I just realized a ben and glory plot hole(an actual one) am I crazy?

Okay, so Im due for a rewatch, I just saw the clip of spikes iconic line "is everyone here very stoned" when he find out Ben if glory and the gang all forgets immediately.

He then says something along the lines of "oh how smart, she makes everyone forget, since I'm not human I can remember"

BUT a big chunk of the Scooby gang are not human and still forget?

Dawn isn't human but she forgets(I think I could be wrong about this one)

Buffy is a slayer, she's not technically human. Willow and Tara are witches, not humans. And yet they all forget? I'm not mentioning anya because I don't remember if she was human or a demon at this point in the show.

Maybe I'm just remembering wrong, but has anyone else noticed that? I'm about 60% sure everyone saw her "change" from Ben to glory before. Idk

Thank you in advance for any and all responses ❤️

People who crochet! Would a flat project tracker like this interest you at all?

I've made myself a creator and tracker of sorts, I've found it extremely helpful for myself, and was wondering if anyone else would be interested in it! If so I'd be happy to make a cleaned up version that's easier for others to use, and make it available on other apps(right now I just have it on excel)

It's basically this:

.

.

Project info: in this section you have all the information you need about your project(size, hook, what it is, what direction your going), and yarn information(dye lot, weight, price per ball, ect)

.

.

Master Graph: simply put this is where you draw your graph

Written pattern: this is where it takes the information for master graph, and writes it out for you

.

.

Live tracker: this is where it takes all of the information above, and basically created a to do list. Each row is broken up into the color sections. (For example if a row is 2 blue, 1 yellow, 2 blue. It will separate that into 3 lines, each line gets its own checkmark). This section also includes a yarn tracker, where you can input the row and stitch number your yarn ball ran out, and it will calculate how many more balls you will need to finish. Last but not least, there's also a section that tells you what percent you are done with the project, what row you are on, how many stitches are left in your row, and more!

.

.

These next sections are optional and do not have to be used!

.

.

Pattern input: this is where you will take the cleaned up version and paste it

.

.

Generated graph: this will take the cleaned up version, and create the graph for you. From here you will copy the entire graph, and paste it into the master graph

.

.

**Pattern input fix:**this is perfect for if you are copying a pattern(from stitch fiddle or something like that) or wrote one yourself. You just paste it here and it will translate it for you and clean it up!

There's a lot more to it, but I tried to list out the coolest features! Anyways, would anyone be interested in something like that? It's been a big help to me lately! I'm happy to answer any questions!

thank you in advance for any and all responses!! ❤️

People who buy/make crochet tapestry, which would you prefer?

I'm currently working on making some tapestry patterns for a specific category(about 40+ options) I was planning on having a list of things a customer could pick out, and then I'd make it for them(it would essentially look like a collage of everything they picked out. This is where id like some opinions.

For now I'd like to do one or the other, eventually I'll probably end up doing both.

As a buyer: Would you rather buy a PDF pattern with all the patterns for each item in it and explanations for how to create the collage, or would you rather buy it and have the completed thing sent to you?

Iconic show symbols: what is a symbol/icon that makes you immediately recognize a show?

Some shows have iconic images that the moment you see it, you think "oh that's ____" I can only think of a couple off the top of my head, are there anymore you can think of?

What I thought:

Supernatural: anti possession symbol/Baby

Charmed: Triquetra

Psych: pineapple

Doctor who: phone booth

Buffy: B with a stake through it

What are some other ones? What's the symbol/icon for your favorite shows? From now or from when you were younger?

Thank you in advance for any and all responses! ❤️

I just noticed some Older Sibling parallels in this show and I'm actually sobbing, spoilers for those who have not seen the show!

Okay, I've seen this show hundreds of times, and I have never noticed these things until I was working on an edit. This might be a stretch, but just hold on for a second.

In season 1 episode 13. We meet Barbas. In Prue, who is the oldest daughter, during her second encounter with him, she's thrown into the pool and is in the process of drowning. Patty appears, takes her hand and pulls her out of the water.

In season 5 episode 2. Piper, who is now the oldest daughter, is being tortured by Necron. When he's defeated, she's thrown into the water. Her ankle chained, and she's unable to get out, she's in the process of drowning. Patty shows herself, takes her hand and frees her, pulling her out of the water.

In Prues last episode, when Piper is shot, we get a scene of her holding Piper, who is the middle child, cradling her and resting her head on Pipers head, kissing the top of her head. The younger sibling(Phoebe) forgotten in this moment

In one of Pipers last episodes, Phoebe, who is now the middle child, is injured in an explosion. We get a scene of Piper holding her, cradling her and resting her head on Pheobes head, kissing the top of it. The youngest sibling(Paige) forgotten in this moment

Both of these scenes are nearly identical, I'm sure there's a lot more, but these two stood out to me as I was creating the edit. I wanted to know if anyone else noticed this whole watching/rewatching the show!

Thank you in advance for any and all responses! ❤️

Dedicated writing sessions, what do yours look like?

When you dedicate a time slot or schedule a time for yourself to write, what does that look like? Do you just sit and write? Do you set the mood for it? A playlist, specific show/movie, candles?

When Im not just writing on and off throughout the day, I like to schedule what I call a BlackOut Session. This is where I get the document open, get my playlist ready, turn off all the lights, turn the brightness down all the way on my laptop and then blindfold myself. Then I start writing.

I did this last night and it got me wondering about other people's dedicated sessions, what do you do? Do you set the mood at all? Do you just sit and go for it?

Thank you in advance to any and all responses❤️

How did you decide your characters ages?

I started writing a series when I was incredibly young, and because of this I've found the character ages are pretty young. Now as I continue working and advancing/expanding my stories and working on actually writing them I'm worried about the ages slightly.

For example, one of the books the main character(a girl) is 15/16. Shes the 3rd story in the series. The first story is also highschool related but follows seniors. After the 3rd book everyone ages up as the universal story is told. But as a reader/writer. Would you read a story with a main character who is 15/16? Should I age her up? I'm not worried about age gaps between characters, as this is not a romance series.

How did you decide on your characters age? What influenced that decision? Did you think about the readers perspective on it, or what you felt fit the character and story better? Is this something I should worry about later on when editing?

What's the most you've ever used for a project?

I love looking at people's projects, their unfinished and finished ones because people's creative minds just fascinate me, and it got me curious about something.

What is the most you have ever used on a project? It doesn't have to be finished yet, it can be estimated!

I'm talking, skeins of yarns, I'm talking about the amount of colors, anything and everything!

Thank you in advance to any and all responses! ❤️❤️

Tracking daily word amounts

I don't write daily, I wish I did, and I'm trying to build that habit back up. But one thing I've been thinking about lately, is that tracking daily word amounts is sorta annoying. I use Microsoft word for writing. And I wish there was an app similar to it that actually tracked the words for you. Where it started at midnight, and ended at midnight. It calculates and saves it for you. I've looked around and haven't found anything that does that. I've seen apps where you can enter the amount you've typed a day and track it that way, but it doesn't do it automatically.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like that would be an amazing tool. Maybe have a graph you can look at to see what days you wrote the most, idk.

Just some little thoughts I've had, I hope all of you are enjoying your works and having a good day/night!

Thank you in advance for any and all responses ❤️

Is this Offensive to fans?

I'll be honest, I don't know much about LOTR. I've seen the main movies once when I was little(I'm going to be watching them again soon) I was approached by someone on insta who wanted me to make them a blanket. (I crochet) We spent a lot of time brain storming before they settled on a door from the movie.

In the discussion process I made this based on some images from the movies I saw, a volcano and a tree that seemed to come up a lot. I think it's super cute and kinda cool. They seemed to get kinda upset and said it made zero sense. They would not clarify further. I was just curious what other fans thought of it

Thank you in advance to any and all responses!!

It looks like a smiley face😭😄

My book universe so far, I'm still working on adding everything back I lost a while ago. But I almost don't want to add anything because it looks so cute right now😂

How much of the way you speak stays with you from childhood? Does it stay like a habit, or change with more life experience?

I'm writing a story and had a question about how slang/speech changes over a person's life.

Do you still use slang, phrases, sayings, or speech habits from when you were a kid/teenager? Or did the way you talk mostly change over time based on the people around you?

For example, if someone left society young and then spent decades around people from completely different generations, would you expect them to keep using phrases from their childhood/teen years? Or would they naturally adapt to the speech of the newer people around them?

I’m especially curious about whether age matters here.

Like:

- If someone was only around 7 years old when they stopped being around people from their own time period, would their original slang/speech habits probably stick? Or would they mostly absorb the way the older/newer people around them talked instead?

- Would a teenager hold onto more of the slang they grew up with?

- Would adults be the most likely to keep their original speech patterns?

Basically: how much of the way you speak stays with you from childhood, and how much changes depending on who you spend your life around?

I FUCKING KNEW IT!!? (Just finished the reckoning)

I did not in fact know it. Okay I kinda knew it but I was wrong.

SPOILERS!!!!

I just finished the reckoning. PHOENIX???

The entire time reading ruthless boys, after Gabriel went into the cave and had that whole thing with the Phoenix to combat against kings power. I was CONVINCED for the rest of that series he was going to emerge as a Phoenix. That he wasn't actually a harpy. So much so I was shocked that it didn't happen in the last book when he and Ryder got stuck under all that rubble.

IT WAS THE GIRLS!!?? I can't even do words right now, I'm starting the next one immediately!

Also, Seth is annoying the hell out of me, and stressing me out beyond. I think he's going to figure out lance and blue in the next book.

Tori is kinda baffling to me right now. She's so angry at Darius, which I get it, but also. She should have the Intelligence to realize, especially cus she saw it in him multiple times, that Darius didn't want this to happen to her. And he was LITERALLY in the process of reaching her when they brought out xavier. As someone who would do anything to save Darcy, she should know Darius would do the same for Xavier. I get being upset, but vowing to make him sorry after he's apologizing and clearly wanted to help her and wanted nothing to do with this, is just like.... SERIOUSLY?

The shadows??? Does this mean they are all "shadow daddies" now??? Do they have nymph in them now?? I'm simply DYING!

Starting the next book right now!!!

Thank you in advance for any and all responses❤️‼️
