I had a few of these growing up. Mega Man 2, Jordan vs Bird, and a WWF game which I still own to this day. Still works too, my 7 year old nephew loves playing it surprisingly enough. I now understand why my parents were so annoyed by the sound effects, and constantly yelling at us to turn the damn things off lol.
The original Gameboy seemed mind-blowingly cutting edge when it first hit the scene, and when comparing it to these it's easy to see why.
I LOVE me a good documentary. What are some of your faves?
Super Nintendo was the vastly superior console, but the Sega Genesis definitely had its share of bangers 🔥
Awesome little Indie film that was made on a shoestring budget. I saw this shortly after it was released in 2011, and absolutely loved it. Was expecting great things from writer/director/star Evan Glodell after such an impressive debut.
Fast forward 15 years, and he still hasn't added a single other credit to his filmography since then. I'm surprised by this....Bellflower had a decent bit of buzz around it when it was released iirc, and I find it odd that he's failed to capitalize on that in any way for a decade and a half now. Looks like he has a couple projects in the works at least, with release dates TBA.
For those of you who have seen this film, what did you think of it?
