I’ve been having a lot of problems the last few years with my heart rate. It’s too high. I just saw my new cardiologist last month & she did an EKG

Yesterday I saw on the portal new results for it. These are the results. It also says my doc team has not seen it yet though & they’ve been closed

I compared to the 2022 test it’s referencing & I did not have abnormal q waves then but my heart was enlarged & I had sinus tachycardia on the prior one. It’s decreased now because I’m on meds to lower it

I’m really wondering if I had a HA in or around 2022 & THATS why my heart is fast now. They keep wanting to find the root cause. That could be a root cause…

I saw a new cardiologist on the 19th. Did an ekg & today I saw the results before my doctor did on the portal. The report was just made & they’re closed & it says care team has not seen it yet. So I’m just seeing this in awe until the doc opens again

I know the placement can mess things up. But for years I’ve had problems. I’m on calcium channel blocks now to bring my heart rate down

If I didn’t have so many problems I would think it could be an error but I’m always saying I feel like I’m gonna have a HA cuz how stressed I always am too & have a lot of pressure in my chest a lot

In 2022 my results were sinus tachycardia & enlarged ventricular something. Now these are my new ones.

Do you think I had a HA based off my hx a little bit plus the results?

If you had to guess & all my problems I’ve been having. Would you guess it’s pointing to yes I have had one?

I just went to the cardiologist on the 19th & had testing for my first appt. It just came back & said

Abnormal q waves happen after a heart attack & they weren’t abnormal in 2022. That PLUS cannot exclude inferior infarct both point to having had a prior heart attack is that right?

It was just read 2 days ago & my docs are closed. It says my docs have not seen the test yet

started it a week & a half ago the instant release where you take every 6 hours. Since I’m on that kind the docs told me my body would adjust pretty quickly

The thing is when I’m not working & like at time, I can barely stay awake. I just wanna sleep 24/7. At first I was looking it up & it was saying if your body is used to being in fight or flight then when it’s relaxed from cardizem your body doesn’t have to work as hard & can make you tired

Idk if that’s happening or still adjusting or what. But I feel like it’s been easier on my body than the beta blockers too

And my BP is normal it’s not low either I checked

I’m on day 5 & it was good until today. I’ve done 3 beta blockers & not good. my cardiologist did a calcium channel blocker instead

Today I had work. I went into my 130s when I usually am in my 120s when it’s high. My work is so stressful that’s not changing quick enough sadly but I’m looking

Is it hope it just needs more time & it can control more once it’s steady in like 2 weeks? It says 2 weeks is kind of when it’s getting stable in your system so do you think it’ll be more helpful once I’m on it a little longer?

I’m on cardizem short acting 30mg four times a day

Over the last 8 months I’ve tried 3 beta blockers without success

2 days ago I started cardizem

Who prefers CCB here? I’m hoping this will be easier on my body & still help my tachycardia 🤞

I’m in process of getting diagnosed with pots. 2 prior docs have said they think it’s that but can’t diagnose right now. I’m waiting for my electrophysiologist appt in September now & today my cardiologist is switching me off beta blockers.

I’ve tried propranolol that caused too bad brain fog, atenolol wasn’t keeping my HR down, & metoprolol right now I don’t like I can barely breathe or catch my breath

Has anyone taken Cardizem & had better results than beta blockers? Can you feel the difference like you can when beta blockers are working?

Let’s just say someone I know works somewhere & new management came end of last year. It’s not been good. But they asked said person I know if I would work a certain job there basically so I did. It’s been a few months now

I keep to myself & just work & that’s it. I’ve been getting my supplies broken, stolen, basically sabotaged with my supplies since the start. Ppl felt like I got the job & they wanted it yada yada

I’m so nice to everyone cuz I want work to be as good as possible cuz it’s so bad with the management he’s very mean & cliques keep treating me like shit. I already have heart rate problems when I get upset & im on beta blockers

Today one of the girls I don’t like was staring me down working today so when I came her way I didn’t even want to & was like hey :) & she looks straight ahead & completely ignored me. Her 2 friends have been treating me like shit too & im just trying to work & leave!!!! Also with my job I’m physically everywhere so I have to see these people constantly & they all make me so mad cuz they’re trying to make me uncomfortable

It’s so bad & im sensitive so that affects me physically too. How can I not let this affect me so much?! Any tips?! Anything?!

I had surgery in R shoulder for bursitis & tendinitis in 2022 & I still have a lot of problems. Now i know I have it in both shoulders now & have to start another steroid pack for both shoulders so I can work my physical job that hurts so bad. So it’s back in the surgery shoulder too. I have such a hard time sleeping since I can’t sleep on either side or I’m screaming in pain

I have bursitis & tendonitis in my shoulders. I had a surgery already that didn’t really help. Every so often I flare & need prednisone. My doc called in a methylprednisone pack instead of regular prednisone I usually do

I don’t wanna take the whole pack. Should I just take a couple a day? Last week I took 2 prednisone & was good for a few days

(Edit: the reason I don’t want to take them all is due to heart rate. I’m on beta blockers to slow my heart down & the prednisone makes it fast & I have a lot of trouble when it’s fast that’s why I’m trying to take less)

My doctor knows NOTHING about beta blockers. She literally uses google on her phone while I’m sitting there & prescribes them. so any comments saying “ask your doc” are NOT helpful here. I’ve had to be my own doctor. This is the 3rd beta blocker I’ve been on & she wants me on even higher doses that I don’t do so I have to go based off my body when dealing with this & it’s been so hard

I have cardiology appt finally next Friday

But I’ve been having a lot of trouble with air hunger & catching my breath for multiple days & I can barely work. I keep needing air & I’m a cleaner. That doesn’t mix & I keep having to leave early the last couple days

I take 25mg twice a day & think I need to half them to 12.5mg per day

Has anyone gone from that dose to lower for the same reason? Did it help?

Someone I had on my phone plan on T-Mobile was gone for 1.5years. I cancelled the line like 4 months ago cuz I thought it was gonna be longer & was a waste paying it that long anyways

So since he’s gonna need service again, I have a balance & I’m on a payment plan. they don’t let you add anything like lines or phones unless you pay the full balance off. He gets out tomorrow so he’s gonna need service then

Would he just be able to bring his old android phone & get service? I can’t remember the pricing off my head besides $15/month. does it need to be an Apple phone also or no? I just learned about mint mobile very recently so I don’t know much besides the website but not real people that have used it lol

Or maybe a prepaid T-Mobile phone where he can just put his sim in since he already had it & needs a new number probably?
