Can't wait to get this on the BBQ! Frugal idea. Buy expiring food at clearance prices and put it in the freezer! I like to take a lap around the grocery store once in a while to see if anything is about to spoil. If I find anything I pounce. Got ten pounds of chicken drumsticks for ten dollars. I have ten pounds of sketchy wieners in my freezer and it cost me five dollars. Sometimes deli meat goes on special for pennies on the dollar in the Flash Foods app. When it does I'm in there like a hyena. I make a ton of sandwiches and freeze them.

Got my cabbage from a $5 mystery produce bag. Used a lemon from the same bag to make the dressing. Potatoes were $2 for a ten pound bag.

Did a circuit across Champlain bridge, over Alexandria bridge and back.

Spotted the Champlain Park turkey while heading down to the river for a walk.
