My room currently looks completely empty and I’m slowly getting more and more sick of it. I want to make it look more like the 4th picture but because of the grey carpet, everything I add to it looks bland and doesn’t feel like it should be there. The room used to have lots of plants but I didn’t feel like they fit in. I currently have them all downstairs. How to make it look like the 4th picture.
I’ve recently set up an ikea terrarium and it smells of paint. 2 months ago I spray painted 2 thin coats of rustoleum and only now did I add foam and plants. The foams fully cured. The silicone is fully cured too but the paint just still smells. I’m worried about the health of my plants. Especially since I’ve already put a lot of time and effort into it. The paint is fully dry since I scratched the outside a while ago and it didn’t leak anything.
Since I moved it into a darker space where I keep my other begonias the leaves have grown a bit more and look less melted. The smaller leaf in the right is bluer than before and the red leaf has became more glossy.
I’ve had this begonia temuyuk blue for quite a long time and it hasn’t showed any strong iridescence. All that I can see on it is a slight blue sheen like in photos online.
The fist picture is mine and the second picture is what I want it to look like.
First image is begonia tagbanua.
Second image begonia burkilii dark form.
I used akadama soil for substrate. Various rosulabryum species, fern moss, Cameroon moss, java moss and racopilum for the moss and duckweed for the plants. I also placed in a spike moss cutting
I've recently wanted to make a terrarium-like design like benjiplants but I want to know if rustproofing is necessary since the rudsta is powder-coated.
I recently bought a begonia rockii and want to know how to grow it. What substrate should I use? How to keep it in a terrarium?
The tub has a lid as well
I recently bought 50 seeds and want to achieve a setup similar to this. I have lava rock but the photo may be using pumice.
I placed dry sphagunum moss in a container and waited for it to grow
First picture was taken on 4th of may and the current picture was taken today (28th may). Moss species is Racopilum Cuspidigerum.
