At what time is your OCD the worst? (flare ups, intrusive thoughts rushing into your mind etc.)

For me:

1- Since I have also PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder), my OCD gets worse during the week before my period
2- Whenever I don’t get enough sleep
3- Whenever something new happens. It doesn’t matter whether it is a positive or negative change, it creates stress for me (a new relationship, friendship, apartment, job).
4- Anything uncertain.

Men, what helped you when sex didn’t work as expected with a new partner?

I (28F) have been dating my boyfriend (around my age) for about a month. Everything between us is amazing so far: we are very affectionate, constantly kissing, cuddling, hugging, snuggling and there is a lot of physical attraction between us. He tells me he finds me attractive, and I genuinely feel desired by him. The only issue is sex. He has trouble maintaining an erection during intercourse. He can get hard with oral stimulation, but after that, when we try to move to penetration, he often loses it.
At first I didn’t think much of it, but now I’m wondering what we can do about it. I don’t think he isn’t attracted to me because his behavior shows the opposite. He is also active, works out, eats relatively healthy, and takes vitamins/supplements.
I suggested that he see a doctor just to rule out any physical issues, and he said okay.
For men who have experienced something similar:
Was it performance anxiety or something else?
What helped you overcome it?
Did it get better with time and less pressure?
I’m not looking to blame him. I really like him and want to support him. I’m just curious about other people’s experiences. Thank you. :)

PMDD and OCD I want to leave everything behind

Every month before my period, I feel like I want to die. I constantly feel stressed, threatened, and end up crying, even though nothing is actually going wrong in my life. My intrusive thoughts are killing mez
I have been trying to treat my OCD for years, but I am exhausted from emotionally falling apart every single month, even though I am taking medication.
I am tired of seeing something negative in everything and constantly digging up to find a one single negative thing and use it as a dagger to kill myself with. I am tired of constantly feeling like I am in danger, even in my healthy, loving relationship. Every month suicidal thougts are coming and I don’t know what to do. I feel like no matter which antidepressants I am on, I will suffer from this chemical inbalance in my brain till the end of my life. No matter how hard I try to educate myself by reading books, going to therapy (although I am not nowadays due to financial reasons) and thinking logically, I still end up like shit.

My Haircare Journey 🫶🏻

I’m talking about a change that feels huge to me, even if it might seem small to others.

For as long as I can remember, whenever I went through a depressive period, I would change my hair. I’ve dyed it blue, platinum blonde, black, and pretty much every color in between. Now, for the first time in years, I’m slowly growing out my natural hair color again.

I just wanted to share a bit of my progress. My hair has also gotten noticeably thicker over time. If anyone is interested, I’d be happy to share my routine.

I also trimmed the ends regularly during this process, so the length growth might not be very obvious in the pictures, but the overall health and density have improved a lot. :)
