Hi - I am interested in getting my kid set up for backyard baseball. We do not use any gaming consoles at home and have never played any games on the computer. But the NYT article made it sound like this was a decent game for little kids, and they have been begging for me to let them play something on the computer. Is there anything specific you recommend for Steam? We have a MAC computer. Any particular joystick or controller you would recommend buying? We have OLD playstation controllers but Im guessing those are not going to work ha. Thank you!

For years we have loved the kids LLBean rash guards. They are very high quality, not floppy or thin, retain their shape and last through multiple kids despite my kids wearing them daily in the summer. I was very disappointed to see that LLbean is discontinuing kids swim wear. What are your suggestions for alternative? Every other brand we’ve tried is not thick, and stretches out really quickly. My favorite type of tortilla is carried at one local WF but not another. Does anyone know how to successfully request the store closest to us adds it to the regular rotation? I have emailed the store manager, emailed corporate, the grocery rep. One person ordered it as a one time thing, and it sold quickly. the tortillas are super popular at the other store, and I’m annoyed that I have to go out of my way to go to a different store to buy them. The newer/closer store has this expensive masienda brand thatnjust sit on the shelf. thank you!

Last week I had the triple threat of tons of stress, beginning constipation and what in hindsight was a greasy meal. By night I could feel my gut inflating.

I immediately went on a clear liquids and bone broth for 2.5 days then slowly added a bite of egg here, a little bit of shredded chicken there, some crackers. And 5 days after the pain started I felt great and had a biscuit (figure low residue?) a poached egg with sauteed mushrooms, and some chocolate. Idiotic, I know… Immediately my gut let me know I had stepped it up way too fast. Back to liquids I go. Hoping to avoid the ED and the antibiotics.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to step it up very gradually? Like 3 days of clear liquids, 2 days of yogurt, then 2 days of saltines, then eggs or whatever and keep going as I feel good? It helps me to have a plan to stick to. Thank you and please send good vibes 🙏🏽

I’m in the process of learning how to wear my hair wavy. it’s fine, thin, wavy hair with low porosity. I have had moderate success, trying different routines.

When I wear my hair straight, I style it with a round brush in a way where the hair is somehow falling back and it’s easy to tuck behind my ears if needed. With wavy it just ends up flat on top, and the side pieces sort of fall towards my face, even when I’ve clumped the curls away from my face. I end up wearing half up, half down with a small clip. Not bad per se, but it feels slightly kid like. The part that’s down is the part that’s closer to my neck, which is a curlier part anyways. But I would love to learn what I’m doing wrong or what I could do better. Thank you!

My son is younger than 8 and has always peed sitting down. That’s just how he learned. At home it's no problem, but he does the same thing in public restrooms, which frankly grosses me out. I've encouraged him to try standing, but no luck so far.

The main issue seems to be fear of making a mess / peeing on himself. I'm a single mom so I'm figuring this out on my own. Has anyone navigated this without a dad or other male in the mix?

I was thinking about setting up a low-stakes practice spot outside — maybe an old potty chair or just aiming at a patch of grass — where a miss isn't the end of the world. Has anyone tried something like that? Any other tips or tricks that actually worked?

I ordered it and the smell is not good (for me). people seem to , but to me it smells like perm chemicals. is there an alternative for something that will hold softly (ie no Big Crunch / cast)? thanks!

Hi - we have hard water. weve been using 365 sport for all our darks and brights, and even though we had to use more it worked well. My last bottle is gone. Was about to go to Tide liquid plus Febu, but can’t get that till mid June. What else should I try to clean clothes well without OBA’s? The one time I used the tide powder with the oba’s in brights it was very noticeable. thanks!
