Gabby and Lindsay fall out?

I love Lindsay but is she not friends with Gabby anymore? They were so close! She didn’t attend Lindsay’s 40th bday dinner (even Danielle did!)

Looking for private training

My son is looking to up his game and wants to work with a college or HS student for training. I live near a D1 school and on the roster, they link to all the players' social media. Is it weird/creepy to DM them on instagram and ask if they do private training?

AIO Parents favor sibling blatantly

Went for dinner with family last night. I (36f) and sister (40f) with our respective partners and our parents. My parents go here a lot and know the owner a little.

For context, My husband own a successful business and I am a medical doctor.

We work very hard, and are both entirely self made and have two amazing kids. My sister and her boyfriend are both correction officers and have done well. The restaurant owner comes over and my mom says this is Susie my daughter and John my son in law. She then introduces sister and her bf with job titles. When she didn’t get any fanfare, she Then proceeds to jump up, grab him by the arm and drag him to other end of the table where she reintroduces my sister, her bf, their job titles, where they work. Spent 4-5 minutes talking about them to this guy.

AIO to be annoyed at the introductions and how lackluster ours were? Kids were ignored. Husband and I were just kind of there. No fanfare.

Edited to add there’s no issue with sister or her bf. They are both very successful at their jobs and lovely people.

Age appropriate punishment for 8yo

Can I please have a suggestion for an appropriate consequence for an 8 year old who talks back and is nasty? This usually occurs in front of family or friends. It’s embarrassing. Later consequences seem to lose luster

Mismatch on Maggie’s childhood

Didn’t Maggie leave Sullivan’s Crossing when she was like 7 or 8 and grow up in Boston with her mom and stepdad? The show also makes it seem like she barely went back until she was an adult/neurosurgeon.
So why is she SO close with Frank and Edna? They act like they’ve been part of her life forever, but wouldn’t they basically just be people she knew as a little kid?
Did I miss something where they established that Maggie regularly visited the Crossing growing up? The timeline makes no sense to me.

Stop trying to make 30a happen

Okay but actually, can we talk about how influencers completely scammed everyone into thinking "30A" is some luxury paradise? Like, it’s literally just a highway number. You are not in the South of France. You are in the dirty Panhandle of Florida.

A few years ago, a bunch of influencers got paid to go down there, and act like it was heaven on earth. They posted all these highly filtered TikToks, and now regular families are out there spending actual thousands of dollars pretending it’s some elite getaway. It’s the ultimate marketing scam because if you take away the filter, you remember exactly where you are.

First of all, the weather is rank. It’s not just warm, it’s like an oppressive, swampy humidity where you feel like you’re literally breathing hot soup the second you step outside. And the ocean is a nightmare.

Also the Gulf Coast constantly gets hit with toxic red tide blooms that kill off a ton of fish and make the air hurt to breathe. Plus, the health department is always issuing warnings about actual flesh-eating bacteria in the warm, gross water. People try so hard to rebrand it to sound fancy, but everyone knows it’s historically just called the Redneck Riviera.
Stop letting old paid ad campaigns
trick you into thinking a crowded highway in a Florida swamp is a luxury vacation. You’re literally paying five-star prices to sit in the dirty panhandle.

Kids can’t get along for the life of me

My kids are 7 and 10 and they cannot get along for the life of them. The little one is super sensitive to losing or failing and the big one has zero patience. Both boys. They can’t last for five minutes playing anything together. They can’t even agree on a movie or show to watch! What am I doing wrong?
Tonight I told them they have to sleep in the same room because I can’t do it anymore. They have to learn to get along. It’s constant bickering and physical fighting!!!!

What’s wrong with Tracy

I’m half way through the season and I’m getting creep vibes with Ben and Tracy. Like why is Ben so obsessed with her? It’s so weird. Getting flowers in the attic vibes

Zero chemistry

The romantic tension between Maggie and Cal on Sullivan’s Crossing has all the warmth of an arctic blizzard.
They have the absolute sub-zero chemistry of two polite strangers sharing a quiet elevator ride. Every time they share a "longing" look, it just feels like bad acting

Whitney is exhausting

I have literally never seen a single episode of The Bachelor so I have zero context for who Whitney was before this. But watching her on In The City is giving me major whiplash.
She literally cries at the drop of a hat. Her boyfriend made a completely harmless, passing comment that she needs "minions" to help her unpack her stuff, and she instantly broke down weeping because she "doesn't have any friends" in NYC yet. Like... what is wrong with this girl? Why is she crying so easily over a joke about moving boxes?!

Does she happen to know Ashley I. from RHORI? Because they must be operating on the same frequency. Ashley I. cries every 13 seconds over absolutely nothing (she literally cried on RHORI just because two other women got into a fight), and it is equally as boring to watch.
Are we supposed to find this relatable, or is it just bad reality TV? Because watching grown adults sob over cardboard boxes and other people's drama is not the entertainment I signed up for. Also, they are both reality show veterans so are they playing it up for cameras or are they really just this sensitive?

Amanda doesn’t know who she is

Amanda is like the character from *Runaway Bride*. Remember the scene in the movie where Julia Roberts’ character realizes she doesn’t actually know how she likes her eggs because her order changes based on whichever man she’s dating? That is Amanda, except it’s her entire personality, and it applies to whoever she happens to be close with at the time.

Right now minute she’s hitting up divey college bars with West.

Last summer she’s dressing up in a crazy costume at the apres ski party to mirror Ciara.

Earlier and suddenly she's morphing into a total bedbug to perfectly match Paige.

And when she first started dating Kyle (which if we all remember she like threw herself at him when he started filming the show) she was matching his energy.

It’s a total glitch in the matrix when Ciara calls her out with a simple "I thought you hated going out," and Amanda just blankly stares, completely unable to process or respond because her current software update hasn't loaded that answer yet.

She was a mean girl in high school, part of a clique. She was in a sorority in college and supposedly morphed into the aesthetic of the girls she was closest to there.

How many versions of Amanda will there be?

Outfits at Rich’s show

Can we talk about how Ashley was in a full length gown and Monique wore jeans?
