We all know about an ENFPs love for INFJs and INTJs. As I started myers-briggsing everybody in my life a few years ago, it worked out pretty much the way I thought it would. Most of the people in my life I am close to you were INFJ, ENFJ, ENTP, INTJ.

However there was one type that kept popping up all over that surprised me..ISFJ, my wife included. We've been married for 20 years and are still just as happy as we ever were.

I think one of the reasons we get along so well is our loyalty. As an ENFP I'm a social butterfly of course. I have lots of friends and lots of different interests. My wife however couldn't care less about social interaction. On a Friday night after the busy week, we might have dinner together. Then I might go to the bar and have a couple beers, while she lays in bed and reads her book. I feel like we're polar opposites, but all of my strengths are her weaknesses and all of her weaknesses are my strengths.

What we do share is loyalty, and compassion for people. But once again we do it in completely different ways. We have four kids. Our three girls are intuitives like me and our son is a sensor like her. She cares for them through servitude. She loves making sure they have everything they need physically. I'm usually the one that comes in during a crash out. Soothes their emotions.

Have any other ENFPs found ISFJs to be unsung heroes in their life?

Hello all, ENFP 43m. I'll start by saying y'all are my people. Four of my closest friends I've ever had in my life are female INTJ. We're just able to speak at such a depth that's hard to find in this world. Almost never any drama. Always understanding and insightful. I infinitely value those friedships with all my heart.

The last few weeks I've heard independently from a couple of these friends that they felt like they had more masculine energy than females of other types. A feeling like they were better equipped for make friends than female friends.

It's deeper than sexual preferences, or tomboy characteristics, or even their lifestyle choices, but at the soul level. They naturally feel more comfortable with male friends than female. They also felt like they had more traditional masculine interests than females of other types.

I am genuinely interested to see if other INTJs felt this way, or if you have more insight on the topic? It really piqued my curiosity when I heard both of them say that. 😊

43m, A few years ago I started MBTI testing everyone in my life that would take the test. What I discovered surprised me. Nearly all the people I'm close to in life are INTJs, and INFJs...just like the books say.

When I discovered this I started really learning everything I could about INTJs, not just academically, but IRL.

Hey guys, I've been working on this checklist that I feel like represent my traits as an ENFP. I am curious to see if any resonate, or if they don't.... I would also love to add some if you have ideas.

ENFP checklist

Allow me some assumptions..

You get a long with anyone you want, but don't cross you.

You're a part of every crowd, but never REALLY a part of any crowd.

You are a social chameleon.

You hate. Fake. People. And you can spot them in the first 3 seconds.

You pretty much know who someone is as a person within the first five minutes.....

You do not like people that have authority over you.

You're smart. Really smart, but people sleep on you sometimes because you like to goof around.

You're usually really good at stuff.

You feel alone in the world.

Teachers aren't good at connecting with you so you have to teach yourself everything.

You love being social, but when your social battery gets too low you disappear for awhile.

You fill everyone's cup all the time, but nobody fill yours in return. So when your cup goes empty you have to take time out to refill it yourself and you temporarily hate everyone bc they don't reciprocate. But after a few days you're back.

Obsessed. With. Music.

You feel EVERYTHING.

You consider yourself a huge extrovert, but if you were honest with yourself, you're most happy in your solitude.

You've had a million hobbies.

Sentimental to a fault.

Center of attention. You are the main character in most rooms.

Everyone thinks you're flirting. Really you're just being nice.

People consider you a goof in every day life, but look for your guidance in an emergency.

You have a million friends in your outside circles, but have only 1 or no really close friends.

You never ask anyone for anything. If you can't do it yourself, it's not going to happen.

I've always loved Myers Briggs. Few years ago I started talking to people about the types, and keeping a list on my phone of what type people are. This has greatly helped me use my pattern recognition to understand the diffent types.

For example...maybe all three of these people are ISTP Different ages, genders backgrounds, religion..clearly all different people. So what they all have in common is the expression of that type.

After several years Ive collected hundreds of peoples types. It's honestly become a fun way to get to know people. I can usually get people to take the test as soon as I meet them.

Anyway, just wondering if anvone else is this much of a weirdo.
