My opponent who was on the receiving end of these lobs the majority of the time would successfully send a smash/hard shot to my partner who was opposite him.

I then changed tactic and was hitting flat shots/chiquita .

I don’t trust Google with asphalt/paved route recommendations as I’d like to cycle on my road bike from Zurich to chur.

I downloaded komoot and strava but you have to pay to use planning function.

I guess the part which seems the least clear is how to get to walensee and navigate that segment as I assume there’s a detour to get there and then to get out once you’re completed the lake segment.

I’m really struggling

To the road cyclist community,

Do you wave or nod when you cross a fellow cyclist?
I make it a point to try do so (even when there tend to be many on a sunny weekend morning)

But I’ve noticed not so many people do it back to me and most just look at me. And that’s the uncomfortable part.

I guess it makes me a little sad as I ride alone and I look forward to this fleeting exchange/greeting.

It really boosts my morale and makes me happy.

It’s clear I’m not on a fancy bike or gear so that that play a role maybe? Or into my own insecurities?

This is very vague I realize but I remember someone posting here about a British running brand with beautiful colors on a running jacket

Reason I’m standoffish
We are bringing about 50-60% of the property value in cash (if needed and wanted by the bank)

We have salary slips
No debt etc etc etc

Why asking for this? It’s not mandatory? Can I say no?
I feel the bank takes liberties it doesn’t need to.

Am I off by being sensitive about this?
Or I’m at their mercy?

Because you wouldn’t assume / expect Germans to come holiday here, because it’s too expensive for them (something I hear often)

They’d rather go to Mallorca or whatever. Is there, like, a historical reason as to why this happens and they do it?
