Would ArmA 3 run on Game Native on the S24 Ultra?

In case some of you don't know, Game Native is Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) that just went officialy to the Google Play Store and lets you play your Steam library games (even ones made for Windows) on Android - as long as the hardware can handle the game at hand, of course...

A couple more smaller importance curiosities I have...:

Does anybody know if it is easy to play on-line without having to install any Mods?

Could anyone tell if there's an active player base in Brasil - or perhaps a gamemode where internet latency is not such a huge issue...?

Thank you so much in advance any and everyone who may try to help!

Steam version(s) running on Game Native running on S24 Ultra?

Hi, everyone! I'm a noob with some questions... thank you so much in advance to any and everyone who may try to help!

  1. Does anyone think I could get VACed for trying to play on-line on unexpected (non pc, smartphone hardware) even though I bought and paid for the legit copy of Counter-Strike:Source I intend on playing? (If you don't know what GameNative is, it is open source software that just went officially to the PlayStore that lets you log-in to Steam and play your library on Android!)

  2. Last time I played CS:S was when I bought my first gaming pc around 2010 (yes, the year of Our Lord two thousand and ten)... any tips coming back? I loved 32v32 vanilla dust2 and zombie modes... (but not "zombie escape", that I never tried myself, only got to know about it many years later...)

  3. Even though as of today I am not as close as I would like to having saved the money to buy a pair of AR glasses, I do intend to buy them eventually and one of my goals would be to play an On-line First Person Shooter (ideally CS:S itself or, if it were not abandon-ware, BattleField 2, any other suggestions are welcome). Does anyone know if there is any mod or, I don't know, server or something that could make CS:S or CS 1.6 (I also own an original bought and paid for legit copy of that on Steam) true-stereoscopic 3D playable?

(I am not an expert on 3D gaming by no means. But by "true stereoscopic 3D" I mean the actually game engine generates two separate images at the same time and I see each of them with a different eye. I would not like to play with those "after the fact" effects that simply make a single 2D image "look like" its 3D...)

Stereoscopic 3D On-line First Person Shooter on S24Ultra+AR/VR glasses?

First thing I would like to know is if there is any First Person Shooter (preferably Counter-Strike: Source, or Steam-original 1.6 , or anything as light even if as old) which I could currently play On-line through Steam on my S24 Ultra's Game Native (PlayStore version) without fearing getting Valve Anti-Cheat banned only for trying to play On-line on "unusual" hardware (non-PC).

If anyone could confirm if even these specific games I mentioned work as I would like, it's already quite something for me...

Secondly, even though today I might not be as close as would like to having saved enough money to buy a pair of AR glasses, I do dream of playing a First Person Shooter On-line with such glasses in stereoscopic 3D. By "stereoscopic 3D" I mean the game engine actually processes what each eye sees rather than the glasses merely simulating "3D looking" effects to a natively 2D image - which would not look great specially when, for example, aiming down the sights.

If there were any mods or servers for even CS:Source or CS 1.6 Steam-version were I could have this experience, that would be perfect because I don't expect any smartphone - even my beloved S24 Ultra which is a beast and not even the S26 Ultra which I was told currently has the best System on a Chip ("SoC" = processor + graphics card + RAM + storage "all-in-one") currently - to handle current AAA games.

Thank you so much in advance to all and each which might try to help! Have a nice week!!!

Tips for best screen protectors, please

My main concern (after protection of course) is the protector not interfering with touch interactions/fingerprint sensor/S-Pen interactions! Preferably from AliExpress. Thank you so much!

First post: I’m about to get an S24 Ultra, coming from an S23 Ultra: any tips are welcome! Thanks!

My S23 Ultra 256Gb worked amazingly for me until it was taken when I got robbed.

I care a lot about not being limited to a Bluetoothless S-Pen.

I did my research and bought it from a good store. The very store that sold me the device suggested (in a pamphlet that came with the device) taking out their very Insurance Policy and gave 20% off the cost if I paid for the Insurance within seven days from receiving the device. I did all the paperwork and paid the same day I got the phone.

Insurance now wants to push me, however, an (Bluetoothless) S25 Ultra 512Gb, but even though it is actually more expensive (at least in the Insurance company’s refurbished goods store webpage, from which I bought the aforementioned S23 Ultra and which suggested I took out their very Insurance policy) than what would actually replace my stolen device (I care about the bluetooth S-Pen, for example), I’m afraid I could risk not being able to sell the S25 Ultra they offered for a price with which I could buy (for exampl) the S24 Ultra 1Terabyte I actually want AND WHICH IS ACTUALLY CHEAPPER THAN THE S25 Ultra THEY ARE OFFERING (comparing prices from their very store webpage, where I had bought my stolen S23 Ultra).

They are now threatening me with “going back to the end of the line” if I don’t accept their offer supposedly because “their analyst would have to reevaluate an offer to make me and even then it would be subject to their product options in stock at the time” - such “reevaluation“ by their “analyst” could take up to FOUR BUSINESS DAYS and that’s already the period for which I’ve been going back and forth with them about their S25 Ultra offer not being compatible with my Insured (but unfortunately stolen) good (at least from the Bluetooth S-Pen perspectiv, which I made very clear I care about and was a determining feature in me buying the S23 Ultra in the first place).

Not to mention all the time spent with documentation for the Insurance company from the moment I got robbed until they finally made this S25 Ultra offer.

Stereoscopic side-by-side real 3D First Person Shooter with very light hardware requirements, ideally on-line multiplayer?

Does anybody have any tip? I'm looking for a game on Steam with the following characteristics;

  1. 3D not because the game generates a single 2D image from a single point of view which subsequently is reprocessed and two different images come out; but 3D because the game natively (regardless if through a Mod or Add-On or whatever) renders the point of view for each eye from the actual engine;

  2. Ideally First Person Shooter!

  3. Even better if on-line PvE or PvP or PvPvE...

  4. It would be amazing if it ran on very underpowered/old hardware (my plans are to run it in a flagship smartphone, but I am REALLY worried with heat issues!!!)

  5. If it fits all of the above characteristics, I'm seriously considering paying whatever money. However, if a game does not fit "perfectly", maybe I would like it to be not thaaaaat much expensive...

Any help is much appreciated! Thanks to everyone who read to the end!

Charging paused because battery already reached the defined percentage: does it protect the device just the same as the "Pause USB charging" feature?

Sorry for the long title!

My smartphone has a feature I love which is named "Pause USB charging".

It allows the phone to be used while being powered by external USB power source, which is to say NOT the internal battery, but at the same time it does so, it does NOT charge the battery. This is very important to me because I want to be sure my battery is not heating up from both being charged and, at the same time, the processor being under some load - or even a very demanding load (which heats up the whole hardware basically).

However, for the "Pause USB charging" feature to be enabled, I must simultaneously:

  1. Have a charger which supports a PD ("Power Delivery") very specific protocol named "PPS" (which stands for "Programmable Power Supply") (I already have a charger which meets this requirement);

  2. Provide the device with at least 45W electric power (the charger I already own and mentioned in 1. is rated for up to 65W, so this requirement is also not a problem for me); and

  3. the internal battery must already be at least at a 20% charge.

MY PROBLEM, however, is that I simply can not reach a definitive answer to the question: is there ANY USB-C Hub/Docking Station/whatever would allow me to use my smartphone with typical computer peripherals (such as mouse and keyboard, external video (monitor, tv, projector, XReal AR glasses...), external SSD, audio output/input, ideally even ethernet jack, pendrive/sdcard...) which would charge my phone WITH the PD protocol specifically needed, PPS, thus enabling my beloved "Pause USB charging" feature???????????

I have alredy tried many and researched COUNTLESS!!! If anyone could help me, it is much appreciated!

Now, back to the question asked in the title: would anybody have the slightest idea if, by any chance, the feature which pauses charging when the battery reaches a defined percentage (usually 80% , 85% , 90% or 95% always something close to "full"), which by the way was available in devices by many different brands many years before "Pause USB charging [using PPS]" was even invented, offers EXACTLY the same protections to the battery and the device integrity in general as this "fancier" new feature which has so many requirements (and which I love but is making me nuts)?

Thank you so much!

I was going to buy the XReal Air 2 (or Air 2 Pro; or Air 2 Ultra). But they've gone out of stock...? What newer model would fit its role best?

Sorry for the long title... Anybody would suggest another model that can still be found for sale (which I imagine would be newer...) or perhaps help me with a hint on where to maybe find a brand new Xreal Air 2 (or Air 2 Pro; or Air 2 Ultra) so I don't loose hope of getting the model I believe would by far look best on my face!

Thank you so much in advance! Have a nice week!
