Manga with cool art and a trippy story

I really liked MADK and bibliomania and wanted to know if there were any stories with an interesting art style and plot that yall have read. It can be any genre I don't mind! I prefer shorter stories (1-25 chapters) but I'm also fine with long ones (25+ chapters)!

I would also like to double this as a rec both of these mangas are decently popular I believe but if you haven't read them yet you should!!

which name should I pick for my main character?

asking this because I'm really struggling with it.. I have an easy time creating names but when it comes to putting them together I get stuck. I mean what makes a main characters name memorable? is it just how unique they are? I feel like the names Im trying to go for are unique enough but whenever I compare it to other characters with iconic names I get stuck a bit.. does it sound as good to other people as it does for me?

I've decided on my main characters name being Lupon for the first name but I was debating switching it to Luppon but the last name is where I get stuck.. Theres so many to pick from and I get confused

Ill also provide a list with what each name means / was inspired by but some are just mashed up words/other characters names or are following a formula for vowels and consonants that i used for the name to make sense.

Some background info is this character is a witch/mage who is going on an adventure to find broken up stone pieces so she can make a wish

Lupon Rosa
Lupon Kokoro
Lupon Mokai
Lupon Moona
Lupon Mona
Lupon Muna
Lupon Melona
Lupon Zoomi
Lupon Poyon
Lupon gokon
Lupon Bando
Lupon Bandu
Lupon Gambu
Lupon Cheri
Lupon Mojo
Lupon Gaimon
Lupon Pimon
Lupon Turano
Lupon Marino
Lupon Melona
Lupon Blossu

Anime recs with a female mc and good worldbuilding/plot?

Originally, I tried searching for animes with a female mc and I found some pretty good ones but I got bored with a lot of them because they were usually slice of life and romance so I decided to try asking here with my list of shows that I liked with girl protags!

I prefer stories that have good worldbuilding/adventure aspects most of the time with shows like hunter x hunter and jojo's bizarre adventure things that are entertaining n creative mostly..

Some shows that I discovered with a female mc that I enjoyed were - Land of the lustrous, the promised neverland, madoka magica, and witch hat atelier I also watched a bit of serial experiments lain and wonder egg priority so those fit a bit too but I preferred the first four because the plots were more entertaining to me. Oh almost forget I watched made in abyss that one was pretty cool too just kind of creepy but I liked the worldbuilding in it and the plot was interesting!!

I tried psycho pass but that one wasn't really for me I was more worried about other things during the time I was watching it so wasnt really focused on it. After that I watched a bit of frieren but I was never interested in shows that are more slice of life Im sure its a high quality show but it just wasnt for me

Unique out of the ordinary ways you came up with names for your world? whether it's beasts characters foods items places etc..

Just wondering because so far, I've tried looking on maps for names for characters, places, n objects and with that I came up with the name Touba for an island

Ive tried looking up names using listophile in different countries for names for places characters you get it and with that I came up with Mandu for a characters last name or something

I've tried translating some words into different languages to see if I could get anything cool and with that, I got Moja for one in Swahili

I've tried creating my own words using common themes like consonant vowel consonant vowel consonant and with that I got Gamon

Ive even tried just using a basic word generator but with that I didn't really get anything tbh..

Oh, I also tried using names from random Pinterest's and that works decent I mean I got names like Nero and Lulu not sure if I'd use them, but you know it's there

so Im curious what have you tried so far to come up with names cause honestly it's kind of fun using new methods and Im running out of ideas.

Magical girl shows with the best worldbuilding?

Just wondering if there are any magical shows with good worldbuilding whether it's in technology/gadgets, monsters/beasts, cool power system, plants, foods, geography I'm just really interested in magical girl shows with unique concepts. If I had to pick an example, I'd say madoka magica was really well done on the front of subverting expectations, the soul gems, and the concept behind witches.

Also sorry if I'm asking for something that has already been asked pls let me know so I can delete this.

Shows that are kind of mysterious/unique like hxh?

Okay so its been around 4 years since I watched hunter x hunter and ever since then I've been looking for shows like it but to no avail

I think the thing that intrigued me most about hxh was the mysteries surrounding it such as the dark continent and how well thought out the power system and main characters were. It just felt so creative to me compared to other shows I watched.

Some animes I found so far that kind of fit the vibe for me were Made in Abyss for the mysteries and overall worldbuilding, Jojo's bizarre adventure for how unique it was, Jujutsu Kaisen Culling Games arc for how creative the game concept was, Sword Art Online for the worldbuilding behind the games and the overall premise of the story, No Game No Life for again the worldbuilding - tho that one's creepy - and finally Harry Potter for the creativity around the overall story.

I've tried Yu Yu Hakusho which is pretty good for me right now but doesn't really fit like the other series I'm talking about, One Piece wasn't creative enough for me personally and had really bad pacing and character writing for the girls, Attack on Titan was really creative but wasn't what I was looking for, vinland saga was super good but Im more interested in more creative fantasy worldbuilding and concepts, madoka magica which was super good but too short to hold a ranking and didn't have too much worldbuilding outside of the magical girl concepts and the things that related to it, and monster which is definitely in my top 5 but was too realistic for what Im looking for.

I guess I mostly like stories that do their own thing? I feel like nothing will ever top Hunter x hunter for me but I still wanna find good unique shows to add to my watched list.

I hope that I posted this in the right place it was either this or anime suggest but I felt like you guys would know what Im talking about more? Thanks so much for reading this

Shows for all nighters that are fun and have a cool vibe?

I want a kind of fun dream like vibe - Some things that come to mind for me are death note, abyss, the promised neverland, and made in abys (if it wasn't creepy). I just kind of want it to have a cold vibe in a way but still be entertaining if that makes sense? I dont want it to be too relaxed tbh I want it to have a good plot. Ive watched a decent amount of anime so far I mean usually I get caught up with whats popular atm (as long as it's not a slice of life or romance) I also liked akudama drive and neon genesis evangelion but I felt like both were a lil too relaxed and uninteresting to me but had a good vibe. I was considering watching serial experiments lain next soo lmk what u think I should watch.

It's soo hard to find shows and movies to watch, I swear... I've been watching anime since 2021, like most have, so around 5 years, and I have barely come across ones I've liked, and usually they're popular So I'm gonna give you a list, and hopefully you can find recs that Ill like lol cuz I got nothing to do today and don't really want to work on my other hobbies rn..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

JJBA - Parts 1-3 I've watched as well as the SBR first episode, which I really liked. I mostly liked parts 1 and 2 of this and was interested in hamon and how creative it was. And for SBR, I just loved the artstyle and I want to see where it goes. I think I liked JJBA mostly because of the art style and creative liberties it took with some things? I liked the model and the statue type aesthetic and fashion. Though I felt like for part 3 it fell off a bit because of the pacing.

Hunter x Hunter - I think this was one of my all-time favorites because of how creative the world was and the worldbuilding - the hunters I would've never thought of, I liked how each arc played out, I loved Nen, and I thought the dark continent was pretty creative.

I liked all Studio Ghibli movies, mostly but especially Howl's Moving Castle and When Marnie was There I just really enjoy the vibe of them it feels like passion has been put into each and every movement of the characters and that it was made with care. (whether thats true or not I'm not sure but it's just the impression I got)

JJK S2-3 - I really liked s2 and s3 of JJK because it felt kind of fresh you know? It just felt like a different world and I liked how the characters were written as well as the animation and the culling games arc. It felt unique to me.

The Promised Neverland S1 - I liked this because it was engaging and I liked all the characters it was unique again and that's exactly what I was looking for.

Death Note - Obviously -- It was fun and engaging and I liked the plot line as well as the scheming going on. I also enjoyed the aesthetics and death angel type thing. It was just well written you know? at least at the start I dropped it at episode 28 but I have watched it 3 times so far soo..

Madoka magica - was just a fun cute little series that I enjoyed. I liked the "romance" between the two characters as well as their dynamics and it was just a fun watch. I even ended up watching the other movies as well.

Attack on Titan - Liked the plot twists never finished s4 though

Also a quick list of ones I liked as well - Suzume, your name, children of the sea, erased, akudama drive, neon genesis evangelion(was okay I liked it enough I guess), witch hat atelier(nice fun but didn't like the victim blaming in ep 3 so I dropped), Kamisama Kiss - was cute, Vinland Saga, Ouran Highschool Host club - Im not sure why I liked this it was creepy but I just did. - Maid Sama again creepy n I have no idea, Inuyasha - Cute never finished it though, A whisker away again creepy but pretty cool icl, weathering with you, a silent voice - super good.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now for some ones I didn't like (beware I'm super picky)

Naruto - I liked it but it was a little slow for me and I only watch an episode or two on occasion. I just feel like I never really have enough time to get into it right now but I might try again later.

Solo Leveling - the manhwa was nice when it was new but as things started getting reproduced, it just felt uncreative and boring as the anime came out.

One Piece - the pacing was ass, had good world-building, but I didn't really like any of the characters, sorry. It just wasn't engaging to me.

Saiki-K and Nichijou - Just not really into comedy, which is also part of the reason I didn't like One Piece, I feel.

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood - It just felt like it had nothing to offer it wasn't bad I just got bored by it I think I stopped at s2 or s3? maybe I have no recollection of it

Berserk and Monster - Too dark for me sorry with depressing color palettes. I might try them again later because I barely got past the first episode for both and it was like 2 years ago so I may have changed my tastes

Fruitbasket - (I preferred Yuki, I'm sorry), Snow white with the red hair - good quality just dont like romance too much, Horimiya not really into romance or school settings sorry, Your Lie in April, and Violet Evergarden.

MHA - Didn't like the artstyle fanservice and the mc was crying too much for my tastes but it def had potential it was just mostly reduced to a school setting and characters related to it that I didnt really like.

Demon Slayer - I didn't like the artstyle for some reason and the side character that was always crying it just got annoying for me but the plot was fun. I only got to like after the exams tho.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyways, hopefully you have recs I dont mind if u recommend popular animes as well I just need a reason to try them I guess. Obviously, I didn't say every single one I tried, just the ones that would give a general impression of what I liked. I also don't mind underrated series/movies as well.

I think I mostly prefer stories that feel unique in their own sense and have good worldbuilding/pacing, and basically check all the boxes for characters. I like well-rounded stories.
