Now that Jun and Valiente have had their match and everyone is at the same amount played.
Or I feel it's more accurate to say Will Toledo re-released Teens of Denial but removed all the swear words
It's not a new recording either, it's the old recording with some new lyrics mixed in very obviously and poorly. There are some brand new songs on there as well to be fair which are fine.
Bizarre. I could be argued into calling Teens of Denial the greatest rock album of the 21st century, I like How to Leave Town, outside of that my opinion of his work is sour. It feels like nowadays he hasn't a clue who he even is or what he wants to say.

i'm not even bothered by his singles matches so far per say but it's more like he has had a single tag match that wasn't against house of torture, when he randomly teamed with yasuda against knock out brothers during NJC and it was the most interesting he's been outside of his debut
really feels like a waste that the first 6 months of his career or so will be spent in hontai vs. house of torture tag matches
This DOUKI reign is a proper reign of terror, they need to get the belt off of him as soon as possible
The last time I saw this film I was a high schooler at the peak of this movie's meme-ability online in the early 2010's. I went with my friends and we did all the jokes of calling out the lines as they happened and throwing spoons etc.
My father wanted to show one of his friends the film and I came with them, I ended up really not enjoying it lol. It made me feel like I have become so cynical. In an (online) culture that has so thoroughly torn apart and shamed the Star Wars/Marvel fan phenotype I was pretty nauseous in a room full of people who were all playing the "I know what that thing is, I know what that character's about to say, I know a behind-the-scenes fact about that" game.
Also, the guy who plays Mark in the film has made a career out of hosting showings of this film and doing little monologue's beforehand and Q&A's after. I'm not sure how I feel about that, and I can't put it into words, other than the general notion of "bottomfeeding." He was there when I saw it, and he even sat with a microphone and gave live commentary for the first 20 minutes of the film, which I found annoying and I feel if you were watching it for the first time it would've ruined your experience. He left the cinema when his character had his first sex scene.
I will say the film itself holds up as entertainingly horrible, it's been a solid 15 years since I had last seen it so I had forgotten the majority of it. It had me gut-busting laughing at certain points, I think my favorite was the absurdity of the line "You hosted me a party and invited all of my friends, good thinking." Also the amount of establishing shots was killing me. It'd be a great film to watch at a house party, but being among a crowd of people all trying to get themselves over was painful for me. I don't think my analysis is incorrect, but I still feel like a bit of an ass about it.
it is also victory in europe day

what does this sub think of alex g. is he tiktok slop
i got into him around the time beach music was released and followed him up until house of sugar, in that time i listened to pretty much every "unreleased" song he has as well
i fell off of him after that, in that time he exploded. it really is some of the most random songs that exploded, if you are a fan of his from the earlier days it's so weird to see that like 16 mirrors and advice were some of the ones that got him popular
anyways because i fell off then i never listened to his recent two albums but i did this past month and i really enjoyed them. i expected not to but was pleasantly surprised. the songs miracles and logan hotel are some of his overall best work and reflect how much he's grown as an artist/person throughout his careeer
i started thinking about it and, this guy has never released an album i dislike, is constantly trying new things, and figured out his own sound from a very young age. he released race before he turned 17. is alex g one of my favorite musicians of all time? he might be
i have seen him a couple times the past years as well i saw him on this most recent tour and he was phenomenal but i heard he gets really plastered at shows too lol.
my favorite alex g songs are let it go, go away, miracles, sandy, and harvey
i'm talking about matches you enjoy that truly got no discussion or recognition on online spaces
my pick would be the b block finals of world tag league 2024, that was an impromptu triple threat between naito/hiromu, narita/EVIL and boltin/yano due to HENARE getting injured
just a super well-structured that match that began with EVIL and narita handcuffing naito, boltin and yano and beating down hiromu in retaliation to him trolling them through the tournament and ending with boltin getting a big showcase spot against naito and hiromu before getting pinned. great stuff
really excited for the guys future, he is fucking hilarious, and seems to have his whole personality already figured out. he's got a great look and is super athletic in-ring.
i think he should get a g1 qualifying match, like a first-round loss to hartley jackson or taichi or something
I was listening to Solomonster Sounds Off and he was covering the New Day leaving WWE, he said that Kofi Kingston is among elite company in terms of winning a WWE title match at WrestleMania. So I decided to see what that list actually looks like.

Bret Hart
Kevin Nash

Callum Newman retains in surely the best match of his career thus far.
Post-match, Callum sets up a match on the "Ignition" show in two days - Tsuji and Takagi vs. Callum and Jake. If either of them can pin him, they will get a title match at Dominion.
Also post-match HENARE, Andrade and Callum all got into an argument with some random fan lol
I'm not exaggerating when I say this had me sweating with how hard I was laughing.
