Another day, another public sector Capita contract

And from Capita's own press release: " This win builds on Capita's capability in contact centres across a number of the company's public sector contracts."

Hopefully this will begin soon, along with expansion of public transport and making roads safer for cyclists and pedestrians.
From what I've seen of the Chaos Dwarfs, the Bull Centaurs are all monster size now, rather than just very strong heavy cavalry. Other units don't directly translate either, like the Netters, Kislev Winged Lancers or a few others.
Great stuff from our Bev!
The mayor said "it's about a helping hand, not a give-away" and "it's saying to mums and dads at the moment their life changes with a new baby that there's support on hand".
She added: "If we don't get those first 1,000 days right of a young child's life then too often the statistics say their life chances have already been determined.
"Let's get in early, offer support for mums and dads and get that young baby off to the best start, and that will reap dividends during the course of their life, in school, in college and in their place of work."
Skeletons with crossbows, winged lancers, the best version of Steam Tank ever released, screaming skull catapults plus those amazing plastic skeleton chariots.
Oh! And a War Wagon!
This weekend our local community held its biggest Warmaster tournament so far, and it turned out to be an amazing day.
The Battle for the Harvest ended with yet another victory for the Elves… but I’m sure the Vampire Counts will have their revenge one day. 🩸
What makes me happiest, though, isn’t the result. It’s seeing our community continue to grow. Every tournament brings new players, new armies, and more beautifully painted miniatures to the table. It’s especially exciting for me because I only discovered Warmaster not that long ago, and it’s been great watching the local scene expand.
Here are a few close-up shots of my Vampire Counts alongside my freshly painted Lizardmen army from the event.
Out of curiosity, what did you like about Warmaster that made you fall in love with it in the first place?
Two fantastic looking armies which, unusually for White Dwarf battle reports these were quite 'unbalanced' forces with the Empire army being very cavalry heavy and the Greenskin force having Orc Big Bosses command goblin units and a Black Orc warlords (Morglum) leading a unit of Savage Orcs. This was more of a competitive type game or 'Beardy' to use the terminology of the day.
In my opinion, it was the added little details, like the bench and barrels around the Inn, the bushes and ivy on the watchtower, the cart next to the barn (I love the hotpot), the cool staircase, all the gargoyles and the wizarding equipment on the roof of the wizard's tower.
One day, maybe one day.
Why do you think it's gone down so much?
This was always my favourite piece of scenery that was used in the photography back in the 90s. I tried to build it as a kid, and failed miserably. You could still see Tony the Tiger through the thin brown paint.
Maybe one day I'll have another bash.
Does anyone know if it still exists in GW HQ or even the museum they have there?
Just seems an odd choice.
