I was about to give up on this one. Thanksgiving is gonna be one to remember.

My oh my, this is delightful. That deep dark charred oak, apple, and butterscotch.

Mortal Bloom Sinister Haze deviously disguises an abundance of juicy orange and peach hop notes, accented with fresh floral aromas. Shocking your taste buds with vivid flavors that are balanced with its silky, smooth finish, this India Pale Ale reveals that not all things sinister are necessarily bad.

I have been looking forward to this one since it was announced.

This has the weirdest damn note I have ever had in a bourbon - Teriyaki. In a weird way, I am really enjoying this one.

This batch of RR13 actually consist of no 13 year bourbon. It’s all 14-18 year.

Notes: dark cherries, molasses, sweet cigar wrapper, finishes with some toffee and dark chocolate.

Arguably one of the best pours I have had this year.

I am sure this will ruffle some feathers, but here is my ranking of the three tasted:

Wild Turkey 16 Year Cheesy Gold Foil 🥈
Notes: cola, leather, tobacco, oily, finished with some oak spice and brown sugar.

Wild Turkey Masters Keep Beacon 🥉
Notes: floral, crème brulee, and a heavy dose of that wild turkey funk.

This is one of my favorite ryes I have had to date. Notes of honey baked tropical fruits on the front. Peppery milk chocolate stands out the most in the palate. Finish is dominated by baking spice. I love this rye.
