What to do if I missed a library book?😢

I registered it in my roll number... Kept it somewhere around the campus and went back to class...didnt even read a single word from it yet I've lost it.

Should I pay a fine? If yes, where and how much? Will they yell or keep any black marks for this?

Doubt regarding C programming...

I scored a 79 in C theory exam

Not proud of my internals but it's not catastrophic (195/300)

Yet... I got an arrear because I didn't pass the test case during practical

Could I reappear only for the practicals and not for the theory or mandatory both should be re-given?

AITAH for leaving my boyfriend cuz I found out he's been diagnosed with hepatitis-B, due to doing dr*gs in the past?

My boyfriend of one year just revealed that his severe stomach pain was due to hepatitis-B. He apparently got it through injecting drugs from his homeboys. He's known the diagnosis for a while but was scared to tell me. I broke up. Because we've kissed multiple times and talked about being intimate, he never once disclosed this to me. I even bit his lip multiple times, I could've seriously been exposed to blood or something if it weren't for luck.

But at the same time, I understand why he hid it from me....and I feel kinda bad.

We're both 18.

EDIT: i forwarded this thread to him and guys😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭he lied about the diagnosis, or is lying now about not having it?? idk, he's saying he never had hepatitis and that he lied just to get me back. Good Lord. I'm so sorry for wasting y'alls time and energy. But I don't fuckign know any more

I'm being harassed and idk what to do.

F18I'm making this post because I geniunely feel like this man M18 has isolated me so much that my frnds think I'll get back together with that bastard. Just no.

I met this guy at college and we were together for around a year. Things were initially good (almost too good) , but he became increasingly controlling and the relationship turned extremely toxic. We were constantly fighting and eventually everyone knew us as the "trouble couple" in a already strict college. Even got suspended for PDA and stuff...almost got kicked out (and that's huge because my education means a lot and my parents spent a Lot for it)

I broke up with him because I was completely done with his lies and toxicity.

The problem is that he absolutely refuses to accept the breakup.

He follows me around campus and knows exactly where I'll be cuz he knows my routine. I've blocked his calls and messages and I've repeatedly told him in person that I don't want him to follow or approach me. He still does it.

During lunch recently, he followed me through basically the entire campus while I was desperately trying to get away from him. I was crying and yelling at him to leave me alone, and he still wouldn't stop. I ended up not even eating. This has happened several times.

He has also physically blocked my way and touched me and dragged me while others just watched. Even after I've told him to leave me alone. He keeps saying he's still my boyfriend and touches me when he clearly fucking isn't. I've ended the relationship and I don't want any contact with him.

I've already tried telling my college staffs about it even tho it's super risky given my history of suspension (cuz they basically said if I cause any trouble, ANY, they'll kick me out of college..And I signed that contract myself, so I know they meant it.

I'm scared because I don't feel like I can freely move around my own campus anymore. At the same time, I'm terrified of escalating this because we've already had issues in the past and I don't want this to somehow become another problem for me. And my parents are even more toxic. They will not support me through this.

I genuinely don't know what I'm supposed to do anymore. I feel completely trapped and fucking lonely in this.

What do I even do? I'm so fucking stressed I'm starting to hate college and just skipping every single day... Ever since the break I've just been waking up dreading what's about to come.

His mom brought him to a psychiatrist but literally 0 improvement. He's self harming and cutting his arm up saying Its out of love. It's fucking not. Gosh

Is there a way to drag in a sample and make edits on it?

I'm a freshman in engineering and we're supposed to build a bipedal robot. First step was to built the prototype using Cad. So i started doing the entire thing from scratch with zero experience and was shamed by my professor for not knowing. But how am I supposed to know??? I downloaded this thing like few months ago. He did mention that I can use pre-made stuff and just edit them/dismantle and rearrange parts for practice...how???

How do I actually become financially independent?

I'm 18F from a third world country and I've sort of just hit my exhaustion point (for today, atleast) spent the whole day applying for internships paying just ₹1,000–₹2,000/month (roughly $10–20). It just made me realize how far I am from the life I actually wanna live. My family isn't supportive at all and I want to become financially independent as soon as possible. I have a basic Android phone, I'm in college (Biomedical Engineering), and I think one of my strengths is that I'm good at English and willing to work hard. I don't mind learning difficult skills if they'll actually pay off, I swear I'm not tryna sound like I'm in an interview- it's just that i spent the whole day doing it...

I'm not asking for "get rich quick" hacks. If becoming a millionaire takes 10–20 years, fine. But I don't know where to start.I just don't want to spend these upcoming years climbing the wrong ladder. If you could give one piece of advice to your 18-year-old self about building wealth, what would it be? What skill would you learn? What would you avoid? What would you do differently?

HOW THE HELL DOES THE ALGORITHM WORK

I've been posting man, they just WON'T cross 200 views. And the graph??? It's like this. They increase for a good hour and a half and just flateline like crazy. Is my content just geniunely bad (I post beginner-level art) or is instagram just luck-based and doesn't give a damn about hard work?

A dollar may not change your life, but it could change someone else's.

Every day, countless women and children from all around the world wake up without things many of us rarely think twice about; access to education, proper nutrition, basic hygiene, or even sanitary products.

It's easy to scroll past numbers and statistics. It's much harder to imagine what it feels like to grow up believing those basic necessities are luxuries.

I'm an 18-year-old first-year college student currently interning with She Can Foundation. As part of my internship, I'm helping raise funds to support their work with women and children in need.

I'm not asking for a huge contribution. Even a dollar or two can become part of something bigger when enough people decide that helping is worth it.

If you'd like to support the cause, here's the official donation link:https://www.shecanfoundation.org/donate

If you donate, please enter my name (Sunitha) where prompted so the Foundation can track my fundraising efforts. Also...please DM me a screenshot of where you've attached your name and my name (as the one through whom you donate) in the document so that the foundation can keep track of my contribution as well. Thank you so much.

If you're unable to contribute, I completely understand. Simply taking the time to read this post means a lot. Thank you.

What's your favourite airline for domestic travel?

I don't think there's a "perfect" one yet, but what airline do you think comes close to perfect?

If you're booking your flights in Air India this week, consider yourself lucky.

This isn't an advertisement but I just figured out AIR india is offering 15%!!! You heard that right, 15% offer and other facilities like extra baggage, even a date change for people who book through a particular code. my frnd shared that with me and I'm sharing it with those who need it. If you don't need it, feel free to ignore this post. Thanks y'all and happy travels <3

Does this college include history of arrear in the final transcript?

Out of curiosity, let's say i get a C and pass an exam. And my friend gets an U (arrear) and shows up for the arrear exam and gets an A, while i don't get a second chance and I'm just stuck with a C grade. So who's got the upper hand here? Does the A she got in arrear exam completely replace her U and leaves her with no drawbacks even tho she cleared it in a later attempt? Can anyone answer this??
