I’m due in 5 weeks and haven’t been able to find a job so my next best thing is finding something I can do from home.

Problem is, any time I try to research different side hustles it’s always the same answers. “Download this app to do surveys!”, “Do Instacart or DoorDash!”, “Set up a Pinterest page and do affiliate marketing!”. Except the surveys are time consuming for $0.50 per, I don’t feel safe driving while pregnant or being out by myself, and affiliate marketing is a hit or miss/only works when you already have an audience.

I could use some help with other things I could do.

I’m a first time mom and even though I had a baby shower, I mostly got clothes but no essentials like bottles, burp cloths, thermometer, medicine, things like that.

Outside of Facebook marketplace, are there any places I can get needs for cheap? My baby girl is due in September and we have too many bills to pay and such a short amount of time left.

Any advice appreciated!

Hello! I’m a baby in Christ, so there are many things I see and read that confuse me. One of them is how there are certain things in the Old Testament that are rules or laws, and then there are things in the New Testament saying that you can actually do what the OT says not too.

For example in the OT, when the Lord says what foods are unclean and gives us a list of animals not to eat, but then in the NT Jesus says that all foods are clean. I’ll give the verse to reference below.

I’m just confused because in Matthew it says Jesus came to fulfill the law, but then there seems to be laws and rules that change. Any clarification or scripture that you can provide would be appreciated!

Mark 7:18-19 Jesus says, “Are you so lacking in understanding also? Do you not understand that whatever goes into the man from outside cannot defile him, because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, and is eliminated?” (Thus He declared all foods clean.)”

I haven’t read through the whole Bible yet, I’m still in Joshua, but seeing things like this gets confusing.

My mom is throwing me a baby shower and I’m trying to help her figure out what prizes people would actually like to win for participating in games!

We will have a diaper raffle for a super big gift, and then the other small party games will be simple but I’m not sure what people are actually interested in.

XXHi Converse were my dream shoes since I was a kid, so I was thrilled to find a pair that was barely my size and bought them. Problem is, I found out months later that Converse was rereleasing them and now I’m sitting with a pair that barely fit when I could’ve got new ones.

Do people still search for the OG versions now that you can just get a new pair? I want to sell them for the price I bought them for ($220), but I’m unsure if the demand is there. Should I take the L and sell it for cheaper, or could it hold value for being a vintage/discontinued item?
