Happy B day Stella my favourite Winx fairy.

I watched this show 20 years ago, back when I was a preteen. I remember loving Stella, Flora and Bloom. Stella is my favourite as she is a reasonably complex character for a kids show mind you. She is incredibly beautiful, talented, fashionable and so strong mentally and power wise is well. Her story lines back in the day were so fun and I liked how she can be realistic and admits she has everyday issues like we do. So happy birthday Stella, may this day full of extra sunshine.

The superior, majestic, epicness, absolutely fantastic OST themes of old Ranma is forever amazing.

I have used so many words to describe the absolute amazingness of the old anime music. The Ranma OST back then reminds how damn good anime used to be. The battle themes really showcased how amazing the joy and epicness anime used to be, including the infamous Ranma. I hope you enjoy this video and motivates to watch Ranma again! https://youtu.be/JGd5F0tCke8?si=uNJXK1qoXfP\_1RBW

I always loved it when Inuyasha would twitch his ears, it was super cute.

It’s like those rare things in the anime, but when it happened it was super cute! It’s so adorable and so cute! Like a fluffy demon.

Human Inuyasha and Kagome looked amazing together in episode 58.

I mean, I know episode 13 existed but this OMG episode 58 they looked insanely good together and looked like a proper teen couple in love. They literally looked like an anime poster couple for looking and feeling the vibe of them being a great couple. Inuyasha looked super young in this episode, which greatly compliments Kagome’s simple and innocent appearance. I feel photos 1-3 they looked like a hot and cute couple with insane chemistry radiating hard over the screen. I swear both looked 100% like they were made for each other in episode 58.

This was a good episode, since I loved how they looked together. Like young love on an intense adventure!

Lord Sesshomaru and his group should have made MORE appearances in the OG anime!

I am aware this has been said loads of times, but I mean it. An episode of HIM and his group just having fun would have been great! Also, just 3-5 mins of him and his group strolling around doing anything even if he wasn’t driving the plot. His presence and beauty was completely mythical and absolutely magnificent and its absolute peak in the original anime. We fans deserved to see his beauty every 5-6 episodes, being blessed by his beauty and also see more beautiful interactions with Rin and Jaken. I am sure this would have made the anime even more enjoyable.

I wish Naraku didn’t have tentacles and the red eye on his chest.

I know it’s a simple thing for a post, I also know at the end of the day he is an accumulation of demons more than anything. Like seriously, why the tentacles of all things? It almost turned off his attractiveness and the red eye on his chest was kinda gross to look at.

Maybe it was to signify how grotesque he truly is, if that is the case then that seems like a good way to protray his evil and disgusting thought process….but why the tentacles! 😩😩😤😤😖😖😭😭

For me the Ranma dub cast in 1989-1990 was top tier.

I know this has been said loads of times, but whenever I rewatch it I am always amazed how nearly all the characters got the correct voice! I especially like Akane, Ranma and Ryoga’s voices! I also liked Ukyo and Tatewaki Kuno’s is well, but like I said all are amazing! I don’t know if they actually dubbed in the early 90s, but I still think it was amazingly done. It’s one of my favourite dub casts in anime. That dub cast will forever reside in my happiness!

I always loved the way Inuyasha put his hand on Kagome’s head.

I mean it gives out the possessiveness and caring side at the same time! It’s also gives out a youthful vibe is well to their relationship. Like yeah! Times like that I wish Kagome had longer hair so it would look even cooler! But nonetheless, those hand gestures from him is romantic, mildly possessive and protective! OMG! I know it’s true!

Seven Bandits arc was good, but I wish it was animated with the old animation style.

Hello everyone, I will probably get mixed comments about what I am about to say. So the animation changed around episode 99, I think they used digital style. So everyone looks more weirder and too bright for my liking. I really did enjoy the arc and I can see why this is considered the best. But for me, the earlier Inuyasha was better due to its animation style, the atmosphere, the mythical Japanese folklore vibes and everyone looked heaps better and looked more otherworldly.

I was thinking for sometime on why that arc never gave me the same satisfaction and it was the change of animation! How I wish the Band of seven arc was animated with the older style, I think the action and every new character would have looked more amazing, It’s my honest opinion.

Ranma main character appreciation post.

Everyone is getting an appreciation and love, but hardly anyone is making a thread on the MAIN character who we love and adore. Our main character is so loveable and adorable in many ways! He is cute, very talented martial artists, very funny and has great sense of slapstick comedy. He is so fun and magnetic! He is actually pretty level headed and only acts like a Tsundere when provoked or accused of something.

I know female Ranma gets more love, but for me it’s the male version. I mean whichever floats your boat I guess.
He definitely has the looks to attract ladies and has great chemistry with nearly all the ladies involved, I really enjoyed the OG sub and dub version of this anime in general, so it’s so fun for me in both ways to enjoy Ranma’s character as the fullest.

Rumiko was showing off when creating Inuyasha characters.

Rumiko does get credit for creating attractive characters, but she was showing off so hard when creating Inuyasha characters. To me this anime has the most beautiful anime characters I have ever seen. Such a massive amount of beautiful, cute and hot characters in one anime! Rumiko must have woke up one day and all these ideas just sprung to her like no other! Time for you to all enjoy it all.

The photos are not in order of character but below are
Sesshomaru, Kikyo, Inuyasha, Sango, Kagura, Yura of the demon hair, a random female demon killed by Heiten, Koga, Bankotsu, Naraku, Midoriko, Sesshomaru’s mum and Inuyasha’s mum are the most attractive characters.

The hot girl of the Inuyasha anime, Sango the demon slayer.

Now before you throw out that Kagura, Kikyo, Yura of the demon hair etc etc are hotter let me remind you that Sango most definitely fits the hot girl trope the most due to her well shaped figure and athletic traits that greatly attributes to her as a demon slayer. Her figure is well proportioned and her mid length hair in a pony tail gives out “hot warrior girl” vibes.

She has a cute, but also the hot face is well and like I said her figure is out of question. She also has the main character vibes and has aesthetic easy on the eyes. Sango’s looks are really versatile and can fit into any aesthetic, you can’t go wrong with her beauty.

Oh hail Sango, the definitive hot girl of Inuyasha!

The most loveable and perfect Tsundere character is Inuyasha.

I am aware Tsundere are supposed to be loud and brash whilst secretly having a sweet personality, however most Tsunderes whether male or female (more on this side) really get on my nerves.

With Inuyasha it’s different, he really is very loveable and has that cute bad boy charm (thanks to Richard Ian Cox I love you forever) with feudal era aesthetics. He also has so many funny and cute moments that are very easy on the eye and he has epically funny scenes that most anime characters would envy for!

His angry outburst and loud outburst are quite hilarious and so cute! For me he is the best Tsundere character ever!

I will admit some of the pictures aren’t really flattering to his cuteness, but I chose a different set of pics for the purpose of this thread. He is still the best Tsundere ever!

The absolute appreciation of Naraku as a villain.

Naraku really really kept the story Inuyasha so alive. Because he was so hate worthy and such a story driver at times. His presence is so unique, so intense and so vast he gives all the main cast each a different colour of hate. He made Inuyasha and Kikyo hate each other, he took out Sango’s clan and took her brother as his lapdog and finally gave Miroku a generational curse.

He really was a compelling villain, I realised how dead the story is without his presence, without his essence, without his hate, without his evil. He really was so damn good. I am not out here saying he is the best villain, but his situation is unique that he was the main villain all
the way through to the end and yes I so wish he would show up more here and there, I still also enjoy the mystery for not being there is well.

I sometimes wished he would get his hands really dirty. But in the Final Act in the last 4 episodes he was giving a massive challenge to them all and it was really good to see him pull his weight. As a matter of fact, for me this series died the moment Naraku and the Jewel went out existence.

P.S Paul Dobson is perfection as Naraku.

Ryoga Hibiki appreciation post. He is cute, funny, silly, badass and very entertaining!

Ryoga gets a mixed reviews from the fanbase, but I think he really brings some of the most entertaining moments especially in the OG version. His gag of not knowing any sense of direction was always soooooooo funny! It led a few characters like the old lady and Ukyo in a blunder of funny moments! He is badass and really knows how to throw it down. I also liked his interactions with female Ranma and his cute moments with Akane!

Ryoga is totally fun to me and really is a full on entertaining character! Cheers to his craziness.

Kanna doesn’t get enough sympathy and she truly deserves a better outcome.

Kagura and Kikyo get ample of sympathy for all the right reasons, I feel Kanna really gets lost somewhere in the sea. Whilst it’s true she was loyal to Naraku, she also had love for Kagura and lacked any emotion, Kanna deserved a better life because she was also a good hearted child and was really the bonafide puppet. I believe episode 11 in the Final Act where she died, it was truly sad seeing her break to pieces.

Kanna being broken piece by piece was really sad and imo was well executed by the anime and Rumiko’s send off to this sweet, innocent character. I liked how even Inuyasha was showing empathy towards her during her final moments.

Yes, she had no emotions but we as humans see her as a delicate, innocent child that is being used as a tissue. I know somewhere in her heart she yearned for Kagura after she became the wind….it was sad to see her pick up Kagura’s fan as a reminder for what Naraku did to her.

I always felt “oh she doesn’t feel pain, she doesn’t feel emotions” was an excuse to do whatever you like to her and get away with it without guilt. Like Kagura and Kikyo, Kanna also deserves just as much as sympathy and love from the fandom, as well as having a better life.

When I saw this scene, I could feel the extreme tension and awkwardness.

I know every single person in this fandom felt it like no other. Like I was thinking please please please Rumiko don’t make this so bad for us! It’s like damn, I would
hate to be any of them in this boxed situation.

u/Etherealoverempress — 20 days ago

Rumiko’s best character design the one and only Lord Sesshomaru

Sesshomaru is supernaturally beautiful, graceful, elegant, gorgeous, out of this world beauty, so poised, so majestic and so much royalty. Not to mention, so strong, so effortlessly strong and beautiful and effortlessly mythical, enchanting, otherworldly, mystical, intense and so deadly! He gives even the most graceful of women a run for their money. He is the most beautiful man fiction or non-fiction I have ever seen. He has the best hair animation ever, only matched by Kikyo. His beauty is totally ethereal, handsome, colour pallet is perfection and he makes no room for mistakes.

Sesshomaru is perfection of the highest order thanks to Rumiko.

Love or hate Shippo this moment was peak!

OMG, when I saw Shippo say who was gonna console Kagome I was like YEEEESS, YOU TELL THAT DOG HOW IT’S DONE! I adore Shippo as a character, yes I wish his abilities were expanded upon and he had the potential to be more useful and even use his techniques to ambush demons, this moment right there is the ultimate Shippo moment. In fact the biggest Shippo hater loves this moment because it’s damn good.
