I don’t trust Google with asphalt/paved route recommendations as I’d like to cycle on my road bike from Zurich to chur.
I downloaded komoot and strava but you have to pay to use planning function.
I guess the part which seems the least clear is how to get to walensee and navigate that segment as I assume there’s a detour to get there and then to get out once you’re completed the lake segment.

To the road cyclist community,
Do you wave or nod when you cross a fellow cyclist?
I make it a point to try do so (even when there tend to be many on a sunny weekend morning)
But I’ve noticed not so many people do it back to me and most just look at me. And that’s the uncomfortable part.
I guess it makes me a little sad as I ride alone and I look forward to this fleeting exchange/greeting.
It really boosts my morale and makes me happy.
It’s clear I’m not on a fancy bike or gear so that that play a role maybe? Or into my own insecurities?
This is very vague I realize but I remember someone posting here about a British running brand with beautiful colors on a running jacket
Can anyone throw some names my way in the hope I can find it.

Why asking for this? It’s not mandatory? Can I say no?
