[Playstation 1] [I DONT KNOW THE YEAR] Need help identifying a game!

[PLAYSTATION 1]
[IDK]

I recently got a PS1 at an estate sale in it is in great condition. It was my first console and there are some games I remember playing but don’t know the name of. I just got Scooby Doo Cyber Chase and am determined to beat it for the first time in my life.

There is 1 game I remember, but cannot find anywhere. I never had a memory card so id always start from square one (hoping this detail helps). It was a shooter, I believe first person and probably rated M. I remember walking into a building and you’d be able to collect loot. There’d be enemies in the building (Humans) and doors you can walkthrough. One room was a bathroom and a dude was in there. I was scared playing that game but it was fun. I was hoping you could help!

Can someone help me identify a PS1 game?

I recently got a PS1 at an estate sale in it is in great condition. It was my first console and there are some games I remember playing but don’t know the name of. I just got Scooby Doo Cyber Chase and am determined to beat it for the first time in my life.

There are 2 games im actually trying to find and ill try my best to describe them. I hope you can help and forgive me if the description isn’t good enough.

  1. This game was definitely Rated M. A shooting game probably. There is only one part I remember. Starting outside in the dark and going into a building. You’d grab loot I think and go into random doors. I think there was a bathroom and an enemy was in there. I believe it was first person as well. Can anyone help?
  2. This was a fighting game and the only one I’ve ever played. I remember 2 characters only, a blue and red one. They almost looked like some sort of power rangers or robots.

I really hope this community can point me in the right direction!

Also, I never had a memory card so id always start from the beginning. That could help with number 1.

UPDATE: Really appreciate you all trying to help! I think Ive narrowed down the first one to Die Hard Trilogy. After watching youtube videos , the second one looks like what I was trying to describe! For the second, I’m certain it was a game called Evil Zone!

Please feel free to drop some of your recommendations! Would love to hear it

Moved to another company, not the best move, but we move forward

Hey everyone,

Just kind of want to vent a bit here because I feel like it will be good for me. I worked for a big QSR for the past 2.5 years and I loved it truly. Made a lot of changes that were visible, team members loved me, had a good relationship with my manager and team.

Given that, I was looking to move because I was severely underpaid in my eyes. No bonus + 1-2% merit increases don't do much. I received a promotion to a Senior Analyst and that increased my salary by $8,000. Doesn't really do much on the check IMO.

An offer came in from another employer and it was a 20% jump to my base salary + they offered a 5% bonus. My previous employer matched the base and I initially accepted the counter, but something did not feel right at the time. So, I rescinded and went to the new employer.

It has been just over a month, and a very long one at that. I have not liked it and I felt like I made an immature move. I feel like I should've stayed due to the relationships I had plus my hybrid schedule. This position will be hybrid, but I am in a "probation" period I had no idea about. I already feel drained and i'm not sure why. I miss my old team and work. I see that grass isn't greener on the other side lol.

Would love to see if anyone has gone through the same

FP&A has been great for my experience and growth, but what can I transition to?

Hi,

I have 6+ years in FP&A. 2 years Co-op + Financial Analyst role in automotive. 1 year in Deloitte as FP&A Consultant. 3 years SFA in the QSR industry for a big player. Current in property management.

My favorite responsibility that has been given in my past 2 experiences is to "act as a strategic business partner". Which essentially holds me responsible for understanding everything going on in my respective cross-functional teams. This has allowed me to feel a sense of importance because I have seen my input taken into consideration and action.

I also love playing with data and creating dashboards. However, I hate the reporting side and using platforms that serve as trackers or have a AP/AR feel to it. Unfortunately that makes up 70% of the work.

I like being a business partner, learning the business, backing up what I say with data... Is consulting what I am looking for? Are there other roles/departments I should inquire about? Please let me know

[For Hire] Senior Financial Analyst

Hi everyone! I've spent the last 6+ years working as a senior financial analyst (FP&A: budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling).

If you run a business and could use a hand on the numbers side, I'd love to help. That could look like building a budget or forecast, putting together a dashboard so you can actually see what's going on at a glance, or just acting as an outside set of eyes on your financials. Open to one-off projects or ongoing support, whatever fits.

Feel free to comment or DM me if you want to chat!

Open to discuss rates!

What sets the individuals in the group apart?

Hi all,

Im 27 and have been working in corporate finance for the past 6 years. I have worked hard and grown in my career. I make a good amount, but just like many people I do not like it. A lot of times it feels meaningless and soulless. I have inspiration to learn a new skill, or even to scale my financial skills and start my own thing. Im confident that I can succeed because I know my willingness and determination to work hard.

However, I do feel like many people are like that, but I lack idea and creativity. I do not know what to research or where to start. I get overwhelmed and go back to square one all the time. I really do not want to end up in a endless cycle of this. I do have a family as well so it is hard committing to a big risk like sacrificing 50% of my salary to possibly do something I like more.

Would love the insight or advice of the individuals in this group. What sets you apart? Where do you get your ideas and inspiration from?

Looking for advice as someone who is pursuing a side gig

Hello,

I have been researching different things to attempt in order to make more money outside of my 9-5 and I ran into an app called Better Trucks. This made me ponder about being a courier.

What would you recommend I do to get started? Is it possible to do on the side? Anything you would like to share would be beneficial. Thank you!

Feeling stuck in finance career, is it worth leaving a corporate finance career for skilled trades or self-employment?

I’m a finance professional with ~5–6 years of experience in FP&A, manufacturing finance, and consulting, currently working as a Senior Financial Analyst supporting international markets.

My work is mostly budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, KPI reporting, and building financial dashboards for cross-functional and executive stakeholders. I’ve built a solid career in finance and am comfortable in it, but I’ve been increasingly questioning whether it’s the right long-term path for me.

Lately, I’ve been feeling more drawn toward work that is more hands-on, independent, and structured around tangible output rather than corporate reporting cycles. I’ve also been thinking seriously about long-term freedom and the ability to control my own schedule.

Right now, I’m considering a few different directions:

  • Starting an electrician apprenticeship or entering a skilled trade
  • Using my finance background for bookkeeping / freelance work to eventually become self-employed
  • Staying in FP&A but pivoting toward more flexible or consulting-style work
  • Exploring trading as a side skill (not as primary income initially)

My priorities are:

  • More control over my time and schedule
  • Ability to eventually be self-employed
  • Work that feels more tangible and meaningful
  • Keeping time flexibility for my religious obligations

I’m trying to be realistic rather than impulsive, and I’d really appreciate honest perspectives from people who may have made similar transitions or considered them.

My main questions are:

  • Is it realistically worth leaving a stable corporate finance path for skilled trades at this stage?
  • For those who switched to trades or self-employment, what did you wish you knew earlier?
  • Or is it smarter to build toward independence using my current finance skillset instead?

Any honest advice or perspective is appreciated.

iPad A16 11-inch Keyboard/Case Recommendation

Hi all,

Right now I have a speck case for my iPad and I really want a keyboard attached to it or even a very transportable one as I like to use my iPad like a laptop and a tablet.

The apple magic case would be my go to, but I do not like the concept of having to take it out of the case if you want use it as a tablet. I heard the logitech case could be my best bet, but it has it own negatives like weird feeling keys, and low reliability. I also saw someone say that they carry a bluetooth keyboard around and that has been great for them.

Would love to hear everyones recommendations as this is my first iPad ever.

Should I buy cards from Peru?

Hi,

I live in America and am in Peru for work. I pre-ordered the 2026 World Cup album and 25 packs from Amazon. I found books and sticker packs here in Peru. They are much cheaper than what stores in America will sell them for. However, what is the difference in the cards? Should I just stick to buying cards in my country or does it even matter?

Please let me know!

Hey,

I know that some new games will only be accessible to the Switch 2 and no longer support the original switch. Which is crazy in my opinion, but what games can we expect to be excluded and how long will this transition period be?

If Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/etc. are remastered and released like they did with Fire Red & Leaf Green, will those be excluded from the original switch?
