Hello, SO I am from India, and I want to date someone who is academically inclined( someone who maybe , especially a mature INTJ( I am into mbti lol) , around the age range of 23-27. My hobbies include singing, travelling, writing, reading, and mostly sleeping. I am currently a college student studying Biotechnology. I am religious, tho I am not strict with whatever my partner wishes to identify as religiously. I love speaking my way through. I must voice my feelings and get an equal amount of reciprocation from the other side. I dislike people who lack clarity and people who shut down when something needs to be discussed emotionally. Emotions are very important to me, and I require that my partner be able to talk about them as freely as possible, aka be vulnerable(though it's a much later concept in a relationship but I do need initiation in that regard).

I am a switch myself, and I need someone who is also a switch but inclined to a bit of dominance in character. My love languages are words of affirmation, physical touch and thoughtful gifts. I am a very easy-going and simple person, and I also want a person who identifies as the same. Also I am child-free and want to remain throught my life. I strongly condemn beating around the bush and being pushy. I value respect, care and emotions. Hello everybody, 22F here, and this is me trying yet again to find someone willing to listen to me vent. I am not sugarcoating this to be something beneficial for the other person; it's simply me sitting with things in my head that I need to get out.

I cannot chat in the comments, because the story is long enough and needs some individual insights within its own subtexts. I am not asking for a therapist; I just want a person with their own views and insights on my situation. If anybody is kind enough to listen, it would be great.

Right now, I'm involved in a research program where we're working on a review article that will hopefully get published. At the same time, I approached another professor for an AI/ML project, but he suggested that I first complete a summer course and contact him again once the semester starts.

I'm also preparing for GATE BT and have enrolled in a coaching/course for that. My college reopens in about a month, and I'm worried about how I'll manage everything once classes begin.

My long-term interest is bioinformatics, but after looking into M.Tech programs, it seems there are only a few IITs that offer bioinformatics programs that really interest me. I'm also only beginning to learn Python and the basics of AI/ML.

Given all this, how would you prioritize these activities? Should GATE be my main focus, or should I invest more time in research publications and AI/ML skills? Has anyone been in a similar situation and managed all three successfully?

I am appearing for GATE BT next year and my schedule is really fucked up. I need someone who is dedicated and self motivated to study together.

I am really behind my schedule and have a lot of stuff on my plate at the moment. I really work well when somebody is ready to push me. If you are genuinely someone who is self motivated like that and would like to help maybe we can help each other.

I am 22 F, and I have recently disclosed to my parents at the dinner table about my preference for not wanting children in the future . I do want to get married tho. To this my parents reacted in a harsh way indeed, but I understand why , they are from a generation where having a child after marriage was the norm.

My dad especially got enraged, and told me that any guy who doesn't want children, doesn't have a sense of responsibility and would use you only physically, (this stuck with me) so if you go by this mentality you won't get anybody suitable to marry. I didn't say anything back because I knew he is speaking from a viewpoint that he was taught and made to believe it was the normal thing.

And on top of that there are other preferences, caste , language and that makes it even more difficult.

I am scared that I won't find anybody to come home to and if I do I would be manipulated into having one. Even if I am a very stubborn person , I would say no ,but at what cost ; I don't want to ruin any guy's life like that. What to do, what sort of mental preparation should I do for this ?
