Don't really have anything else to expand on, I returned to Tomodachi Life (3DS) and that's the conclusion I came to as to why the newer game just couldn't pull me in. I have about 800 hours in the 3DS edition but could only play the new one for about 2 weeks. I think you can make the exact same statement about Animal Crossing too, another series where I couldn't get into the Switch game at all but returned to older ones and realized what was missing. I thought it was just nostalgia talking initially.

I don't think that makes LTD a bad game, just a game with a different design philosophy

I know that they're very well-recognized but even then, i think having as consistently great of a discography for as long as they have maintained it while also making music that oftentimes doesn't really sound like anything else is really impressive. Their debut sucks and is definitely them trying to figure out what they're trying to do here, but overall their run from 1998-2013 is quite something with the volume of work they released and how high the quality floor is. And then to return 10 years later with ATTA, which I was worried would be bad, but it felt like they never left.

Their sound probably isn't for everyone but they are real standouts for me, as is Jonsi's solo work and especially his work with Alex Somers. Riceboy Sleeps is probably in my top 5 favorite albums ever.

Basically what I'm saying is, I think Sigur Ros is regarded as a good/great band while I regard them as among the greatest bands ever.

Also hot take but Svefn-g-englar probably doesn't even crack their top 25 songs for me.

Zack going on a 4-match losing streak, SANADA and Goto getting the headlock over, Shingo losing in main events to Tsuji, Boltin, and Yuto, the four former world champions in the tournament really worked hard to get the next generation over.

Jake also going into his match with Boltin saying "there is no way I can beat this guy, just look at him!" and then soundly losing was brilliant
