Here is another superhero to add to my Superhero universe. This is an updated character profile for her to look better. How does she look?

I envision her as my equivalent of Wonder Woman and Thor for the Main trinity, albeit a grim anti-heroic take. Gods are not exactly nice people in mythology and do not have the best interests of humanity in mind. So a god being forced into a Superhero is not going to play well with others.

She is Ishtar the Imperious.

Backstory:

She is Ishtar the Mesopotamian Goddess of Love, War and Fire. Normally, the power and sovereignty of Gods have waned for millennia since the rise of human history until they were banished from Earth. But in modern times, Gods have been able to manifest themselves inside humans who serve as their host, granting them access to a mortal body with divine power. This makes them relatively weaker than if they had full divine might but are still some of the strongest superhumans in the world.

Ishtar is no exception and she has been willing to confide herself in a mortal body just to enjoy life on Earth and all its pleasures. Her current human host is Illana Mooring, a female drifter who has since been forced to host a divine spirit inside her body who allows her to transform into a Warrior goddess.

She is eager to enjoy earthly pleasures in the flesh once more and see how humanity has evolved since her brethren have been sealed away. She is intrigued by humanity in the same way humans enjoy cute pets. She may find humans amusing as a whole but it does not mean she cares about them by any means. And the only reason she bothers protecting humanity is due to the influence of her human host and those around her. She did ally herself with a prestigious superhero group but only because they promised her great battles against adversaries and because she finds them entertaining. She makes it quite clear that if they get in her way or become boring, she has no compunctions about turning on them and doing whatever she wants.

But in time, even a temperental and mercurial Deity like her can grow to see that there is something in humanity worth fighting for.

Power and abilities:

As a Goddess in human form, Ishtar is incredibly powerful, fast, agile, and durable in every category. She has millennia of combat experience, making her more deadly than any warrior alive. She can wield weapons with incredibly mastery like her two blades Namkia and Gigaman which are Sumerian swords made of Celestial Bronze and can conjure primordial fire that can incinerate anything to ashes. It also burns anyone who tries to touch the handle as its divine power cannot be held safely by mortal hands.

She is also the Goddess of Fire and Passion. She can generate and control all kinds of fire and heat, summoning divine fire that can incinerate all but the strongest enemies. She can generate fireballs as hot as the sun and launch it at her foes. As a given, she is immune to being burned in any way. She is also incredibly beautiful, far beyond what any mortal can be. This allows her to charm and disarm most people who take one look at her and are bewitched by her. She is also gets more power by harnessing the energy of love and sex which is why she feels compelled to mate with other people in order to empower herself further, the more stronger her partners are, the bigger boost she may get.

But what makes her most dangerous is that she has access to the power of the Ur-Force. Due to the fact that the Sumerian Pantheon is the oldest in recorded history with no other pantheons existing before them. This makes them the closest to the original source that all other pantheons that exist before them are derived from.

So if you remember Gilgamesh from Fate: Stay Night, she basically has the Gate of Bablyon for Divine powers and weapons. As long as said Deities are related to her domains of love and war, she can use their powers and weapons. She can summon Odin's Gungir which can pierce any target dead-center or Athena's Aegis Shield which can block all attacks not of divine nature. But she can only use this power if she is the only deity present. If another god in human form appears, they can take back their powers and weapons leaving her unable to use them.

But despite all this divine power at her fingertips, she is far from invincible. As a rule, Divine Gods cannot be harmed by anything younger than they are or with another divine power. This means it is impossible to harm them from anything within the mortal world like guns or missiles. However, it is possible to scratch and even cripple them with weapons that existed in the same realm as them. For Ishtar, she is from the Sumerian period which makes it incredibly hard to find any decent weapons that still exist.

But this means she is surprisingly weak to anything derived from ancient matter like fossil fuels. A piece of coal will stone her like any human and she could be poisoned by oil.

Also if you kill her mortal host somehow, she is forced to banish from the mortal world. And she can only be allowed to reincarnate inside another human after 2000 years as a cooldown period.

Here is an updated version of my original superhero design for someone who takes the place as the Superman of my Superhero universe. Introducing Vitalion the mightiest hero on Earth that most of humanity look up to as a beacon of inspiration. His powers are off the charts, surpassing most superhumans in strength, speed, durability, and more. He claims that his real power comes from humanity but it turns out to be quite literal about it. Namely, he draws strength from the presence of life that he is driven to protect.

His civilian identity is Lyle Forest. He is actually from the planet Aetheros, being a Aetherite who are an ancient race that have devoted themselves to understanding and mastering the element of life-force which flows through all living things and is the foundation for which all superpowers originate from. Unfortunately, the planet was destroyed by his immense threat even they were poweress against. His parents sent him to another planet which is Earth to save his life. There, he was found by a kindly couple living out in the great fields who cultivated him with a sense of appreciation for nature and life as a whole. Growing up, he discovered his powers and decided to use them for good, becoming one of the world's mightiest heroes as Vitalion the Life-Force.

His powers center around life-force which is the source of all powers. If it is a power used by a superhuman, he can use it as well. But he mostly limits himself to only the most basic of powers such as incredible strength, speed, durability, enhanced senses, flight, and even green eye beams. However, there are other powers he also uses from life-force such as being able to create force-fields, healing wounds and sicknesses, and even tactile telekinesis. He consciously establishes barriers in his mind to avoid using his powers to his fullest extent, less he becomes a tyrant who sees himself as superior to humanity itself. He only uses his full power temporarily when he is left with no other options before blacking out and cutting himself off.

His main weakness is that he needs to be constantly around any source of life that powers him. In a dense populated city like he mostly inhabits, he is at his utmost peak of power with few standing up to him. But if he is in a desert or the Arctic where there is little life to sustain him, he loses his powers and becomes a human. And if he is forced to use his powers in such a state, it would weaken him further and eventually kill him.

A kind, honorable selfless man who sees heroism as a duty and a choice. He has incredible power that could help everyone so he does. But he is also afraid of what he may do if left with no limitations that he imposed on himself for his own good. He would do anything to protect the innocent from the wicked and ruthless. He sees life as a privilege to all, but true villains don't deserve any of it.

This is a superhero I have been working on named Vitalion who is my version of Superman. His civilian name is Lyle Forster. I am going to refine him to look better. But here is what I have already. How is this color combination and pose? Does he look like a typical superhero you can trust and look up to?

Can Blue and Green work together as color combos because I wanted to emulate the planet Earth which is his theme.

So it has been three years after Justin Roilland has been kicked off the show for his misdemeanors, replaced by Ian Cardoni as Rick Sanchez and Harry Belden as Morty Smith. I think they are perfect replacements and have really grown into their roles.

And now we had three seasons of Rick and Morty since then. Man, time really does fly. What do you think of how the show has been since Justin Roilland left? Is it still the same, better, or somewhere in between?

And apparently we have a lot more where we are coming from, at least three more seasons left up to 12? Wow, it is crazy to think Rick and Morty would go on for that long. I do hope they find new ways to stay fresh and know when to pull the plug less we end up with Sci-Fi Family Guy which is bad.

Anyways, what do you like about Season 7, 8, and 9? How does it set itself apart from the previous seasons? What are the highlights, what are the downsides, and what is just okay? Is there something about the previous seasons that just can't be replaced? How has the show's plot, characters, and sci-fi bullshit turned out in your opinion? Do you like how things have been going or what could have been done better?

I was watching the new Spider-Man movie Brand New Day and I really loved it. It inspired me to to revamp my Hardigrade Superhero as well. And come up with some new ideas due to Peter Parker getting new powers.

And I wonder how I could evolve his powers as a Tardigrade man even further. Maybe Tardigrades are secretly engineered to be the ultimate life-forms on Earth due to their ability to survive in the most hostile environments, ensuring that they would be the sole survivors if most of life on Earth has perished. And those same survival traits are what Hardigrade inherits. The more you try to kill him, the stronger you make him. So he basically has a Zenkai trait that relies on his willpower.

Also his brain is just as durable as the rest of his body, evolving to eject any mental intrusion no matter how strong. Most telepaths find it difficult to control his mind or even read it, like there is a solid wall they just can't penetrate.

Also do you think this is a cool comic book cover design?

You know I was curious on what the whole theme of Season 9 is supposed to be? Rick and Morty may have traveled the multiverse for a very long time and have seen literally everything it has to offer. But it still hasn't been able to help them answer the one question that continues to elude them thus far which not even the smartest man in the world could answer. And something a lot of people around the world probably live their lives not even knowing that answer. Is True Happiness even possible?

I can't help but draw a parallel between two Season 9 Episodes, Rick Days, Seven Nights as well as the Season Finale Field of Dreams. Both Rick and Morty leave on their own to find their own speck of happiness but end up destroying that happiness through their own actions.

• Rick and Morty find a place across the multiverse where they feel love and appreciated. But in order to get that, it involves death of some kind. Rick has to "figuratively" kill himself by wiping his identity so that another man named Ted could experience happiness and bliss among friends as just a normal guy. Meanwhile, Morty finds a dimension where he died and decided to take his dead counterpart's place to be with a family who would shower him with love and affection more than his own family did, acting like a normal kid for once.
• However, they discover a dark truth that upsets the newfound happiness they had. "Ted" finds out he is not a real person, just another identity that his original self Rick uses when he wants to take a vacation and will eventually restore himself once he had his fun. And Ted naturally fights for his right to exist as an individual instead of just some guy's costume. Morty thought he found a loving family until that family turns out to be far too obsessive and clingy, refusing to let him go home. Along with the tidbit of that Jerry apparently have caused his son's death in that rock climbing accident.
• Rick and Morty were unable to choose between the lives they want and the lives they have with fatal consequences. "Ted" didn't want to go back to being Rick, despite Rick also having a life of his own. And Morty got cold feet when asked to decide which family he wanted to stay with.
• Rick and Morty ironically end up taking the place of Rick Prime. Thanks to Rick's contingencies, he ends up getting "Ted"s love interest killed which made another version of him vow revenge but is unable to get it due to Rick not being there obviously (Can't kill himself), which drove him into a depressed drunken spiral. In trying to get back home, Morty encounters another version of Rick who was able to turn his life around as a respectable professor with a loving wife. Morty convinced that Rick to develop dimensional travel, despite how much it almost destroyed him in the past. That served as the cataylst for Rick's downfall. Obsessed with the project despite constant failures, Rick ends up destroying his marriage and career which Morty let happen because he needed a way back home. And in the end, that Rick failed with him and his whole family dying in the process much to Morty's regret.
• In short, Rick and Morty's flaws as people ended up destroying the happiness they thought they found and made them even more miserable than when they started. Rick got several of his friends killed with the rest now hating him for what he caused while Morty caused the death of an entire Smith family.

I wonder if those two can ever be truly happy. And if it doesn't have to require wiping your memories or taking the place of your dead self in another family.

I can relate to that desperate desire for happiness and wonder if I would have done anything extreme like they did to find that in their shoes.

The fact that the Morties we saw in this episode who died looked no older than our Morty, none of them having lived up to adulthood. They all died before they could live full-fledged lives of their own. And judging by Big Legs Summer's comments about how Big Legs Rick microwaved their Morty, at least some of them were due to their Ricks being careless as usual.

Wonder what this says about Morties having Ricks in their lives not conducive to their longevity. And our Morty was very lucky to have lived this long due to his Rick being not as careless with him (and also having numerous ways to bring him back to life anyways) whereas these Morties seem to have died permanently with none of the Ricks able to bring them back.

One thing you really got to appreciate about Rick and Morty is how much the writers really love continuity. The animators really went all out in making sure to put as many Alien species we have seen in past Seasons in the same camp.

How many can you spot in that episode alone?

We have Bird People, Gromflomites, Gear people, Those Numericons, Mr. Stabby's species, those Corn People from Interdimensional Cable, Mr. Poopybutthole's species, Chuds, and that's as far as I could remember.

And all of them happen to have teenage brats they send to the same Camp though probably not a good idea to have the worst of them all in one place.
