Rose of Nevada is a film I watched recently and by the end was sure that David Lynch fans may enjoy it.
For me it was one of the best films I’ve sen in along time.
If you’re a fan of Twin Peaks or the dreamlike, unsettling tone of David Lynch, The Rose of Nevada by Mark Jenkin is absolutely worth your time.
It’s one of those rare films that doesn’t just tell a story, it feels like you’ve slipped into it. The sound design, visuals, and performances all work together in this hypnotic, slightly off-kilter way that keeps you locked in.
There’s mystery, atmosphere, and that same sense that something deeper is lurking just out of reach… but it never over-explains or breaks the spell.
I came out of it still half inside the film.
If you like your cinema strange, immersive, and lingering long after the credits, go see it.
This sounds like EE saying, we'll protect against others scamming you, so we can be the only ones to scam you.
33.3% is a bit steep. I know it's 50p, but that's not the point. How do they justify this?
massive attack v's mad professor dubs
What are folks thoughts on these?
Are there more than these two?
What do we reckon on a full remaster and compilation of extended versions?
For me it's a shame the sound quality is great, but they are great explorations of the remix process, and brilliant or chilling out to.
