How do I order the right kind of brads?

Yo - maybe Im just super old. Getting back into writing aftwr many years out- back in the day we read and printed scripts on 3-hole punch paper and fastened them with brads. Is that ancient? Do people just do everything digitally now? In any event, its harder than youd think to order the right kind of heavy duty thick brass 1-1/4" brads appropriate for a 120pg script! Yrs ago I knew how/where to get but now cant find easily. Anyone know exactly what kind of soze description to use on amazon or wherever?

Have mods ever considered a separate thread for people who just want to question and complain about cost?

I get it- TM is expensive. But with everything else in Life, if we think something's cost doesnt warrant its value we just dont buy it. People dont generally rail about how they cant believe how cost prohibitive it is to get rolfing done, or flying to Chile, or whatever but it seems like this sub just gets inundated with these complaints. Mods are good about shutting down even an inkling of "how to" talk- might yall consider banning cost talk, too? Or at least relegating it to a separate sub? I know Im addressing the mods here but what do yall think? Again I get it but the amount of oxygen this sucks up here is ... a lot.

Why arent flight attendants more a part of the de-planing process?

Weve all been there. The plane lands and if youre not in the first 5 rows you wait for what seems like a ridiculous amount of time for people to get off the plane. God help you if youre trying to make a connection. Ive always wondered why theres no announcement like this: " everyone please stay seated as we ask only those with connections in the next 90 monutes to rise and exit the aircraft." After which flight attendants manage emrow by riw to get people moving efficiently off the plane. Cwrtainly this has come up at a Monday morning mtg- just wondering why this doesnt happen?

Zaandam ship- wondering if Im likely to get sea sick on a ship this size?

Ive been on huge cruise ships (around 5k passengers) with no issues.
Im interested in traveling on a more intimate ship - Zaandam or something similar. Given that its way smaller I know theres a greater chance of seasickness but wondering from those who have been on it or a ship that size- how common is seasickness among the passengers compared to the megaships?

Any trouble reselling fanciful rounds?

In the buyers market Ive noticed that rounds arent too much less than your national mint bullion coins that have no numistatic value. Since the ole Big 5-7 countries can get a tad dull, Im interested in collecting more rounds- some artful, some kinda silly looking. Wondering tho- have folks had teouble cashing these in compared to the old tried n true ases, maples, britannias etc?

Old cold war era movie about men studying to be spies--- can you help me identify?

I was a kid and it was on tv. Flipping channels and I wanted to watch but someone changed the channel. An old black n white film from probably the 1950s. These guys were studying/testing to be spies. Theyre sitting in a classroom setting and audio is played overhead and this guy will ask them, "was that the sound of swiss church bells or two toasting wine glasses?" That sort of thing tho I recall that was the question pretty much when the channel got changed. Any ideas? Thanks!

What percentage of your trips have had "white knuckle" turbulence?

Hey there! I love to travel and have actually done a lot of flying- and while I enjoy smooth trips I still get freaked out about turbulence. Curious to hear from you professionals: (1) what percentage of your flights have turbulence where most passengers are scared/freaked out? (2) what percentage (if any) would u say you and other crew members are freaked out? I talked with a career flight attendant who once who told me she was never afraid for her life but had been afraid of getting knocked down. Im guessing this also can depend a lot on what your flight routes are. Well, thanks for entertaining the question of unr willing to!

At what levels do the puzzles become more helpful?

So Ive been doing the puzzles (starting at first level) but even though Im a beginner theyre so simple that they dont seem to provide any instructional guidance or challenge. (They even tepeat the same moves over and over and its almost always a one move puzzle.) At what level do they become more helpful to developing winning strategies and can I skip levels?

Think like a chimp and it becomes a lot clearer why things are the way they are.

So many of our confounding exoeriences around UAPs make the phenomenon seem not so strange when I put into himan/chimp perspective. Imagine youre part of a troupe of chimps, living under a flight path. You marvel at these craft asking "who is up there? How do they do that? When will they make themselves known to us? What are they planning? Will they take our bannanas? Why dont they just cone down in this spot here? Maybe the alpha male knows more than he is telling us!" "My great uncle was swinging theough the jungle one day and he actually saw this hairless creature! He had a box- it was kind of like bannana tree wood but brighter and stronger..."

Anyone else get in this rut? I feel like a gambler at a slot machine chasing after lost money when this happens... as I watch my elo spiral downthe drain...
