I’ve been stuck in bed 24-7 for about 2-3 weeks with a bad back. I showered once during that time.

My scalp is now very itchy and covered in scabs. The one time I showered I used Head and Shoulders. A) it’s supposed to help itching and B) I needed the shower to be absolutely as quickly as possible.

I got an epidural and am feeling MUCH better. I will hopefully be pain free in a few days but will hopefully be able to take a proper shower tomorrow or so.

Any suggestions for helping my scalp? It still itches but I’m only scratching with my finger tips. No nails.

I’ve mainly been keeping it in a braid or a bonnet.

Aside: my sweet friend sent me shampoo, body wash, conditioner, etc that is made for people in comas. It just took too long to get to me this time. Hopefully I will never need to use it but I have it now!

He screwed up thinking NC and NY are the same. Harder to screw over a state with active and strong unions.

Hopefully he won’t get a massive severance package after he destroying DPS.

I recently got the blood test and it appears I have a gluten intolerance/celiac. But I have to keep eating gluten until I can get my endoscopy done.

Is there anything you miss? Anything you think I should chow down on now before I make the switch?

Even if there’s gluten free versions out there that I could make.

Ex, I saw an amazing donut recipe but I’m still going to miss Krispy Kreme so I plan to eat Krispy Kreme soon.

What would you add to my list?

My dryer burned a hole in the butt but I don’t want to throw them away cause they’re just running short.

Where can I find “fun” patches? I know that’s not descriptive but I don’t know what I want.

We just moved to the area and like to take evening walks after dinner. Probably every other walk I notice an elderly man in the doorway of (I assume) their house. He just sits there. Staring outside.

He appears to be wheelchair bound and looks frail. I’m wondering if he doesn’t have the energy to go for walks and this is the best his caregiver can do? I may be projecting but I think he looks lonely and sad.

How weird would it be to go up and see if he’d like to join us? He’s inside his house and for some reason it makes it feel strange.

Any tips on making it less weird?

I do not understand it. I hate lettuce on any sandwich. Leaf, shredded, or whatever. I don’t even understand the point of it

What does lettuce add to a sandwich? What am I missing?
