3rd denial

Okay I applied March 28th 2023. Denied for the first time August of 2024. Sent to a mental health exam November 6th 2025. Was denied November 28th 2025. After the first denial I retained an attorney they appealed it I'm sorry they reconsidered it then they appealed the reconsideration denial on November 30th. Had an alj hearing scheduled July 8th 2026 and got the denial notification from my attorney and the Houston North hearing office today, the decision letter was mailed out on the 13th of this month.

My attorney has stated that she is send a brief and my file to an appellate firm for federal court I am confused does this mean that I don't go through the SSA appeals council or I've already gone through the appeal council and is going straight to the federal court appeal.

I'm just really confused so if anybody can shed some light because I cannot access my social security account via the social security website because I have a VoIP protocol phone number.

Just what I need

After I got the order for this customer he messaged me this. And as you can see I told him as per doordash policy if not in the main app we are not allowed to make any orders outside of the app. So I switch over to customer support got somebody right fast. Let me state that I do chat support not phone support.

So while I'm on with support this dinglehopper decides to call me through doordash and he keeps on going you get my cigarettes I'll pay you and I'll tip you $100 he kept on and on. So I told support that and then I get a notification that they have remove customer from the platform due to him doing unsafe practices.

By the way he was ordering three 12 pack bottles of Michelob ultra

New place to use benefits texas

I messaged the mods and I was approved to post this.

Gordon's food restaurant store not only has the distribution centers but they actually have stores where the public can go in and buy for their families. I use my food stamp benefits last month at the Gordon's on 1960 in Houston Texas.

I got 15 dozen eggs for $12.99 and these are the extra large. I cross price checked with Costco's and Sam's and respectively they both came out to 21 to $22. The best thing about Gordon's is they don't require a membership.

The downside to them is that if you want to do the order online you can't use your benefits online you can send the order in, they'll fill it then you go to the store swipe your benefits card and you're out the door. I think last month I spent at Gordon's all total $290 and that feeds me my wife and my autistic adult child. If you'd like the link because I don't know if I can put it in here if you'd like the link just hit me up with a message

Update on my hearing

I have my hearing on July 8th 2016, with an ALJ. I had the VE respond to 4 hypotheticals with 3 no job answers and 1 that had 2 sedentary jobs. Afterwards, the judge stated, he wasn't asking for a post hearing medical exam and the record was closed. He also said that he had a ruling in mind and he needed a few days to make sure his ruling aligned with the SSA blue book.

After speaking with my attorney, we both believe that it will be favorable for both benefits programs as the judge amended the onset dates to before I filed in 2023.

I spoke to the Houston North hearing office on July 22nd 2026 and they explain that my dire needs letter made my file go to the top of the list and that my ruling is with the writers. Because of the dire notation on my file, I should know something in 30-45 days after my hearing.

Fingers crossed

Could this mean a favorable ruling?

my disability hearing was on july 8 2026 for hidradenitis suppurativa with ongoing sepsis infection. i can't sit for long periods of time without moving around that is still painful. i have to lay down without wearing clothes because my hs spots leak all over my bedding and my clothes

The judge asked the ve about jobs with minimal restrictions such as no stairs no lifting above 5 pounds along with no stooping. The ve said two sedentary jobs in the national economy database. The judge then added three extra 15 minute breaks through the day, ve said there were no jobs. Then the ve was asked about laying down and the wearing of no clothes by my attorney due to the leaking of the spots and the amount of pain I'm in. They said definitely there were no jobs. After that I was asked if I had a driver's license, I affirmed that I did but would only drive an average of 5 times a month. Doctor appointments for my partner who is a wheelchair and myself, plus going to the grocery store.

my amended on set date set by judge was march 27 2023 from January 14 2016 and we did it based on work credits, I worked every year from 1996 to 2009 then from 2014 to 2023.

the judge stated he had a ruling in mind but needed more time to look at evidence. my most recent hospitalization for HS and sepsis was January 2026. the judge stated the medical records and record was final and closed.

I'm in Texas and my attorney stated that she felt it went very well especially since they got the no clothes and laying down into the official record. the judge stated he needed a few weeks to get his ruling down.

Handicap parking misappropriation

Update: I talk to property manager and Found out the nightshift clerk is the assistant manager and he called the security company when he came on duty at seven p.m. today. Apparently the guard last night was not the usual security guard on duty. our regular one is on paternity leave. any hooty, the replacement guard was on his last warning with our property and he is no longer allowed to be posted here. Apparently I was the last in a long list.

I'm so pissed off right now, I just got back to my studio apartment with my wife who is in a wheelchair (that's important) and I have an invisible disability. We have a handicap placard or hang tag if you prefer.

well i pull up to the 4 handicapped parking spots. All four are full. Three of them have placard or plates. The fourth one is a security vehicle, no handicap plates or placard in sight. The front desk was asked to page the security officer to come move his vehicle while my wife's kid went and got her wheelchair out of the back of our van. The Security officer came out saw the wheelchair and then proceeded to question me about needing the parking spot. He then told me that I didn't need it since the wheelchair was already out of the vehicle.

Now I may have been the AH when I told him you can't question me or my family about a disability and handicap Access plus you have been told before not to park in handicap spaces.

Favorable ruling coming maybe

I applied for disability for Hidradenitis suppurtiva on March 27th 2023 with a onset date of January 14th 2016. My attorney has been great she's made sure I got on my paperwork met every interview with the local offices I got denied in September of 2025 appealed it and then had a hearing on July 8th of 2026.

There was me my attorney the law judge and the vocational expert via phone call. The judge asked me and my attorney if me had any problems if he amended the onset date. We both said no. My attorney asked me questions that we had gone over then turned it over to the judge he asked me some questions I answered I stated my disability but I can drive but I can't drive long. Maybe going to my doctor's office going to grocery. The judge then turn to the vocational expert and ask one question with exacting limitations. Vocational experts stated that there was two sedentary jobs I could do then the judge put more exactly limitations on the hypothetical and the vocational expert said no there was no jobs in the national economy database. Then it was my lawyer's turn, three-faced her questioning she said she only had two questions then stated I've never had to ask this question at all. the first question was is there any job in the national economy database that my client can do without wearing clothes. Second question was can she lay down if there are any jobs in the national economy database. again the answer was no.

the judge did say that he had a general ruling but he wanted to look over the evidence of closely before Making his ruling. looking at some of the favorable outcomes listings of what is leaning for the favorable outcome like amending my onset date and what not. Could I be seeing a favorable ruling

Doordashing and get told it's not work

Hi I'm in Texas, and I got the health and human services for h 1822 which is the able-bodied employment and training form for workforce solutions. I uploaded all of my doordashing information like how many hours I work how much I'm making a week for my renewal, the caseworker that called me for my interview told me I have to have the form h 1822 filled out by workforce solutions because apparently doordashing is not a job.

Fast forward to June 29th, workforce solutions calls me because I went to their office got put on the phone call list for them to call me back I explained the situation I was like I do anywhere from 20 to 60 hours doordashing I make about $500 $600 a week before any expenses come out, and they're like okay we don't need to fill out h 1822 but I would recommend you going to your local health and human services office and speak with them.

So should I go should I not go I'm just asking the food stamp mods or anybody who's in Texas has had this situation happen

edit: here is the proof of all of May 2026 income

WTH DD

I'm in the Houston market and I have been online since 8:30 this morning. It is now 2:45 pm and I have yet to get delivery offer. I'm in a hot spot next to 4 Mexican restaurants a Pizza Hut and a salt grass steak house and NADA.

Is it me or is doordash being slow

Landloord verification form.

Okay I'm in Houston Texas and I have a question about the landlord verification form. Let me start by stating that up until April I had been homeless and now I am staying in an extended stay motel. I did my recertification Monday the 15th and had the interview on the 16th. Just got the paperwork that states what they need I uploaded everything like my banking statements I uploaded a receipt from the motel and as I'm looking through that paperwork I see the landlord verification and I'm wondering how does that work with a hotel.
