Index request bar is gone

Hi everyone! I've had this problem for a few weeks now, and I can't find any way around it. Basically, the bar at the top where you put your URL in to request indexing is gone. I've tried on my phone, in a different browser, and in incognito mode. None of them work. Is there a workaround I can use? Has anyone else experienced this before?

Trying to get papers that are supposed to be served to me

A note was left on my door, and I know it's from someone trying to serve me papers. I texted the number as I was asked to, but I haven't received a response. I'd like to get the papers so I don't get in trouble, obviously. Is there another way I can get the papers? They have my address and my phone number.

Trauma informed dentist on NW side

Hi everyone. I've been avoiding going to the dentist for a couple of years now. I know, it's terrible. I'm looking for a dentist, preferably on the NW side (but I'm also willing to travel), who is patient and non-judgmental. I went through a really bad depressive episode, which made it difficult to brush my teeth, and I have an extremely sensitive gag reflex due to some past trauma, so I need someone willing to go slow and who is understanding of how mental illness can affect oral health. I do have dental insurance through UHC. Thank you in advance.

San Antonio Friendly Yard

Hi everyone! I tried to search for this topic but didn’t find anything helpful so I’m coming to you. I don’t have a green thumb so excuse me if I ask dumb questions.

My backyard is just dirt. I want a good ground cover that is semi drought tolerant and that won’t die in the summer. I’m not too worried about how much I’d need to water it because my backyard is tiny (like 200 square feet, tiny) I also have a dog so I’d like it to not die when he uses the bathroom. I’ve been reading about clover, would that work here? Has anyone grown it here themselves? Are my expectations a little too high?

I also want to put a tree back there but want something native and would do well in a backyard that doesn’t get a ton of sun. My house faces W so it gets morning light.

Another thing that I think might be a problem is that my soil has a lot of clay and rocks. Would it be a good idea to put top soil down for the ground cover? And would that affect what kind of tree I should buy?

Any recommendations for places to go that would help me with this like a nursery or something would be really helpful. I’m trying to figure all this out and make a plan before fall and growing season.

Someone is trying to serve me papers but I don’t have all of the $ to pay a lawyer

I haven’t received the papers yet but I know they’re for my debt. Someone left a card on my door. Anyway, I was planning on filing for bankruptcy before papers were involved but haven’t saved up enough to pay for the lawyer. Am I screwed??

I feel like I’ve regressed since being medicated. Advice?

I’ve been diagnosed since 2023 but wasn’t properly medicated until May of 2025. So it’s been a year. I feel like I’ve completely regressed and what was possible pre-2025 is no longer possible. Before, I had a really successful marketing agency. I still am doing this but it’s not nearly as successful as it was pre-medication. I just wish I could have kept some of the pros of being manic like the drive, motivation, confidence, that kind of stuff. Now I feel lazy and dumb 90% of the time.

My life also hasn’t gotten easier being medicated. I feel like it’s actually gotten harder. Idk what to do. I’m not going to stop taking my meds, I know that’s a bad idea. I just want to feel like the old me.

I’ve been working with my therapist to come to terms with the fact that this is the real me now that I’m stable but I don’t like this version of myself.

Anyone else feel this way?

I’m feeling hopeless about my future and I don’t know what to do

Hi everyone, I’m not sure what I’m looking for by posting this. Maybe some success stories? Advice?

My boyfriend and I moved to a new state about 3.5 years ago. Since living here, he’s struggled to find a good-paying job. He has a job (which we are so grateful for), but it barely pays the bills. Like we have $2 in our bank account after paying the bills. We’re one emergency away from having absolutely nothing. He’s been applying to jobs consistently for over 2 years, and we’re getting really discouraged. He has a degree and quite a bit of experience, but even the entry-level jobs are rejecting him.

I have my own business, but the success of it has declined significantly due to my health. I feel like I’m finally back at a good place where I could work again, but everything I’ve built is essentially gone. I have a few consistent jobs, but since I’m self-employed, they could cancel their contracts at any point, which fuels my nerves about losing everything. I’d love to get a job with a more stable paycheck, but we only have one car (that’s on its last leg)

I’m not really sure what to do. We don’t eat out, buy extra things… but that doesn’t make a difference really. I know we won’t be in this position forever but my brain keeps telling me it could get even worse.

I don’t know, I’d take any advice at this point. Or just want to hear your stories about how you turned everything around if you were once in the same position as I am.

Stop getting search results based on my location

Hello, I’m behind frustrated 😭 I need to do some google searches that don’t take location into account as I’m trying to see if blogs I wrote are ranking on Google. I use an incognito tab and I’ve tried to disable all of my location services but it’s still pulling up places near me.

Any advice??

Bead board on a whole floor?

My house is very long and skinny. This wall goes across my entire house. It’s sooooo long and I’m at a loss of what to do with it. I was thinking bead board but since the wall is so long I feel like it would look weird just being on one wall. The rest of my walls are pretty short. Would doing all the walls be too much? Anyone have inspo?

Clean my walls without taking off the paint?

How can I spot clean my walls without taking the paint off?? This is with water and a paper towel. My paint is extremely cheap but I’m not in a position to repaint it. Am I just out of luck?

Places to volunteer?

I would really like to get involved more in the city and was hoping to get some insight on where to volunteer. Besides the common animal shelters, food banks, etc. I’d love to volunteer somewhere with a focus on child SA or just SA in general. Mental health would be good as well. Pretty much open to anything tbh.

When did you stop thinking about them every day?

It’s been a year and a half no contact. I don’t miss them at all but I think about it every day. Every. Single. Day. And I’m sick of it. How long did it take you and do I just have to wait it out or was there anything you did to help you stop ruminating? I’ve been working on this in therapy but it’s not working fast enough.

Protesting property taxes. What can I use as “evidence”

Pretty self explanatory with the title. I haven’t been able to find anything online about what would qualify as evidence for my house being worth less than they calculated. It probably isn’t worth that much less but might as well try.
