder are Ranma and the rest of the cast unable to survive the feudal era of Inuyasha. We know Lord Sesshomaru will eat all of them for lunch.

But yes, after watching how amazing their abilities are as martial artists and whatnot I can definitely see them easily surviving. I would have loved to see Akane doing her elbow punches to Inuyasha, so she “sits” him is well, really it would have been amazing. So yes, please tell me your wonderful thoughts.

Favourite gag

My all time favourite gag is where Ryoga’s sense of direction being god awful. It’s always so funny seeing episodes like that, I especially found it so funny with the episode where he dragged an old lady all over Japan fkr a week. 🤣🤣🤣 That poor woman won’t ask for directions from anyone ever again, so what’s your favourite gag in this anime?

It wasn’t slow burn romance, it was slow torture!

I have seen at least several slow burn romance throughout my life and OMG, the “slow burn” in the Inuyasha anime was slow torture! It was full blown torture of when the InuKag will move forward, will they kiss, will they open up more and so on. I have seen the manga as I got older and definitely not slow torture or full on slow burn, it was a developed loving bond. But….the anime….it was slow torture! I will still love it, but noooooooooo thank you! 🙏 😭😤

Rumiko fanart

I don’t know who made this, but credits to the intended artist and thank you for creating this wonderful art of Rumiko and her wonderful contribution to anime media. All the relevant characters are so beautifully placed in this wonderful art piece.

I noticed a trend of main couples where the male character has longer hair than the female character in the Rumic world.

I am posting this just before I forget. I am talking about main couples by Rumiko from various anime. Such as, Ranma’s hair is slightly longer than Akane’s, Inuyasha’s hair is infinitely longer than Kagome’s hair and Mao’s hair is longer than Nanoka’s. I am not sure if it’s intentional, but I find it super cool having the male characters having longer hair than their female lovers, it’s especially really done nicely with Inuyasha and Kagome. Long haired men ftw!

Ranma’s dad is really toxic.

I tried liking him and watched over 100 episodes, yes I do find him funny sometimes, but that’s only because he is with Akane’s dad whom is a lot better. I mean, he’s such a massive gaslighter to Ranma and literally blames him for a lot of things and barely self reflects. Maybe, since Ranma himself is my favourite character I get visibly annoyed by the dad and now Hopposai is another story for another day, lol. I am sorry, I can’t get myself to like that guy his gaslighting is kind of trauma inducing I must admit, haha.

When one of your favourite characters only appeared in one episode

I am sure everyone here has experienced this once, for me it’s the character Higuma Torajiro. He arrives in episode 73, as the youthful teacher that encourages students to pursue their passions. I really loved that guy instantly and I always wished we had a random teacher drop in and tell us the exact same things he has. I am not usually into super positive characters, but he was done so well and I loved how insanely enthusiastic he was, but also was so interactive with the students. His quirks were so endearing, so it never bothered me. So yeah, I wish he appeared more but alas it was good whilst it lasted.

Is Ranma super attractive or does he have lots of charisma?

I know it’s up to tastes of each individual, but we have girls flocking to Ranma like no tomorrow and he is cute in the 90s animation in the earlier episodes….but yeah does he happen to have extreme amounts of charisma, since to me he is like a generic kind of cute or is it because his expertise (at least for his age) in martial arts gives him more edge to his looks? Just saying, some people are super attractive without question but with others I scratch my head sometimes and Ranma is one of them. Thanks.
