Rescued this sweet boy on Saturday! His name is Aegon from GoT. I do believe he has some hound in him.

We got our Anatolian shepherd, Atlas, a weenie/ hound mix, Aegon, and it’s safe to say he’s in love with him

We are adopting this sweet Dachshund mix boy on saturday and need help coming up with a name! My boyfriend and I are huge nerds and love all things fantasy, sci fi, movies, tv shows, video games, open RPG games, etc! We have another dog named Atlas. Thanks in advance!

I am rescuing/ adopting this sweet baby on Saturday and although I am very experienced in animal care including dogs, cats, and various types of poultry it has been many years since I have personally owned a puppy as most of the dogs I’ve rescued have been adults or around 1 years old. I am looking for some tips and tricks that made your life easier during the first couple of months acclimating your puppy to your home and life in general. I’ve got pet insurance for all of my babies and things like a kennel for kennel training, etc I am just curious what some have to say. Thank you in advance!

what breed does this baby look like? it says dachshund/Catahoula mix but I am just not seeing it at all. Maybe the dachshund but definitely not Catahoula. I know it’s hard to tell since it’s a 2 month old puppy. But I am just curious what others think. He is 2 months, 5 lbs and we are in Texas, USA. TIA!

I’m sorry for the unfinished wall and my laundry baskets, i’m working on my antique gallery and just moved! But curious what people think?

We have had our boy for almost a year now. He is an anatolian mix, maybe with some pyrenees. Ever since we got him he has struggled with eating his food, we’ve gone through several different kinds of food and we have finally fell on Hills Science Diet: Sensitive Stomach and Skin. He still refuses to eat most days. He is just picky, because he loves to eat treats. We put several different supplements in his food just for health in general: hip supplements, Omega 3 Oil, and he gets some glandex powder as he has a hard time expressing his glands himself.

The vet says it’s normal for his breed to not want to eat, but the thing is he’s lost 4 lbs in 5 months and he has gotten worse about eating. He also has some anxiety, he throws up in the car, he runs away from random objects he see’s my husband and I use (i.e. a hair clip) so i’m wondering if that’s the problem? But the thing is, he’s been through training, and he is very well trained in all basic commands (even some advanced training) and we have been working on his confidence which has helped, but the eating doesn’t get better. I have tried Doggy Bone Broth in his food, eggs from our chickens, pumpkin purree and he always will eat around his actual food. We have even tried some wet food and he’s just like nah.

I’m hoping to get some advice and see if anyone else has experienced this and what they did? He’s super healthy with absolutely no problems (other than the anxiety) which I assume comes from his life before we rescued him. He loves to exercise and go on adventures (see photos lol), so i’m just at a bit of a loss after going through so many different kinds of foods. Thanks in advance!

This is day 5 post- op and kitty has a small amount of discharge at the bottom. I took her to the vet today and the vet said it could be caused by her licking it but there is no possible way as she has had a onesie and cone on the entire healing process. Has anyone else’s kitty had a small amount of clear discharge on their incision and it ended up being fine? She got a shot of antibiotics today so no worry for infection if it continues. She’s eating and drinking fine, as well as potty.

Hello everyone!

My cat has a small bump at the bottom of her incision and some swelling. The bump
is relatively hard but can be squished a bit (i’m not applying too much pressure) and it doesn’t seem to irritate her. She’s eating and drinking fine, as well as using the bathroom. She has a onesie on and a donut of shame as she wants to lick it terribly. She got her surgery done Friday the 22nd, so two days ago. She does have a bit of hair her stuck in the bottom to the glue which i’ve just left alone. I just want to see if her site looks okay and that the swelling is normal, I’ve spent a lot of money at the vet this week due to other problems (I would of course rush her to the vet if there was an apparent problem).

Hi everyone! I was curious on if these are roots or not and why they might be growing out of the soil?

I also wanted to ask how I can prevent the brown on the bottom of the plant, I only water when the soil gets dry. I live in south texas so it’s pretty humid down here. It also gets bright filtered light through a south facing window. TIA. 😊

so I’ve had this for about a week and a half now, it first started on my stomach in the first photo and has progressed to the last couple of pictures on my stomach, back, and breasts. It is also now on my neck and traveling into my scalp. my NP said that it is ring worm and prescribed me at first a shampoo and now Terbafine. It is so terrible itchy and miserable. I just wanted others opinions on if this looks like ring worm or some type of reaction? (I’ve never had allergic reactions before to anything).
