🎬 Looking for a Producer / Supporters for a Telugu Short Film

We’re not asking someone to simply fund our film. We’re looking for people who can help us make it.

I’m currently developing a Telugu short film - a character-driven story about love, relationships, choices, and everything two people struggle to say to each other.

We’re aiming to create something emotionally honest, visually cinematic, and strong enough for a festival run.

For an independent film, support doesn’t always have to come in the form of money. Sometimes, the right location, camera, light, or connection can make the difference.

What we’re looking for:

🎬 Producer / Co-producer / Investors
🤝 Crowdfunding support
🏠 Indoor locations / houses
☕ Cafés & other locations
🎥 Camera & lenses
💡 Lights & filmmaking equipment
🎨 Props / production design
👗 Costumes & styling
🚗 Transport & other production support

If you can contribute a resource, a location, equipment, a connection, or financial support, you can genuinely become a part of this film.

We’ll be happy to share the script, story, budget breakdown, production plan, and our vision with anyone interested.

You don’t need to fund the entire film to support it. Even one location, one camera, one light, or one introduction could help us bring this story to life.

If you’re interested in independent Telugu cinema and want to be part of the journey, DM me.

I’ll share a few of my previous works in the comments for anyone who’d like to see my work.

Let’s make something meaningful with what we have. 🎬❤️

Looking for a Producer | Telugu Love Story Short Film | ₹7–10L Budget | Festival & Awards Run

I’m developing a love story that is less about romance and more about everything two people struggle to say to each other.

I’m looking for a producer who wants to come on board and help us make this into a film with a serious festival and awards run.

Budget: ₹7–10 Lakhs
Language: Telugu
Genre: Love / Drama
Format: Short Film
Primary Goal: Film festivals & awards

The story is emotionally driven, intimate and grounded in the complexities of two people trying to understand each other. We want to make something that stays with you even after the film ends.

I already have a great creative team coming together, and we’re approaching this with a strong focus on writing, performances, cinematography, sound and overall craft.

I’m intentionally not posting my previous works here. If you’re genuinely interested, I’ll personally share my work, script, vision and complete team details. I’d rather share those directly with someone who is seriously considering collaborating on the project.

I’m not looking for someone who simply wants to fund a short film. I’m looking for a producer who believes in the story, trusts the team, and wants to build something worth putting on screen.

If this resonates with you, DM me. Happy to share more details personally. 🎥

Konni kathalu raayalem… jarugutayi. ❤️

Hey everyone! ❤️

I’m 27M from Hyderabad. I recently left my software career to pursue filmmaking full-time, and honestly, it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made.

I love movies, storytelling, meaningful conversations, spontaneous drives, exploring new places, and those random late-night conversations that somehow start with a film and end with life. 😄

I’d describe myself as calm, curious, and someone who values honesty, kindness, loyalty, and a good sense of humor. I’m not really into clubbing or casual hookups**,** I’d rather build something genuine and see where it naturally goes.

A little about me:

  • Age: 27
  • Height: 5'8"
  • Location: Hyderabad
  • Work: Filmmaking 🎬
  • Languages: Telugu, Hindi, English
  • Diet: Non-vegetarian
  • Smoking/Drinking: Rarely / socially
  • LDR: Open to it, if there’s genuine connection and honesty
  • Religion: Hindu
  • Dating outside religion: No

I’m not looking for someone perfect because I’m definitely not perfect either. Just someone kind, honest, loyal, emotionally mature, and comfortable being herself.

Maybe we’ll just exchange a few messages. Maybe we’ll become good friends. Or maybe, someday, this will become our “how we met” story. ❤️

Either way, if you think we might get along, say hi. 🙂

27M. Never been in a relationship, but I'm writing a love story for a short film

I've never experienced love or a breakup myself, so I don't want to rely on cliches.

If you're comfortable sharing, what was your relationship like? What made you fall in love? What eventually led to the breakup? Was there a moment you knew it was over?

It doesn't have to be dramatic. Sometimes the smallest moments are the most meaningful.

I'm looking for real stories and emotions to help me write characters that feel authentic. Feel free to share as much or as little as you're comfortable with.

my fav telugu films

  1. Ye Maaya Chesave
  2. Hi Nanna
  3. Anand
  4. Fidaa
  5. Majili

These films tend to focus on emotional honesty, vulnerability, and relationship dynamics rather than just romantic gestures.

Somewhere out there is my favorite conversation. I just haven't had it yet.

Hello! 👋

I'm 27M from Hyderabad.

A few years ago, I left my software career to pursue filmmaking full-time. It was a scary decision, but it's still one of the best choices I've made. I love telling stories, watching films, going on spontaneous drives, exploring new places, and having the kind of conversations where you suddenly realize it's been hours.

I'd say I'm pretty easygoing and naturally curious. I genuinely enjoy getting to know people and hearing about the little things that make them who they are. Life just feels better around people who are kind, genuine, and don't take themselves too seriously.

I'm just hoping to meet someone whose company I genuinely enjoy and see where things go naturally, one step at a time.

A little about me:

  • Age: 27
  • Height: 5'8
  • Location: Hyderabad
  • Profession: Filmmaker
  • Languages: Telugu, Hindi, English
  • Diet: Non-vegetarian
  • Smoking/Drinking: Rarely / Socially
  • Partner's habits: Doesn't matter to me
  • Open to LDR: Yes, if there's genuine chemistry, trust, and effort from both sides
  • Religion: Hindu
  • Open to interfaith dating: No

If you're someone who's kind, curious, and easy to talk to, I think we'll get along just fine. Whether it's coffee, a walk, or a conversation that ends with "Wait... is it already this late?", that's usually how the best connections begin.

And if you have a movie recommendation that'll stay in my head for days, I'm all ears. 🙂

27M | Hyderabad | Chasing stories, hoping to find mine too

Hi, I'm 27M and from Hyderabad.

A couple of years ago, I made a decision that completely changed my life. I left my software engineering career to pursue filmmaking.

It wasn't because I hated my job. Life was comfortable, and walking away from that stability wasn't easy. But there was always a part of me that wondered what would happen if I never gave storytelling an honest chance. I knew I'd regret not trying far more than I would regret failing, so I took the leap.

Since then, it's been a journey full of excitement, uncertainty, setbacks, and small victories. My team and I made our first short film, and seeing something that once existed only in my head come alive on screen was one of the most rewarding moments of my life. A few weeks ago, we also wrapped shooting a musical video that's currently in post-production. Every project teaches me something new and reminds me why I chose this path.

- Age: 27
- Gender: M
- Height: 5’8
- Location: Hyderabad
- Willing to LDR: Yes(If there is a vibe and honesty)
- Dietary Habits: Non-veg
- Language: Telugu, Hindi, English
- Smoking/Drinking Habits: Rare / Socially
- Smoking/Drinking in Partner: Upto them
- Religious Orientation: Hindu
- Willing to Date Other Religion: No
- working : Storytelling

Outside of filmmaking, I'm a pretty simple person. I enjoy conversations that somehow start with movies and end with childhood memories without either of us realizing how late it's gotten. I like long drives, discovering quiet places, trying new food, laughing over silly things, and finding joy in ordinary moments.

I'm not looking for perfection, and I don't expect anyone to have life completely figured out. I'm simply hoping to meet someone who's kind, emotionally mature, curious about life, and believes the best relationships are built on friendship, trust, shared laughter, and choosing each other every day.

I know my career path isn't the most conventional, and I completely understand if that isn't what everyone is looking for. I'd rather be honest about where I am than pretend to be someone I'm not.

If something in my story resonates with you, I'd genuinely love to get to know you.

And if it doesn't, I sincerely hope you find the person who makes you feel understood, safe, and at home.

Maybe that's what all of us are looking for in the end.

Satyam Sundaram is Why I Fell in Love with Cinema Again.

https://preview.redd.it/trz5lb3cmedh1.png?width=370&format=png&auto=webp&s=8d8fffef57a167a2d2cb3ca87135a1e084b143f3

Satyam Sundaram isn't just the best film of 2024, t's the best film of the decade, in my eyes.

In an era where bigger often means louder, this film reminds us that the most powerful stories are the quiet ones. No unnecessary twists, no over-the-top action, no forced drama just beautifully written characters, heartfelt conversations, and emotions that stay with you long after the credits roll.

It celebrates kindness, family, memories, forgiveness, and the simple beauty of human connection. Karthi and Arvind Swami deliver performances filled with honesty, while C. Prem Kumar once again proves that cinema doesn't need spectacle to be unforgettable.

Some films entertain you. Some films change the way you feel about people.

Satyam Sundaram is one of those rare films.

For me, it's the best film of the decade. ❤️

Me and my team are looking for a film producer. Any suggestions?

hello everyone

We're a small filmmaking team based in Hyderabad. Our goal is to make short films, web series, and feature films. We have completed scripts, a strong vision, and work to show, but we're struggling to find the right producer who believes in independent storytelling.

Attached are a few screenshots from a musical video we shot two weeks ago, just to give you an idea of the kind of work we're creating.

Does anyone know any producers, investors, or production houses in Hyderabad who are open to hearing new pitches? Even a lead, introduction, or advice on where to connect with the right people would mean a lot.

Thanks in advance!

Looking for One Producer/Person Who Believes in Taking Risks?

Hi everyone,

I'm a 27M from Hyderabad, India, and a former software developer who quit my job to pursue filmmaking full-time. In 2024, I made my first short film, and since then I've dedicated myself to writing and developing original projects. Last week, we wrapped a music video that's now on the edit table, and it's turned out visually better than we hoped.

I'm not looking for a hundred people to believe in my stories. I'm looking for one.

I write love stories, psychological thrillers, mysteries, dramas, and high-concept stories. Whether it's a 3-minute short, a 30-minute film, or a feature-length screenplay, every project I write aims to offer something unique an idea, emotion, or experience that stays with the audience long after the credits roll.

I won't pretend my stories are safe. Most of them are ambitious. They ask difficult questions, explore unusual concepts, and often require someone willing to take a chance on something that doesn't fit neatly into a formula.

The good news is that I'm not starting from scratch. I already have a passionate team of filmmakers and craftsmen who believe in creating quality work. What we're looking for is a producer who values original storytelling and is willing to grow alongside us, one project at a time.

I'm not asking for blind faith or a blank cheque. I'm asking for an opportunity to share my work and earn your trust through the strength of the stories themselves.

If you're a producer or know someone who enjoys backing original voices and taking calculated creative risks, I would love to connect.

Please DM me if you'd like to see my previous work, read my scripts, or know more about the team.

One small request: in the past, a few people commented asking me to DM them, but after I reached out, I never received a response. I completely understand if priorities change, but if you do ask me to get in touch, I'd really appreciate it if you're genuinely interested. Serious inquiries only, please.

Thank you for reading. 🎬

As a storyteller, Rao Bahadur didn't work for me.

https://preview.redd.it/po0dm65okubh1.png?width=258&format=png&auto=webp&s=78dea8f3d5bc17eebdbf9caa60ee2ec390aa5cc6

As a storyteller, Rao Bahadur didn't work for me. I felt the story progression was too static, and I never got the feeling that the narrative was constantly moving forward. we saw films with complex structures like Manam, but despite its complexity, every scene pushes the story or the characters ahead. Here, I personally didn't feel that momentum.

One of my all-time favorite films is Bhadram. It made me realize how much I enjoy stories driven by a simple but compelling idea.

These are the kinds of films that stay with you, not because of big stars or huge budgets, but because of how cleverly they're written.

Looking for someone who wants to build meaningful cinema, one story at a time.

https://preview.redd.it/as59ckst0mbh1.png?width=554&format=png&auto=webp&s=77eade21875b142b25ce17b68c02b217c3c27036

Hey everyone!

I'm a 27-year-old aspiring filmmaker from Hyderabad. I quit my software career to pursue filmmaking full-time, and I'm currently developing my next short film.

It's a 27–35 minute romantic musical short film about two strangers whose lives intersect after an unexpected incident. What begins as a small, awkward moment gradually blossoms into a meaningful relationship.

The film embraces a grounded, intimate style with:

  • Cafes
  • Homes
  • Roads
  • Everyday locations

It's driven by natural performances, heartfelt conversations, subtle emotions, and music that becomes part of the storytelling rather than just the background.

The emotional tone is inspired by Maayanadhi - not the story itself, but its realism, emotional honesty, and the beauty it finds in ordinary moments.

I'm looking for a producer of budget 7-8 L with very good quality in making and passionate collaborators who believe memorable cinema doesn't need a massive budget, just a compelling story, committed people, and a shared vision.

I've previously directed a short film and would be happy to share my previous work, screenplay, and moodboard with anyone interested.

If this sounds like the kind of film you'd love to help bring to life, feel free to DM me. I'd love to connect.
