I know 3 BSS are a bit much, but I like them and I think it's good for the variants. Also I'm doing this for 10th because me and my friend prefer 10th edition. I picked Bringer of Flame as the ability to get Assault on all weapons is pretty good. And if the enemy gets close to me I get a bonus to my Strength.
I've been curious on if I should give some units a melta. I gave one to one of my BSS and the others have the other 2 options while my dominion squad has 4 storm bolters. I want to give my Retributors the Melta but the Heavy Bolter is really good. Should I just stick to my AT being my castigator, Pentient, Mortifiers, Warsuits and Immolators?
I finally completed my Breachers and Fireblade after a week of school
So, I have 3 squads of base battle sisters and then I have a Dominion Squad. Each of the BSS has a Heavy weapon (One has Melta, another had Heavy Bolter, and another the flamer.) And I had originally thought that having it I could just roll dice based on how many objecitves I control. Now that I have been reading their rules a bit more, should I just give the simulacrum to my home base squad and the rest don't have it? I'm still keeping my 3 BSS but one will be purely backline just farming miracle dice while the others push up.
With the same question, should I keep my Dominion squads Simulacrum or not? Seeing how they're front line and meant to be in NML holding objectives I did it would be good (plus I could get 2 miracle dice at the end of my command phase)
I was playing against my friend and his sister and they were Imperial Guard and Space Marines. I played my Eldar and T'au and won.
3-4th: images was when my Hammerhead DEMOLISHING his Vanquisher, leaving it on one wound and my pathfinder rail rifles finished it.
5-7th: were our sides of the table and me deep striking my Warp Spiders to get sight on his Kasrkin.
8-9th: I deep striked my Starscythe with Commander in Enforcer down and shredded some horses. He then charged me, but since I was running Ret Cadre I used the shield stratagem and killed them with 3 sixes!
10: he killed a warp spider after getting a 3 on his Krieg Heavy Weapon squad and shot back. They will be missed.
Final image: the Dead Pile where I killed more of his models than he killed my own! He didn't even wipe a squad of pathfinders as I was able to get the Shas'ui out of there in time.
I've been curious on which to get. In my list so far I have a squad of 4 but would having two squads of 2 be better to have more coverage of the board? Also, which weapons should I give them? On New Recruit I gave them the Heavy and the basic Phosphor blaster.
Hello! I play T'au, Eldar and Guard. Since I play T'au and Eldar mainly whenever I go out to play I give my friend my Guard army and with the Intro Set I gave his sister (who also plays with us) the Space Marines. So far, I have Terminators, Captain in Terminator, and Infernus and she also said she wanted a Redemptor Dread next. I want to get her some more marines to build up her own list (my friend and me have way more models than her. She ONLY has introductory set models while I have combat patrols plus more for both xenos and Imperium armies) so what should I get her next? I'm thinking of getting her Intercessors.
Decided to paint my Fire Dragons in my original post back to their original color scheme of Castellan Green for the armor and Warpstone Glow for the Helmet. I personally like it more (I found Warpstone a little too bright for the body) and I think the dual tones for the body armor and helmet go wonderful together but what do you guys think?
My first Fire Dragons done. I really enjoyed painting the banner and the statue. Gold and Green went surprisingly good for these but I'm just worried someone may think they're Striking Scorpions lol.
Still need to buy some static grass and tufts and do their rims but here's my howling banshees for now.

Hello! I am a T'au player and I've had Farstalkers and Carnivores in my list and I wanted some advice from the experts on Kroot how should I use Carnivores and Farstalkers? I haven't gotten them yet so I wanted to ask before I make mistakes and they die early and I say I hate them.

Hello! I've been using my spare time (Since I no longer have any models to put together) to try my hand at customizing bases for models. I've tried it for my Kroot that I will order (Farstalkers) to see how I like them. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to improve/what to add? I want it to seem like the Farstalkers are claiming their kills or hunting down a target. I have added Static Grass to my Amazon shopping list for the second image who seems a little barren.
I've been wondering if I could use the Kill Team Krieg models in 40k? I LOVE the Bruiser model and wanted to replace one of my own soldiers with em and maybe the Veteran with the robot hand too but I'm worried people won't let me use them in base 40k. Do I just tell people I'm running them as regular kriegsman?

Hello, I bought BFV again with my friends and wanted to get the Assault skins. I had bought the shortcut thing as well to get the weapons. I maxed out Assault and today just completed the mastery for Assault and the basic training but I still haven't gotten the special assignment for the Scottish Play and Veiled Threat. Is there anything else I have to do before I get it?

Here's my army so far. My dad said we could go to the warhammer store nearby this weekend so I'm preparing to play my first game. I'm running Retaliation Cadre and I plan on buying a Breacher Team and Cadre fireblade next.
I have a Strike Team that will be led by my Ethereal, pathfinders with 3 rail rifles and the Recon burst drone, stealth suits with 2 fusion blasters, a starscythe team with burst and flamers who will be with my commander who has a fusion blaster, missile pod plasma rifle(might be swapped for a High Output burst cannon), and cyclic ion blaster. For vehicles I have a Devil fish with the carbines and Hammerhead with a railgun and burst cannons.
Are there any suggestions on how I should play? This will be my first game using T'au besides the one practice round I had with my friends and his guard. Any advice or tips to fight against other factions?
