Drinking water solutions?

Hi all, new to the area and curious what everyone recommends for drinking water? Do you all install filters under your sinks or faucets? Or do you use bottled water, etc? Curious what the best option is on the beach. Would love to use a local service! Basically just wanting clean, filtered drinking water at a good price

Sketchy areas to avoid?

Will be new to the beach (South/mid) and are there any areas I should avoid walking alone especially at night as a female? I’ve heard some areas can be sketchy but not sure which ones. Thanks all

Can’t decide between midtown/Edgewater or Sobe

Help - needing to move and unsure of which area to end up in. I want to get rid of my car and be somewhere walkable to grocery stores, gyms, restaurants, cafes, and shopping.

I’ve toured a lot of places in both (wanting a nice building w nice amenities) and am really torn between the two. I’m in my early 30s and wfh and very active/looking to make friends since I’m new in the area.

Which location would you suggest and why?? Pricing is fairly the same for the buildings I’ve looked at. The only con is the Sobe units themselves are much older, but the buildings/amenities are beautiful and resort like with water views.

Living without car in Edgewater/wynwood??

Anyone have experience living without a car in Edgewater or Wynwood? Would be working from home and using all grocery stores and gyms within walking distance and would save so much money that I could uber outside of that area 1-2 times per week and still save.

Thoughts?

Young Arts Campus?? Closure?

What happened to the Young Arts Campus on Biscayne? It looks like it used to be so vibrant and beautiful so it’s sad to see it in such disrepair and closure. Any insight? It’s off 22nd and Biscayne in Edgewater/Wynwood area

How to enroll - priority pass?

Are we supposed to pay for the Annual Fee and then get reimbursed? I see the Standard is $99 annually and then the “recommended” Standard Plus is $329. I didn’t realize there was a charge or different tiers. Just wanting to make sure I enroll in the right one to get reimbursed!

How to get out of bachelorette party

Long story short, I’m not a big partier and my friend is having her bachelorette in Vegas and I’m not comfortable going and doing the activities they have planned. How can I get out of it but still maintain the friendship? Thanks in advance for your help, I’m very nervous about telling her I can’t go

Timing of reimbursement?

Hi all! Brand new to the platinum family so apologies if this is a silly question - I used my Saks, Lululemon, and hotel credit this week. How long before I see it reimbursed on my card?

Just curious on the timing/what you all typically experience. Thanks!

Botox sickness?

I’ve been getting Botox consistently for over three years now across my forehead and masseters and never had any issue. However, after this most recent time (same injector and same amount of units) I have felt quite sick afterwards. Almost flu-like symptoms with extreme fatigue and cold/sinus symptoms for three weeks now. Nothing severe enough to go to the dr but definitely enough to notice it and feel off.

Has this happened to anyone else? I’m starting to feel slightly better but this is definitely unusual for me so wanted to see if anyone else has a similar experience?

Foundations that don’t break you out?

Not sure if it’s my skin changing or Maybelline changing their formulas but my go to foundations are breaking me out like crazy!

Looking for a rec for full coverage for dry skin, so nothing matte. Any suggestions?? I’m fair skinned if that adjusts recs at all. Thanks!!

Anyone else getting the feeling that Mia and Scott have broken up? I can’t find any evidence of their relationship on her socials and swore it used to be there! She’s also giving off amazing single girl energy so I have a feeling they’ve called it quits. Not shocking after what she said on the last episode about their relationship needing to change but still!

Hi all, I’m going to be moving away from my current Hub city and the new city I’m going to doesn’t have a Delta Hub so unfortunately I will be canceling my reserve card. The cost just won’t be worth it anymore.

With that being said, what are some other good travel rewards cards? I’m not wanting to stay loyal to one particular airline anymore. (Hoping to stay away from the Chase ecosystem as my husband has this so I want something to compliment/get different benefits and different lounges!)

Thanks all!
